During a pre-travel inspection on my 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ which I flat tow behind my Motorhome my trusted mechanic mentioned that I might want to consider buying new tires in the near future, he assured me it wasn't an emergency but something I needed to keep in mind. Well after I pressed him a little more since having a tire issue on the road would be much more of a problem than buying a new set of tires pre-maturely. Knowing my Jeep probably better than I do and also knowing what I like and my level of expectation he started calling around to see what was immediately available being my travel plans were only a day away. After providing me with a few options he inform me that Tire Outlet had some Yokohama Tires in stock and although it was nearly 3:00 PM they could swap the tires and balance them before they closed the same day. This shop goes above and beyond, they emailed a photo of the tires and quoted the tires and work out the door with a promise of no surprises. This entire process went down over the phone and was executed flawlessly. After doing a walk around I took them for a test drive and found these Yokohama Geolandar X-AT 295/70R17 to be the perfect solution, they look great and just aggressive enough that I am confident they'll perform how I need them to - after dragging the Jeep to the Keys I know I made a good decision. Brakes, rotors were done. A day later they were locked up on the highway smoking. Brought it back and the calipers were put on wrong. That is what I was told. They were supposedly fixed. 3 months later brakes froze again and were smoking. Chevy fixed it correctly. I will never go back. Had to pay twice for the work done. read more

I really don't like to write reviews saying that this was the "Best experience ever" but this was really the best experience if not ever then for as long as I can remember. They truly cared for me as a customer, gave me a great deal on 4 tires that beat every big box tire center on the same brand of tire. I called yesterday in a slight panic, extremely stressed after finding out my truck tire caught a massive screw. I couldn't find a single 275/70/18 wrangler territory m/t in Volusia county while calling around, I called Jean and he got it handled with excellence. Scheduled oil change on-line. The only information they got from me doing it on-line was the time and my first name. Next time I'll call them personally and give them all the information in advance, so they have an oil filter in stock for me. Service manager was very nice. They were going to rotate tires but I said no thankyou because I just had new tires installed a week prior. I did manage to get a coupon on-line which brought the cost down. read more

So, I went to Tire Outlet in Ormond Beach, FL. I saw they opened at 8:00 today and got there 1/2 hour early as I have a busy schedule. I spoke to the person in charge, told him I needed an oil change, and he said okay I will take you as soon as we open at 8:00 AM. So, at 8:00 the mechanic told me to go into the office for paperwork and I went in and there were two other customers inside. He (the person I spoke with @ 7:30) asked me if I had an appointment, I said no, but you said you would take me as soon as you open. He then said well I have to take those with appointments first, he only has one mechanic. I said why didn't you tell me that earlier. He just looked at me with this stupid look on his face. I guess he just thought I had all the time in the world and would be willing to wait for hours. I don't understand how some of these business chains can hire such incompetent personnel. So, if you want aggravation and waste your time, Tire Outlet is the place to go. If you want a stress-free oil change, go anywhere else. read more
