My friend & I passed this place while driving through Ivanhoe one day and knew we had to stop by! I am so glad we did. The stars of our meal were the spanakopita and moussaka. The moussaka was so good i can't wait to go back. The pita was warm and fresh and paired great with the hummus. We sat outside so we had a great view of the lake. There was also indoor seating and it was decorated nice on the inside. The service was also incredible. My sister got the gyro and enjoyed it! The baklava was just ok but it was my first time trying so it's possible I just am not a fan. They have a small parking lot but there should be plenty of parking along the lake. The salmon was delicious. However, I retracted my tip and will not return. It was my first time to eat there. I was only one of two parties in the restaurant. I asked upon entering about the authenticity of the Greek Potatoes (which I really enjoy at Santorini's and at The Acropolis) . When my waitress came around I reiterated how I was looking forward to the Greek Potatoes and what would she recommend to go with them. I told her I was not interested in any other carbs so bring me her recommendation with veggies and whatever comes with it that she thinks would be good for me. She came back and said I HAD TO pick soup or salad - something we had discussed that I didn't want. Just the yellow potatoes & veggies if she had any that weren't all carbs. 1/2 way through the meal I asked her if there was a reason I didn't get my Greek Yellow Potatoes: this is where things went wrong. She said she was sorry that that was "her bad." As I was about to leave she said she was going to have to Add Another charge for my potatoes. 5.27 - I gave her my reasonable objection and she still said she was sorry that she forgot them but was still going to have to Charge ME. NEEDLESS to say I will not be back nor will I recommend. It was just me. $24 for the lunch special and I believe I was clear with "what does that include" and "can I forego soup and salad and substitute something else." I reiterated my objections to staff as I was leaving and retracted tip and did not order my cookies. I was calm and polite. But I felt unwelcome and cheated. Nobody tried to fix this. No bread of any kind was included and she was sure of that tho at the time all I had were a few canned green beans in sauce with nothing to use to push them onto my fork. The super flavorful and generously portioned braised lamb that melts in your mouth which comes with potatos or rice and soup or salad and is enough to share between two people ($23.99). 2. Relaxed vibes and service. The friendly vibe feels closer to what you get in Portugal or Brazil (I clearly haven't been to Greece) vs. the U.S.: a little messier and a bit slower, but genuinely warm and down-to-earth. I still need to try their gyros, which have received a lot of praise from other Yelpers. The also have a small selection of Greek wine and beer, and we tried one of each. Super cute spot in Ivanhoe! We sat outside and it seemed like open seating which was a vibe. Came with a group so we split some appetizers which were all so good! The saganaki flambé and the spanakopita were my favorites!!! The moussaka was also to die for- I hadn't tried it before and didn't know what to expect but it was so delicious and I'm glad I tried it! Our server was super sweet and gave us great recs! They do have a little parking lot in the back and some spots in the front but it fills up pretty fast so there's also street parking all along the road. I feel so bad to rate this place so low but it really wasn't the best. The service was okay but atmosphere was very nice. I sat outside and the lights with a mix of , what assume Greek music, gave off such a nice vibe. As for the bad... the food unfortunately :( This place is advertised as an authentic Greek place but when I ordered a greek salad and was brought a plate full of lettuce, the dreams for this places dropped. I got a mushroom/ chicken /onion/ feta pizza and the pita bread (crust) was good, chicken tasked frozen and mushrooms were slimy. My boyfriend got a Gyro, it was very bland, drenched in Tzatziki, and luke warm. As for the tzatziki Sauce it tased like a mayo based sauce instead of greek yogurt. I have been dining at the Greek Corner for over 10 years. I absolutely love how athletic their food is! Everything is amazing. Tonight we started with the Saganaki cheese, which is a must! Then I got the Aegean Salad which is so light and flavorful, you must add the oil and vinegar as well as the Greek dressing, trust me on this. My boyfriend got the lamb kabob with a side salad and Greek potato's. If you want the most amazing