I asked even if the manager approved it, and they said no. They just stared at me as I was telling them why I needed to donate, that im disabled and cant work. They made me fell less than, and frustrated. No kindness or empathy at all. This is ridiculous and not okay. I feel discriminated against, as my (male) spouse was approved, but not (female) me. Not right! I hope that this place actually addresses this issue. DO BETTER! 08/10 update: I called the number left below on Aug 2nd and left a message. I called again the next day and a very empathetic person took my call and went above and beyond to take my statement and info and reassured me that this was not okay and that it would be passed to a supervisor and I would get a call back... Well, its been a week and NOTHING! I'm not surprised, as their customer service was awful at the location, they must have got the, "I dont care about customers" attitude from their higher-ups. This place is a joke. They cant even return a call, let alone treat others with a bit of respect! CSL Plasma, you cant do better, can you? 08/11 update: Got the paperwork they specifically said, went into donate at 3pm (they close at 7pm)and was told I couldn't (AGAIN) because they aren't taking new donors today.
