    Dozen assorted donuts
    Jo Nell R.

Bright space. Lots of donuts! Service was good. A very large selection of donuts, pastries, and other desserts even at 8:00 PM. We selected a dozen and sat to eat one as our dessert since the fish fry we went to tan out of desserts. I had half of a blueberry and half of a sugar raised. Both were very good on flavor although they didn't seem super fresh. Way outside of my area but would go back if out that way again.

A few of their donut options, a chocolate long John, a couple cake donuts with sprinkles, and a raised glazed donut

A local gem that offers excellent donuts, great breakfast sandwiches, as well as lunch and dinner sandwiches. Tony's donuts is one of my go to spots for a good breakfast sandwich. I normally get the steak egg and cheese sandwich on Texas toast along with a few donuts. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is always friendly. The parking lot is decent sized although there are a couple spots that will get blocked in by the drive thru line. However it's only a couple spots and east to avoid

    Assorted Danishes.

Decided to give Tony's a try for the first time since every time we drive by, it's busy! I had the sausage & egg croissant & my wife had the bacon & egg croissant sandwich. They were on a huge croissant but rather bland. I prefer the Supreme Croissant sandwich at Jack n Box. I tried one of the regular glaze donuts & it was more cake like than soft, light & airy like Old Town Donuts in Florissant. When I saw the Danishes, I had to buy one to take home! They looked amazing & it's how the grocery stores used to make them with the glaze on the pastry to keep them soft & fresh. Overall, it seems like a great place, well managed, clean, friendly & efficient staff, an abundance of pastries, latte's, cappuccinos & coffees.

Tony's was featured on the news so I figured I'd give it a try. I got a breakfast wrap and it was very average, could definitely make in 10 seconds at home. I also tried a couple of their filled donuts. The dough was a little dry but they were FILLED with so much cream/raspberry jelly that it made them better. I ordered an iced coffee and got a large cup of ice with about 2 oz of actual coffee so that was disappointing. Overall, fine experience but probably would not go again.

    A nice assortment

We don't live anywhere close to this place, but the tax office we go to is very close to Tony's Donuts. So one year we tried it. Now every year since we have stopped at Tony's before or after getting our taxes done. Tony's and taxes. If we owe, the donuts help cheer us up. If we get a refund, we treat ourselves and celebrate. Either way, it's a win. Every time we've been the donuts are obviously very fresh. Also, every time we've been there has been a line. That's always a good sign IMO. They have a massive assortment of donuts and pastries along with coffee, smoothies and more. Surprisingly, they don't have my all-time favorite donut which is maple glazed. It's okay though because they have many other favorites that are a close second. They offer a drive thru if you're in a hurry, or take a break and have a seat inside. I always look forward to tax season so we can get more Tony's Donuts.

I have always came to Tony's since I was a kid. I always get the Turkey trio so you know I had to stick with that! Also grabbed a couple donuts for the road! Service is always great and the ambiance is a wonderful sight of donuts!!! A staple in my book forever!

He leans in and says, "I can put one together for you... just trust me." And listen... that was the moment I decided to surrender control and embark on a culinary adventure. As he started listing what he had in mind, my skepticism quickly turned into straight-up anticipation. It already sounded incredible--but I HAD to chime in and add tomatoes and banana peppers (because balance, obviously). What I received for $13 was not just a wrap. It was a masterpiece. This thing was PACKED--like, no-such-thing-as-skimping levels of juicy, flavorful chicken. Every bite hit. Every ingredient showed up. No fillers, no regrets. Here's the real kicker: I ate half yesterday... and the other half today? Still. Fresh. Still. Delicious. Still. Worth it. Moral of the story: Sometimes the best thing on the menu... isn't on the menu. Big Belly Deli, I see you. And next time, I'm coming back ready to co-create another masterpiece

The portion size was good. It came loaded with meats. Had to be 2 inches at least. I honestly wasn't a fan of the aioli and really wasn't a fan of the bun. I got it to go so it wasn't warm, but after 20 min the bun had the consistency of a red lobster biscuit. The bread was my least favorite part, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt and try again. Although I'll go in person rather than take out.

But after an intense Costco trip, we were wanting a hearty sandwich. They are located in a strip mall, where they are many other busy businesses so parking can be a little tough. But going in, they were packed! Tip to tail, it was just people trying to get their food. And, that was us waiting a while to come in to pick up our goods. So, absolutely order ahead because it will make it somewhat easier. We ordered: The JD Cold Shoulder - cold cuts on a garlic roll with chipotle ranch. My husband loved his, and glad he ordered it with the garlic roll. Joe's Spicy Italian - this was spicy and sweet, and it really hits when you love a good spicy italian sandwich. You can choose your bread, and I opted for mine to be on a French roll. Great sandwiches, long wait, but just really good and worth the wait!

They definitely did not disappoint! From the moment our food came out, everything smelled amazing. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries with the spinach dip, and I absolutely loved the homemade chips that came with it. My kids got kids' meals and enjoyed their food as well. I also ordered a chicken Philly to-go for my son since it was his birthday, which made the visit even more special. Emma was our server, and she was very nice and attentive throughout our meal. I also loved that they have patio seating it's such a nice option, especially on a beautiful day even though we did not sit outside the patio seating we wanted was not open that night. I also liked how they had merchandise to buy while in the restaurant like tees, sweatshirts, bottles of wine . They also cook books for sale in their resturant by another shop we had recently been to called Made by Lia. That was definitely a nice community touch to show how close the area is to their companions! In addition, we had a great first experience and will definitely be back with the rest of the family!

The building does a lot of the work here: an old place sitting in the middle of Old Town Florissant's residential blocks, with a bar, a dining room, a porch, and a patio we didn't get to use (next cool evening, we will). It's charming, and a real asset to that neighborhood. It is also loud. Old plaster, hard surfaces, not enough hung on the walls to absorb any of it. The old fashioned was solid, sweeter than I prefer. Appetizers were the low point: toasted ravioli thick and hard enough to qualify as gum scratchers (filling was fine), flatbread middle of the road. Then the kitchen found its footing. Parmesan-encrusted chicken won the table, with a nice rice-orzo pilaf and green beans that weren't overcooked. The Jameson whiskey burger came blue cheese, bacon, crispy onions, glaze, brioche, and ate dry (although ordered medium): too many rich flavors, nothing acidic to cut through them. Burnt ends mac and cheese was good and rich, but the brisket wasn't tender as I had hoped. We caught a night with only one dessert (a moist Lemon Sunshine cake that tasted like a Dreamsicle) and ice cream to put beside it. Christy took good care of us, efficiently and strictly by the book. 3.7 out of 5 stars Punch up the apps, and bring some balance to some of the entrees and this would bring up my rating to the low 4s. Bring the relatives who flinch at a menu. Acid somewhere on the plate, tender brisket, ice cream by the cake, and something soft on those walls would move this up quickly.
