He was highly recommended to me by my acupuncturist who has seen him several times for therapies to heal long standing back and neck injuries. Dr. Wardell has an extremely impressive and well rounded background and education which enables him to understand underlying issues and causes in a way that most doctors do not. I have recommended him to so many people who have chronic illnesses and pain/injuries who are unable to get relief by traditional methods (cortisone injections, PT, surgery). Not only does he have a deep understanding of any medical issues I've asked him about, his approach is always focused on getting to the true cause and healing them vs a band-aid approach used by so many doctors. His treatments / approach are all quite reasonably priced and has helped people avoid major surgeries that would be much more costly and not actually fixing the underlying problem or condition. I feel that Dr. Wardwell has a strong sense of integrity and ethics and treats his patients with genuine respect, never pushing profit over the best interest is his patients. I have been trying to recover from a severe case of Bells Palsy 7 years ago which I was told by some of the top doctors in the field that I would never be able to heal from it, and the only options were Botox and invasive surgery in my face. I'm so thankful that I have found PRP (plasma rich protein injections, same used in "vampire facials") therapy with Dr. Wardwell which has already healed and improved my symptoms in 3-4 months post PRP therapy. My other doctor who has been treating me, who is the head of plastic surgery at Stanford, was amazed as the most recent progress and never heard of PRP being used to to treat Bells Palsy, which is quite sad. I'm getting the word out. If you are looking for a doctor who will truly get to the bottom of your condition and treat you with the utmost care and respect, I highly recommend Dr. Wardwell. Randy on his team is also very welcoming and accommodating whenever possible. Do not hesitate to schedule a consult if you're thinking about it! You won't regret it.

Within 5min of being at Dr. Wardwell's practice, he had imaged my achilles via ultrasound, diagnosed it as partially torn and had a proposed treatment plan - PRP and stem cell injections for my back, achilles and foot. He doesn't just treat the injury, but treats the full body, focusing on the the root cause to prevent re-injury. 4mo later - I'm back to running and am not limited in any activity. More importantly, I'm not hobbling out of bed every morning (which previously, I was resigned to doing for the rest of my life). I'm so appreciative for Dr Wardwell and the huge quality of life he has given to me. Also shoutout to Randy, who runs the office and is such a pleasure.

I've been a GSports patient for two chronic injuries 10 years apart, and I highly recommend GSports…read morebased on my experience. My first injury was a stubborn and very painful foot problem (posterior tibial tendinopathy) that left me hobbling around for a year and a half. I started physical therapy basically out of desperation, but after about 4 months with G Sports, I was completely recovered, was able to return to my prior level of physical activity and exercise, and have not had an issue with foot since. My PT for this injury was Dr. Justin Jellin, who was outstanding. More recently, I came back for a hip problem that didn't improve at all after 6 months of trying to manage it on my own. The injury was bad enough that I had significant trouble driving and doing basic household chores. I have young kids, so I do a fair amount of driving and picking-stuff-up, so it's hard for me to overstate how irritating this injury was. I started working with Dr. Gee in May 2026, who has also been outstanding, and have made a significant recovery so far. In addition to creating a great rehab routine, Dr. Gee has been using shockwave therapy to help with my recovery. It's hard for me to know how much of my current recovery is due to the exercises I've been instructed to do vs the shockwave treatment, since I'm doing both concurrently, but I did notice a huge improvement in my symptoms immediately after the first shockwave treatment. After 3 months, I've gone from significant and constant pain to more like on-and-off local irritation (I'm often pain free for several days in a row). I'm back to driving and my normal daily activities without problems. I'm still making noticeable progress every week and hope to get back to my prior exercise routine in the next few months. The office/front desk team has also been great. They're incredibly friendly and have been extremely helpful when I've had to make changes to my rehab schedule. Overall, I highly recommend GSports for physical therapy. At this point, if I have another injury in the future, I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.

My main symptom is pain with sitting, and with an out of state conference coming up we were motivated to get me well. After only 2 months with Dr. Wu and doing the prescribed home exercises, I was able to take a cross country flight (with one layover) pain free. I had essentially no pain at the conference, and only had pain on the 5 hour direct flight home. This was far better than I had expected. I got too confident after this, and played competitive basketball for a few hours and messed everything up again. I could hardly walk or sit for more than a few minutes the rest of the week. At my next appointment Dr. Wu adjusted me and I felt 50% better instantly and was able to facilitate a 2 hour meeting at work the next day. Today, the pain is still here but we are definitely making progress. The relief gives me hope and the hope gives me motivation. Needless to say, I'm thankful to have found Dr. Wu and Icon Chiropractic.

You can also come in any day between 1-5, no appointments required, first come first served. Not always the type of characters you want to spend much time with. I met Dr. Cohen about 7-8 years ago from a referral because I didn't want the traditional 'crack' treatment; and he was one of the few in the area that offered other treatments such as the Activator, Graston, etc.. Dr. Cohen is an extremely down to earth person that I immediately felt comfortable with. He doesn't do a cookie cutter treatment plan, he listens, he understands, asks the right questions, then after explaining to me what he thinks is happening to me, will start the adjustments with techniques I'm comfortable with. At this point, he has full reign, I trust him with whatever technique he thinks is best. Once he solves the issue (and often times more!) that brought me to him, I may not see him for another couple years. Recently, I experienced severe tendonitis for 6+ months, no help from Kaiser...I then caught one of Proactive's newsletters and Dr. Cohen talked about a new device he was recently working with at The Olympic Training Center. It' called Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT). I hadn't seen Dr. Cohen in couple years so I reached out to him and explained my tendonitis situation. I started the treatments and I immediately felt the change the next day. Things went up and down for several weeks, but it was clear that change was happening. After a couple months of treatments, I'm feeling fantastic! Being in my mid 40's and not able to pickup an empty glass or plate was devastating to me. Dr. Cohen has been instrumental in increasing my quality of life over the years and especially with the recent Shockwave Therapy - life changing. Book an appointment.

I had a partial tear in my hamstring tendon, and he performed a PRP on it. But after a month of still having pain, he said it was clear that the PRP hadn't worked. That in itself wasn't the problem; it's what happened after. I wrote him a (very nice) letter explaining why I didn't feel he had paid enough attention to certain things (an MRI of my spine, for example), but I never heard a word from him. (Though he he did call me after this review was posted...two months later.) Also, it felt like it was pulling teeth to get the office to refer me to a spine doctor. It was like I was just cut loose. So...I'd say the treatment might have been appropriate, but the follow-up was sorely lacking.
