Menu has good variety. Food combos, dozen of doughnuts, beverages, smoothies and teas available for purchase. I ordered a fruit smoothie consisting of strawberry/ raspberry and pina colada and a lemon raspberry cheesecake. Both items were amazing. Smoothie consistency was just the smooth thickness I love and cheesecake was fresh and moist and flavorful. Staff were welcoming, friendly and speedy in checkout. Prices were reasonable. Stopped in for lunch with a coworker and the sandwich and wraps were good. We got chicken-bacon-ranch and buffalo chicken. Smiling staff and fresh food. I'm always tempted by the donut case, so I will have to come by for breakfast some morning when my schedule allows. My friend's order took a bit longer than expected (~15 minutes - They seemed to be busy with a large drive-thru line though.) I've been there approx. 100 times so I'm surprised this is my first official review. Without making it too long, I'll share my and my family's favorites: Croissant sandwich with turkey egg and cheese Club sandwich + avocado on croissant Gyro.. enough said Chicken Philly .. yum The donuts we frequent are: old fashioned, blueberry cake, buttermilk, and glazed. I do not care for flaxseed but my family likes their glazed over any other glazed donut. They know what's good for them. And drink is made with love. Their music choice is wholesome and uplifting. Bright space. Lots of donuts! Service was good. A very large selection of donuts, pastries, and other desserts even at 8:00 PM. We selected a dozen and sat to eat one as our dessert since the fish fry we went to tan out of desserts. I had half of a blueberry and half of a sugar raised. Decided to give Tony's a try for the first time since every time we drive by, it's busy! I had the sausage & egg croissant & my wife had the bacon & egg croissant sandwich. They were on a huge croissant but rather bland. I prefer the Supreme Croissant sandwich at Jack n Box. I tried one of the regular glaze donuts & it was more cake like than soft, light & airy like Old Town Donuts in Florissant. When I saw the Danishes, I had to buy one to take home! They looked amazing & it's how the grocery stores used to make them with the glaze on the pastry to keep them soft & fresh. Tony's was featured on the news so I figured I'd give it a try. I got a breakfast wrap and it was very average, could definitely make in 10 seconds at home. I also tried a couple of their filled donuts. The dough was a little dry but they were FILLED with so much cream/raspberry jelly that it made them better. I ordered an iced coffee and got a large cup of ice with about 2 oz of actual coffee so that was disappointing. Overall, fine experience but probably would not go again. read more

We don't live anywhere close to this place, but the tax office we go to is very close to Tony's Donuts. So one year we tried it. Now every year since we have stopped at Tony's before or after getting our taxes done. Tony's and taxes. If we owe, the donuts help cheer us up. If we get a refund, we treat ourselves and celebrate. Either way, it's a win. Every time we've been the donuts are obviously very fresh. Also, every time we've been there has been a line. That's always a good sign IMO. They have a massive assortment of donuts and pastries along with coffee, smoothies and more. Surprisingly, they don't have my all-time favorite donut which is maple glazed. It's okay though because they have many other favorites that are a close second. They offer a drive thru if you're in a hurry, or take a break and have a seat inside. I always look forward to tax season so we can get more Tony's Donuts. read more

