My friends got a different variety of their breakfast sandwiches, two eggs, cheese, bacon, one on a bagel and one on bread, and they both happily finished them off. Of course, I had to try the donut grilled cheese. Yes, American cheese, in between a doughnut that was split in half and griddled. It was a strange sensation, the salty cheese with the really sweet doughnut, crispy and caramelized on the outside and still soft on the inside. It's something everyone should have once in their life, lol. Oh, we also got one of their old-fashioned donuts, which is my barometer for how good a donut place is. It was a good donut.
