After I was discharged, things didn't end there. A few months later, when my Medicaid coverage ended and my Medicare was about to begin, the hospital's billing department started calling me. I remember the woman on the phone saying, "The hospital expects to get paid." I was still in recovery -- mentally, physically, emotionally -- and that moment felt like being punched when I was already down. I told her to figure it out and ended the call. I never heard from them again. But the experience stuck with me. She found some calcium deposits which is causing inflammation. Feeling very comfortable and at ease with Dr. Kim. She has started treatment and will help on relief of this pain in the right knee. The facilities were disgusting, (including the bathroom) as you can see in my pictures. The therapist I worked seemed overwhelmed and didn't really care whether or not I did the exercises correctly with my injury. It was a terrible experience and felt such a lack of care and safety in a physical therapy session.
