That is why we chose this unit - for the so-called stunning view, but this was not the case at all. There was zero view of the beach from our rental and only a tiny sliver of a view several doors down where you could see a little piece of ocean water that was way beyond the waves. The interior of our rental was nicely, remodeled and apparently not too long ago, and most of it was in good or very good condition. However, not having the promised view really took most of the fun out, of our enjoyment since we always like to spend time watching the waves and the people going up and down the beach. Too bad we couldn't see any of that because of the tightly grouped houses blocking our view.

SeaCoast Rentals are the worst type of company. My family has went to the Pelican for 7 years now for vacation, loving every year except this year…read more When we arrived the new owners had given our room away which I reserved the year before when I was there for our vacation...which you can't talk directly to anyone even at check in or check out only via text with all concerns. My room was not only the wrong room but absolutely disgusting from the front door to the bathroom. Our kitchen was so bad it had grease all on the stove top, inside the stove, the drawer at the bottom was covered from side to side inside & out. The refrigerator had duck tape on the door to hold items such as mayo, mustard ect. Moved the refrigerator to sweep to find not only one but two tampons under it along with a ton of trash. The bathroom had urine all behind the commode with splattered poop on the wall in front of it. I could go on for an hour. I took pictures of everything. I contacted Viagem (new owners) immediately via text & email with a very detailed email explaining the wrong room with how dirty the room is and all pictures with a video to back up my claim. I also texted Victoria (manager) on her cell phone with the no response. One of the maids came in and kept apologizing couldn't believe it. I was told I could leave them and get a full refund which I told them I couldn't because there was no where else to rent. The person I had texted & the person who I had emailed Promised a Full refund for all the problems I had. Now let me remind you this was in July. Now it's the end of August and I haven't received my money back, or any additional contact. I have tried to contact them and they will not respond. DO NOT STAY AT THE PELICAN....it's not the same Amazing motel that it used to be when Tracey was the owners. NEW OWNERS DON'T CARE, THEY ARE LIARS.