potatoes of your life order them! He said his was very good as well. I'm gluten free and have never had an issue dining here and the servers are always helpful. I love to sit outside,it gives you a more atheistic Greek dining experience. What a cozy and delicious spot tucked into Ivanhoe! The decor makes you feel like you stepped right into Greece, with the fun wall paintings and fun little decorative pieces. I'm sure the outdoor dining is great too on a nice night! The menu has wide selection and something for everyone - and everything comes with so much food! We did the olives and hummus as two appetizers, and while I'm not a big olive gal, the hummus was really great. I chose the mousakka as my entree, and not only did it come with a side salad and a full plate, I also got a side of veggies and rice that could have been a meal itself! I can't believe the value for amount of food on some of these dishes. Everything had awesome flavor, and everyone in our group left stuffed and happy. I had plenty of leftovers! Well, to start off the pita that was brought was tough to chew, although the hummus was good and had that authentic feel to it. We had to send it back. The new pita that the waitress brought out was much better because it was fresh. My Lamb Kabob was really good but the rice and green beans didn't compliment, the meal. The rice pilaf tasted like Rice-A-Roni & the green beans tasted like they came from the can. Also, the dressing for the salad was very watered down. Great Scott or in this case 'Great Greek.' This restaurant has it all: authentic Greek flavor, cute restaurant on a lake and wonderful staff. Marcel D was our server and he is really a great server. He paced our meal perfectly and was great about suggesting options as I was sort of indecisive. Presently I am obsessed with Horiatiki which is a lettuce free salad of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, green peppers, olives, and feta cheese. At the Greek corner they call this 'Aegean Salad.' I appreciated they went light with the Greek dressing on this. You get a huge portion which could easily be shared by a couple or 4 people as a starter. The salad is served with a small side of bread. We also ordered the hummus with pita and the hummus was authentic without being greasy. I could have made a couple meals of this along with the salad. I planned to order the Angeleno (Chicken soup) but Marcel pointed out it comes with a sandwich. So I went with the marathon sandwich. Roasted leg of lamb, basted in its own au-jus, thinly sliced, wrapped in grilled pita bread. The texture of the sandwich is like brisket or pot roast but tastes like lamb. This sandwich had juicy meat served with house made tzatziki sauce. My friend got the chicken souvlaki sandwich which is boneless chicken breast grilled over an open flame, served with onions, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce, wrapped in grilled pita bread. I preferred the lamb sandwich because the fillings were tender because of the ai-jus. We had a table full of food so I took the soup home for lunch tomorrow along with the remainder of the salad. I had previously been at the Greek Corner for a Fusionfest special dinner event. It was great as you got to sample the menu and the owner was smashing plates. This can be a fun and exciting place for dinner. It was a quiet Sunday night so the only thing that was smashing was the food. read more

The food is 5 stars the value for your money that you get is great. You will not feel underfed for the price paid. It was great! We have been several times and it's been amazingly consistent!!! Everything we have had has been delicious. We have had moussaka, pastitsio, gyros, Greek salads, souvlaki. All tasty and original. Our time in the Middle East gave us a love for all food Mediterranean and this is the real deal! Not fancy, indoor and outdoor seated, beer and wine. The family is super friendly and always asks you about your meal. Customer service is on point. One more thing, eat Greek when you are there! This is a wonderful place to stop by when the weather is nice. The outdoor seating area is shrouded with plants and little decors, and there's a nice few of the street. As for the food, we 3 enjoyed what we ordered: lamb was well cooked with little gamey flavor, appetizer platter had a wide variety of items to try, and the gyros were full of meat and veggies. I think the mere platter could've been better with an actual salad instead of 2 slices of tomato and lettuce. Service was meh. It was slow and friendly enough, just not very... warm and welcoming in my opinion. We also were waiting a good 30 minutes (ask for Togo box-- 10 min, print