I was that 1st time mama dreading starting daycare. I had heard horror stories of other facilities and just didn't know what to expect. This place and the staff are the exception! From the first call to the first tour, I felt at home. I've never felt as if they were putting on a show. They are consistent in their care and character. I now walk in there with such a peace knowing my son is being loved and well cared for when I'm away. I love that they don't have lots of turnover with their staff. There is consistency with the faces which helps not only the students, but the parents as well. It also says so much about the owners! I truly think we underestimate the value of quality care and what that looks like. It looks like your child running up to his/her teacher every morning for a hug. We know hugs are very personal and trust must be established. It really says so much about the teachers who establish this trust with their students. It also looks like watching your babe through the window and seeing the teachers sow seeds of character that will last. It looks like your kiddo coming home and doing things you may have never taught them, like sign language, blowing kisses, cleaning up toys and recognizing colors and shapes. It looks like your child being greeted by their name as soon as they walk in the door. They truly care about their students and this is a reflection of that. In addition, they feed them healthy foods which helps me at home incorporate more into his diet with less fuss. I visited so many daycares and read so many reviews, after 2 weeks of taking my lunch hour to go tour different facilities I thought I would never find the right daycare for her. KinderCare Deer Park was the last daycare I had on my list to visit and I wish it would've been first on my list! They are the absolute best and I am forever grateful for Ms. Maria and the rest of the staff! The attention and care that is given to my daughter is well above my expectations. My daughter wakes up every morning ready to go to KinderCare and she stays happy at drop off and at pick up right when we drive away from the center she tells me again "I go back to school" this makes me happy because I know she feels comfortable. This morning I picked up a child running the wrong way down West Little York. He was nearly hit by…read more4 cars, mine included, that I saw. He appeared to be around 2 years old and could not speak to me. After calling the police it was found that he belonged at the Blooming Daisies Learning Center and they did not appear to know he was missing or where he was found. I would strongly encourage you too double check the facility and the training of all adults that are employed at this facility for the safety of your children. The police were called so you can verify the incident with the Harris County Constables office to the extent they were called out to the facility and they were seen going in to check the facility since no one appeared to know he was missing or how he got out in the first place. That baby almost lost his life today and that is not okay when you are paying for someone to keep your child safe.

But when I came to Blooming Daisie's learning center for a walk-through visit one I was impressed about how well they kept the place clean and sanitized due to Covid. A girl was cleaning throughout the day, including the windows and doors. I went to the infant room And saw that every infant had their items that they either played with or sat in. No one has to share. All the teachers were very friendly and got to know my son well. The Director is great. She truly cares about the families that come to the learning center. I appreciate the app where I can talk to the teachers and see when he eats and how much he eats and when he is changed. But really, what sealed the deal for me is that the infant room has a curriculum that they follow. It's not just them looking at your child. It's them working with your child to get them to the next developmental step. You don't have to take my word for it. See for yourself. By taking a visit, I bet you'll be enrolling your kid too.

He's been with Mrs. Stacy from 18 months all the way up until his preschool graduation. He recently took an academic assessment test for school to see where he is. When we got his results back he is in the 97th percentile for math and 98th percentile for reading! My son is a smart kid but it was also with the help, support and continuous encouragement of Mrs. Stacy and others. She has a curriculum that is set to make your child succeed and surpass what they are learning in public schools. My son is proof of it. I can never thank her enough for her encouragement and positivity for my son and for each and every child there. She has always put the kids first and genuinely loves and cares about them.

I wanted a secured place that would provide my son care and education; not just babysitting. Mrs. Stacy greeted me, gave me a tour, and answered all my questions. As the director she's organized and firm which are qualities you want in a director. My son started the academy at 7 months and will soon move to the 18 month class. I'm grateful for the staff there; I feel secure in leaving my son in their care. The teachers are informative, friendly, and take pride and passion in caring for the children. It's a true learning environment! I am just amazed at the skills my son has developed.

My daughter attended this daycare for about a month and in this ONE month, she has a busted lip TWICE, got sick from virus's that were going around (understandable to an extent, but if you're cleaning and sanitizing your facility and having parents come to get their child if they're obviously sick or refusing the child to attend for the day if they're obviously sick, no one else's child should be sick for 3 weeks straight), none of her teachers could explain what happened or why, i never got a phone call about it or was given an incident report for either times and to top it all off, the first time we noticed her busted lip we were told "she came to the daycare" that way and they were just letting us know. I know what my child looks like before i leave her and i wouldve noticed something like that (IF this were this case) but it wasn't and it happened there. I no longer felt safe for my child to attend this daycare so i removed her and let the directors know. On the phone call to let the assistant director know, she sounded sort of nonchalant, didn't ask when it happened or if my daughter was okay, didn't offer to come to a solution or speak to her teachers about it. I always felt uneasy about leaving her there but i figured it was just because it was her first time going to daycare... NOPE trust your gut mamas. Whenever i picked her up she would always cry and run to me and she never looked well kept like they hadn't wiped her nose all day or changed her diaper. These things matter otherwise what am i paying you to watch my kid for ? She attended her new academy today and she loved it from the moment we walked in, forgot i was even there before i left and i can see her on the cameras having fun. I'm glad i made the switch and if you don't want to have to deal with this, you should avoid this daycare and find a place that makes you feel good about leaving your child there. I have a few problems with this particular approach. First off, if I'm paying money for weekly childcare and the directors first option when a child isn't listening is to have the parents come pick them up! Huh?? My 3yo is no saint (whose 3yo is) and she throws tantrums and doesn't listen at times but it is not as if she was tearing the facility up. Numbers were provided to the facility so we can be called, in the event she wasn't listening. Last week I was called by her teacher and I spoke with my daughter and wasn't called again for the day. The director called today and I explained that I would tell to her but all she kept saying was your daughter won't listen to me. The director's English is not necessarily the best as I had a hard time understanding her. When I came to pick up my daughter I was expecting her to be in the front, however, she was in the back with all the kids eating. She (at the time) was not causing any distractions, so if she was that uncontrollable then how was the "licensed" staff able to get her in control. I explained my displeasure to both the assistant director and director. Families work and fortunately I was off to take care of the situation, but in normal circumstances who can mid-morning have the freedom to just leave work. This wasn't the 1st time this happened. And again this was my daughter's 3rd week. I would bet my life that this is not the 1st strong-willed 3yo this facility has dealt with and I'm sure it's not the last. I wished them the best but future potential customers be warned.
