And yes severe, meaning my wife kept having to call an ambulance to come pick me up and they would have to give me Xanax to get me to calm down. I eventually had to go to rehab to get off the Xanax. Here we are 2 and a half years later an still suffering from severe anxiety that has affected many relationships, and work. When I originally told the dr what was happening he cut off all communication with me. The only call I ever received from him was asking me to take down my negative review. I couldn't believe it. I never met someone who was so supportive but the moment he knew he messed up just cut ties with me. Showed his true colors. For the rest of my life I will try and encourage people to stay away from these drugs and more importantly stay away from psych "Drs"

Office staff were nice but misinformed and confused about whether or not they took my insurance. We figured it out in the end. I was frustrated at the issue but the office staff were always kind and patient. Even the sweet lady in the billing office who handles insurance claims was very helpful and kind. The facilities at USMD were immaculate. The waiting area was huge and pretty empty. Dr. Pasala is based out of Arlington but they work out of USMD in an OB/GYN office every Thursday in NRH, which is very convenient. The receptionist at the front desk...she was really nice. I've encountered a lot of horrible and mean front desk personnel in my lifetime, which reflects the rest of the office. But this wasn't the case, she was really nice here at USMD. At my appt. Dr. Pasala's nurse Jennifer was extremely, extremely nice, helpful, and patient. Dr. Pasala was all of the above and also very knowledgeable, thorough, personable, and was very kind. He welcomed questions. And he made us feel really comfortable. I will update after my next visit. Getting a biopsy, which is only done on Fridays at the Arlington office. UPDATE::: The biopsy went smoothly. No bruises, no pain, no complications. Results were on time. Dr. Pasala called to give the results himself and left a VM when I wasn't able to take his call. Even though he is out of the office Thur afternoons, his nurse Jennifer is always reachable and always returned my phone calls! Dr. Pasala & Jennifer are a fantastic Duo!!!

I visited the Neuroparhy and Pain Center in Arlington in January, 2017, after having both knees…read moreexamined, ex- rayed, injected and scoped. Two knee specialists, different clinics, different cities, told me there was no more treatment that would relieve the pain in my knees or improve my mobility. Both suggested knee replacement surgery for both knees. I was faced with an impossible situation. I am primary caregiver for my husband who suffers from advanced Parkinson's Disease. Mobility and falls are primary issues for him. I couldn't see any way I could care for him while a surgical patient. We happened to see an ad for this clinic, and thought it was worth a visit. I took my medical records for a consultation and came away convinced that stem cell injections would be a good course of treatment for me. Two weeks later I had amniotic stem cell injections in both knees. They gave me knee braces to wear a couple of weeks, 4 PT sessions, and addition injections of Hyalgan to lubricate the joints while the stem cells did their repair. After about a month I found I had no more pain. It's been almost 3 years, and I'm still pain free. I even took advantage of their Care Credit arrangement and paid for the treatment in 12 interest free payments. I'm so pleased I took a chance on the Neuropathy and Pain Clinic. If you need surgery you're a priority but after that, get in line. While some aspects of the practice are as good as they were 5-7 years, others have significantly eroded . Scheduling and communication are two of the biggest negative changes - not sure why, actually, just based on recent experience with a surgeon's medical assistant and surgery scheduler. Our experience included not receiving return phone calls when promised, not honoring commitments to appointments as discussed, and these are things that we as patients can evaluate - as opposed to how great the surgery was.

Next issue was addressed by Dr Even. He has a great group, can't speak highly enough about both Dr Even and his PA Ambrosia. Amazing team. Couple years and I'm back with a hip replacement. Once again, Dr Seroyer does an outstanding job. Back on my feet in 2 weeks. Another 2 years roll by and again I need to see Dr Even. Had to have another fusion and they found a small cyst in L3. After recuperating I was good as new. My latest adventure was another spine issue and Dr Even and his team were just as professional as they were the other 2 times. Still recuperating from the last one. Over my 10 years experience, The Surgery skills and desire to get you up and going again are the best there is. As with all offices, changes have been made and sadly not all for the better. Thankfully, the team of Dr Even and Ambrosia are still intact and I would call them again tomorrow if my back needs work. If my other knee and hip need work, Dr Seroyer will get the call. There are issues getting to see the Drs due to schedules and as such, appointments are given to the doctors PA. Thank goodness Dr Even has an excellent PA with Ambrosia. Never worry about visit with them. They are the Best Drs around. That's the reason the PROs use Dr Meister, Dr Seroyer and Dr Even and I fully understand wht.

I have questions about the center. Although it saved my brother's life, he is still on after care…read morefor metastatic prostate cancer with tumor removal from spine which left him with paralysis, neuropathy and forever immunotherapy. He also was diagnosed with Candida, he was treated and tested negative for it but is kept on isolation protocol in which he can't enter the building without being gowned up and kept away from everyone. I am not allowed as caregiver (or anyone else) to attend him on visits. He must wait outside in the weather until he can be gowned up. Therefore, our only access is phone calls. Is it protocol for his meds to be discontinued without consulting him and preparing him ahead of time and not offering a lesser medication. His pain narcotics have all been discontinued with no pain replacement. Is it protocol to call in for a refill and not receive a call back even if it is to say the medication has been discontinued? Is it protocol to not have a patient advocate that we know of? Is it protocol to not be able to get a refill for Prednisone which is a required supplement to be taken with his Abariterone for testosterone inhibition?