checks-- 10 min-- return checks-- 10 min)to close out since the outside dining area began to fill up. So I went with their version of a Heritiki salad AEGEAN Salad with grilled chicken and a side of Gyro meat. This restaurant has such a quaint feel to it, with a very laid back atmosphere, which is part of the reason we love coming. The service is always great! Staff are super friendly and attentive. I docked a star because the food can be hit or miss. I absolutely love the fact that they offer a side salad as an option with your sandwich, for no upcharge! They give you a generous portion, and the dressing is homemade deliciousness. The gyro is where I sometimes have a problem. Half the time it come out piping hot, stuffed with meat, toppings, and tzatziki. Other times, it's only half stuffed and sadly lukewarm. Consistency is a problem. I'll still keep coming though because the flavors are all there and the staff is so wonderful, and just hope that I experience more of the good days than the off days. read more

It was just redone maybe in the last year or so. The location is perfect and you can sit outside and watch things going on around the lake. I've been looking for the best food in the city of Orlando, pretty much for the past seven years of my life. Rumor had it that some of the best Greek food in the city was at this cozy little Greek Corner. So I had to check to see if these rumors were true or unsubstantiated. Parking was a little sparse. I recommend just getting the nearest parallel street parking spot. Just walk. You could use the cardio. We got there Just in time. The space is pretty small as it is, and the lunch rush rushed in right after we got there. We got seated immediately and before we even got drinks there was a line out the door. Close call. Our server was very nice, but very overworked. It was slow going, but hey, it's a pandemic, and we didn't have anything better to do anyway. We ordered drinks and buckled in for the ride. We started off with a classic app of the Spanakopita (A combination of spinach, feta cheese, & fresh herbs in flaky phyllo dough). These were very good! The crispy of the phyllo literally cannot be replicated with any other kind of dough. And the ooey gooey cheese with the freshness of the spinach inside. Man, I could eat this with every meal of the day. Our first entrée was another classic, the Moussaka (Homemade) (Alternate layers of minced beef, roasted eggplant and potato topped with a Bechamel sauce). This was very good, too. A massive serving of the stuff plopped on your plate. It'll never win a beauty contest, but it did win best surprise of the day for me. I haven't had moussaka this good since I was in Tarpon Springs. Recommend. Our Side Greek Salad never came, so when we asked about it, they instead brought out a whole Greek Salad (Fresh garden greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, olives, and feta cheese topped with house dressing). It was giant. But it was good. Crisp greens, plump tomatoes, a tangyyy dressing, and all that feta. I got too full on this while we were waiting on our final entrée. Oops. I never go to a new Greek place without trying the Gyro Sandwich (A mixture of ground beef and lamb, combined with herbs accompanied by fresh tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce, wrapped in grilled pita bread). I didn't get a pic, because I was so tantalized I just tore into it like I was a grizzly bear. But this thing was stuffed to the brim, like a good gyro should be. Meat, meat, meat. Those plump tomatoes, really bite-y onions, and a fine slathering of sauce. Fun, traditional, delicious. The pinnacle of gyro making isn't to make it better than another one, but to just make it perfectly. Achieved here. Oh, and the French fries were those really thick ones with the smooth outsides and the almost-melty potato-ness on the inside. If you know, you know. Overall, yes, this was easily a five star meal. Service was unapologetically slow, so if you'd get butt hurt about that, don't bother, but if you're cool, come here and enjoy. read more

I was really excited to try this place, but really everything just ended up being disappointing. After a few bites of everything, we ended up leaving and grabbing a snack on the road. We tried the Marathon sandwich, which is roasted lamb in au jus on a pita. The sandwich was so dry and bland, I couldn't eat more than a bite or two. They had no sauces other than their salad dressing, when we asked. Not even any tahini, so obviously not making their own hummus. The grilled chicken I got looked like they had slapped a few frozen chicken tenders on a George Foreman, so dry and mealy. read more
