We learned a lot from Nicole and she helped us to feel a lot less stressed out and actually enjoy the puppyhood. The obedience class is set up like a monthly subscription, where you can go to as many classes as you want. We end up going about 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes, as it is a great activity to mentally exercise our dog and provide socialization while working alongside other dogs. We also started bringing our dog to their dog day camp 2x a week. Tim was also very patient in explaining the process. Unlike Augie, who was always sweet and extremely mellow even as a puppy, Nala bit us in the face, barked, destroyed things in our home and terrorized Augie to the extent that he would run away from her. We weren't sure we could keep her because she was so badly behaved and seemed untrainable. In the span of 3 weeks, David transformed Nala from a challenging puppy into a dream puppy. She obeys all the commands, walks off leash in our wooded neighborhood, sleeps hours later than when she left and most importantly she is able to play well with Augie who now seeks her out and willingly allows her even to sleep in his own bed. David sent dozens of videos so we could watch her while she was in training and learn the language she was learning from David. He kept in contact and was even able to drop her off and meet our other dog for a walk with Nala. Without Massachusetts Dog Training, we would likely have given our wonderful puppy away and never realized what a gem we had. David helped to uncover Nala's true potential and helped us to realize how smart, sweet and special she is. We will be forever grateful for his wisdom, expertise and love for our Nala.

When my dog continued to run through the fence, I just started leashing and walking the dog. Defeats the point of the fence. They came back out many times with no changes in the result. Finally, they recommended a new collar which is supposed to be for more resistant dogs. I was given this collar by the trainer who came by the house 7 days ago (literally)!! No contractual or informative information provided - ZERO. Now I am getting calls for almost $500 for this collar. After spending money on a fence that is not effective, I informed them that I do not intend to purchase the collar. So, take the collar or refund my money for the fence and deactivate it. I was told that the collar cannot be returned. Why? No answer - just that I had 2 choices: pay for the collar OR pay for an upgraded account. SCAM! Had the trainer told me about the cost at that time OR that I am liable the minute her left - I WOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN A 500 collar! Every place has a return policy given the number of issues and lack of being informed, they literally could just come get the collar. But no. The representatives were extremely condescending and robotic. Waste of everyone's time.

I checked out the website and liked what I saw so I emailed them. The lady who responded was very nice and helpful. I stopped in the following Saturday and talked to the owner, turns out it was his wife who had emailed me back. He spent over an hour giving me tips. The next weekend, I stopped back in to pick up some supplies, he gave me a lot of advice and actually talked me out of spending some money at his store. Very honest. A few days later, we brought out puppy in for a free evaluation. They spent over two hour just with us, told us all the packages they offer, pricing and gave us some more advice. Our dog will be starting obedience training there within a couple weeks. The pricing was very reasonable for the classes and they really seem to know what they're doing and care very much about doing a good job. In addition to the obedience training, there's a small store. They only carry products they really believe it that are made in the US. I found the prices to be pretty reasonable for a small store with all high quality products. I will be buying everything I can there and staying away from the big chain pet stores.
