I was referred to Donna by a friend. I had been putting off having a mammogram due to pain and my implants. My entire experience with Donna was amazing. I can't say enough about Thermography first. If your into holistic, natural health Donna can provide that service. I have been going to Donna for years. I had breast cancer 2 years ago and now I go every 6 months to my oncologist/surgeon and Donna in between each of the six month periods to catch anything that might show up unusual. This was my second bout with a scare. The first one back in 2008 was found by Thermography first. First saw an unusual area and followed up than with an Ultra Sound and was confirmed. I was refused treatment than at a major hospital unless I would do a Mamo. I fought it but didn't have a choice the as we do now. The Memo came back normal but the Doctors knew there was a problem and went forward with the surgery. Another lucky moment I call it but very stressful fighting to remain natural and clean of radiation. You couldn't ask for a more professional, knowledgable practice that she has. She's so relaxing and understanding and gives the pt a sense of comfort as we all are concerned when we go in anywhere having to do with possible cancer. I've been seeing Donna for my Thermography for the past 10 years. I have fibrocystic breasts and when I used to get mammograms, they would always have me get an ultra sound as well. I'd be silently freaking out as they'd measure each cyst! That's when I turned to Donna for thermography. After losing my mom to breast cancer, I got serious about my health. Donna and thermography were introduced to me by a few different women that live in Delray Beach. How great that we can be proactive and know we have choices when it comes to subjecting ourselves to mammograms or other invasive procedures like this, and instead choose thermography that is non invasive and so much better at detecting disruptions of cells before they even become cancer or tumors. It's a shame more people are not aware of thermography Donna Barahona has walked the walk and talked the talk and has been through breast cancer which is why she has become a pioneer and the voice for so many women that feel that they're only alternative is mammograms. I'm so glad I found Donna and thermography first! This procedure is far better than a mammogram and detects any negative signs of cancer way before a mammography does.