I usually have great service here. I ordered almost the same thing every week. Today I arrived and my order wasn't ready. That is fine....but one of the ladies started on my order (which I mobile ordered from home as I always do every single week) but it seems she forgot. I have watched over a dozen people who have arrived here after me get their orders and leave happily. I may have to reconsider who I do business with every Sunday. Getcha heavenly glazed donut and quick drive-thru service here. Lots of breakfast and lunch options too. More than donuts, Tony's is also a coffee and sandwich shop. My mocha latte was sweet. Actually, it was overly sweet and compared to the McDonalds McCafé hot mocha. Props to the drive-thru attendant who managed not to laugh when I unthinkingly asked for my espresso drink to be decaf. The customer service and communication skills are very poor. I visited Tony's this morning and order a sausage egg and cheese croissant with 1 glazed donut. They had a crowd but the workers/ cooks seemed to be moving slow and unaware of what orders to fill. The lady that took my order informed me my sandwich would be up shortly. After waiting 15 minutes I then asked the same lady who took my order how long was it before my sandwich to be made. Instantly another woman intervenes saying she just told you order sandwich would be up shortly, in a very rude tone. I continued my conversation on my phone and this lady made it her business to be in my business instead of taking other customers orders. I had to point to my ear to let her know I was on the phone. When I got my sandwich she then walks over to tell me I can order online and how they make their sandwiches fresh. Information that I didn't need nor asked for. I assume she is the head lady in charge, but please someone inform her she needs to tone it down a bit. She should be showing better customer skills. Rude, rude and rude!! What do St Louisan's love ?... We love our mom and pop donut spots. Case in point, that is why it took almost 15 years for Dunkin Donuts to enter back in the St Louis area. You have to come with much more than a cheap franchise donut like Dunkin, Tims or Krispy. Your donuts have to have that blue collar, auto plant working class feel to it that's native to St Louis donuts. I passed Tony's so many times wanted to go in but kind of leery because it's hard to just pick up new donut spot. So one Sunday , I decided to just go in and try it. Upon getting out of my car it smelled like... you guessed it "Donuts" and not the "Hot Donuts" now of corporate factory donut maker Krispy Kreme. It smelled like National Supermarkets Bakery and Knodels Bakery in Jennings back in the 1980's like real DONUTS.. Upon walking into the store I noticed they had drive thru which moved pretty fast. The place indeed had a nostalgia feel of how Knodels Bakery use to feel back in the 1980's of welcoming and inviting. It was well lite on the inside something you couldn't tell from the outside because most of the windows are covered. The guy taking my order was nice and asked me if I wanted to get 3 more donuts for a half dozen. While not as good a deal as you can get from Ole Towne Donuts in Florissant (you can get 12 donuts for the price of 6 with the online coupon they have on their site) I decided to get a half dozen (1 chocolate cake, 2 glazed, 3 plain cake) The plain cake were very good not great but very good. Chocolate cake was good. But when I took the 1st bite of the glazed I had to stop .. it was like what "no say it aint so I have finally found glazed donut that is perfect..... Thumbs up to Tony's glazed donut. I felt 6 years old again with glazed donuts from National Supermarket( by the way they had the best glazed donuts I have ever had that's National's not Schnucks!!) Stopped into Tony's Donuts for an afternoon treat after a trip to the Nissan dealership nearby. Tony's never disappoints. Beautiful donuts. I got a cruller with raspberry icing and a blueberry cake donut. They were both fresh and delicious even in the early afternoon. Their cases were well stocked. The employees are always friendly and accommodating. They have a drive thru but I can't imagine not viewing the choices prior to making a selection. Popped in one morning at the behest of a good friend who swears by this place. I was instantly hooked. The plethora of cake style donuts had me mesmerized. Tony's does a really nice job. Love their BLT on Texas toast! Great donuts. They clearly have pride in what they serve. In addition, the people there are really great. Always friendly, helpful, and act as though they value their patrons... each and every time I've gone there. Once I placed an online order so I could pick it up, and somehow it didn't make it through, so my order wasn't ready. The person at the takeout window apologized several times and offered me a free donut. It's a great business move to encourage one's employees to offer an extra when there has been a minor lapse in service. One thing they might consider is going to paper straws and/or biodegradable cups... Just a thought. Tony's Donuts is a great local place. I'm glad to live nearby. read more

They're not very pleasant. I hate ordering and paying for food from a place where the people seemingly aren't pleased to see you. Most people going to get donuts in the morning are happy people or looking for sweet joy! I guess because they stay busy they feel like they can lack in personality. Oh my!. When I left St.Louis in 94 I've been searching high and low for Buttermilk sticks. Every state I've visited, I've looked at Donut shops, and nobody make them. I just found them here. Fresh, oh my goodness. I sent pics to my wife & daughter. I wish they had them in Houston, Tx. They don't even know anything about them. Also the Vanilla Long John's another great one.
