In the message, I had broken it down by cost per item as I am comparing costs with other contractors to gauge who to go with. He showed up after charging 100.00 for the estimate; snapped a few photos and gave me lump sum quotes which I did not want. When I asked him about breaking down the quote to individual items , he spazzed out at me and started ignoring my messages scamming me out of the 100 dollar estimate fee. For reference what Iwanted was a breakdown on how much itll cost per toilet replacement, per shower re-grout, per vanity replacement as he quoted me a lump sum. I specified that Iwanted this ahead of time before he entered and he decided to lump it all together. Small price to pay to avoid a garbage contractor who clearly wont hold up to his end of the scope. He quoted that in 17 years he had never seen someone requesting a breakdown of a lump sum quote.. I work in construction as a PM and its standard to compare costs by material/labor per line item. Waste of time and money.

I have not had a lot of opportunities to write positive reviews for contractors. So, when there is such a chance, I really want to yell it from the rooftops! I needed another AC installed. I messed up and only thought about the width and the height. Didn't take into account that I have bars behind the window that would limit the depth! Lav took off the brackets and reinstalled them in a spot that would make the AC fit. And again, non nonsense! So many guys out there would say "that was a bigger job then expected. I need more money". Lav is such an honorable man in addition to a pleasant demeanor and great work!
