Such a cute Breakfast/Brunch spot! we tried their avacado toast and slow roasted chicken sandwich and were so impressed with how flavorful they were. The space was very clean, calm and intimate. Staff was super friendly and kind! We got 2 iced lattes and despite the initial flavor being there after a while it just tasted like a regular latte, 9/10 regardless! we will definitely be back (:

I was disappointed none of the seasonal lattes I saw on IG was available. I opted for a hot Cardamom Chai. It's a good and strong Chai - cardamom forward, and spicy from ginger. My friend ordered a Breakfast Sandwich Special, which is a biscuit sandwich with sweet potato spread, fried egg, bacon kimchi - she said it's delicious and filling.

Such a gem in the Tacoma area for a breakfast and cafe spot. The navy blue urban and minimalist ambiance is a perfect environment to study or catch up with friends in. I enjoyed grabbing a bite of their BEC sandwiches and Kimchi Cheesesteaks. Their cardamom chai is also DEFINITELY a must-try as an avid chai latte addict. Their series on TikTok and Instagram on opening up their business is also really inspiring and heartwarming to watch, so I would also recommend checking those out. :)

Stopped by Third Space on a day trip to Tacoma and it was a nice, peaceful respite to our day. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the space is a comfortable, well-lit place. We especially liked sitting in the little couch by the front window. My hubs had a Cortado that came with the traditional side of sparkling water and I had the strawberry agua fresca. Everything was delicious and refreshing. Last but not least, they have a clean, all-gender bathroom in the back hallway. Next time we're in Tacoma, we will visit again!

Third Space always hits the spot. There's nothing like their biscuits. They have that perfect, flaky, savory flavor. I usually get a sausage breakfast sammy because the gochujang aioli is perfection, but sometimes I'll just get a biscuit! It's that good. The staff are always so warm and friendly, no snobby cold shoulder vibes at this spot. Highly recommend!

Love this new cafe in Tacoma! After trying it out for the first time about a month ago, I've been back 2 more times. While it's paid street parking only, finding parking hasn't been an issue and it's relatively inexpensive compared to Seattle. The space is modern and well decorated, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. As a non-coffee drinker, I've tried the blueberry milk, mango-yuzu, and strawberry agua fresa and they were all delicious. My boyfriend loves their creative coffees. We've also gotten the BEC on multiple occasions because it's delicious. Super crispy bacon in between a buttery flaky biscuit. I generally don't like biscuits because I find them dry, but Third Space changed my mind. We ordered the kimchi cheesesteak last time and it was equally delicious in a different way. I also tried the raspberry cruffin which was nice and crisp on the outside but soft and flaky on the inside. Of note, the pastries are from Lobo Bakery. Overall, 5 stars for everything done so well. Third Space is a new favorite and we will definitely be back.

So good!!! The combination of Hot Mama breakfast sandwich and the Maple Sea Salt Latte with almond milk was legit an explosion in my mouth! The flavor was so good! The service was super friendly and very helpful to decide what to order. The ambiance is a vibe. Is a great size space, clean and simple. I highly recommend. Today was my first time and I will definitely be back!

Came here for breakfast and coffee and left wanting to come back! Ducha. Cute spot in downtown Tacoma. The owners have done a nice job making a welcoming and cozy space for breakfast, lunch, and coffee. I had the Hot Mama breakfast sandwich and the Cardamom Chai. The sandwich was the right level of spice with a perfectly cooked, egg, bacon, cheese, and arugula as well as sweet Calabrian peppers and a chili aioli on a deliciously flaky fresh made biscuit. The chai was also delicious and the cardamom was the perfect addition. We will definitely be back!

Visited again after a few months! Still great tasting food & drinks. Always greeted by kind & friendly staff! Lots of seating & outlets for guests visiting/staying to work and study. A very very cute and amazing cafe addition to Tacoma!

Super cute new spot in Tacoma--fresh, welcoming, and the kind of place where the staff make you feel like a regular on your first visit. Everyone I chatted with was genuinely friendly, and you can tell they care about doing things in-house; the space has that tidy, thoughtful feel. I went for coffee (I usually like it very strong), and today's cup was smooth and easy to drink. For my taste, I'd bump the intensity next time--an extra shot or a darker roast option would hit the mark--but if you prefer a gentler cup, you'll probably love it. The pastry case looked tempting and they do sandwiches to order, but I wasn't hungry this round. I'm already eyeing a return visit to explore the espresso drinks and grab a hot sandwich or pastry. Small suggestion: highlight a "bold" or "strong" coffee option on the board so people like me know exactly what to ask for. Friendly team, cozy vibe--looking forward to coming back and trying more.

    Delicious Raspberry and Hibiscus pastry!

Downtown Tacoma really needed a place like this. Especially for the lunch crowd. I was at the end of my rope with trying to treat myself during the work week to eat out during my lunch break. I used to go to other restaurants that worked with the lunch crowd and after getting poor food quality (as in mold in my food) and online orders that seemed to always be inaccurate there seemed few options and diversity left for lunch. I have a pretty heavy tolerance for mistakes involving orders and customer service so it has to be pretty bad in order for me to walk away. So this is definitely a breathe of fresh air. I knew Third Space was doing a soft opening which often means it isn't quite fully operational yet so I waited a few weeks until they were. I got a wonderful Caprese type sandwich (sorry, the exact name of the sandwich I can't recall but it also had meat in it) with some pesto sauce that was absolutely wonderful. I also got a pastry which was Raspberry and Hibiscus flavored that was wonderful! To drink I saw that they had Horchata which I love getting and it didn't disappoint in the slightest. Very good quality food and friendly service will definitely have me coming back here!

I know they do not have regular open hours for just walk in purchase, but rather, they're custom order type business, but I have yet to place any custom orders so I cannot speak to that experience. What made me write this review is how accurate the owner (Brianne) described cake and desserts in the description and the baked goods taste matched 200% of the description. The pistachio cake was out of the world, so was the whoopie pie!!! I got to meet Brianne in person and she was very friendly, and was kind to explain everything about each of her baked goods she had out that day. I've tried their baked goods from pop tarts to cookies to housemade Twinkie and the creation and taste are unmatched. Single serve baked goods were more on pricier side, but well worth every bite. I would definitely order custom baked goods from here, knowing the quality and taste of products from this shop!!! Currently, you can find Spilled Butter baked goods at Cosmonaut coffee, Outer Dark Coffee, and at Tacoma Farmers Market (also known as Tacoma Broadway Farmers Market) from time to time. Enjoy!!!

The cutting cake was so beautiful - literally the cake of my dreams and prettier than any Pinterest photo. We ordered the V GF orange cake with Bavarian cream. The floral arrangements and product displays were clearly designed with great care. All the items are wrapped in plastic wrap to keep them fresh. The shop is quite spacious, and the interesting paintings on the walls really leave an impression. All of this plays a huge role in building up their customer base. Service: The signage inside is clear, and everyone lines up in an orderly way. The staff is warm and welcoming, and they even asked if I wanted my bread warmed up. The order came out very fast--overall, a great service experience. Taste: I ordered two pastries: an almond croissant and a chocolate croissant. The almond croissant was packed with ingredients, with a thick, rich layer of processed almond filling in the middle. The texture was great--highly recommended! However, the chocolate croissant was a total disaster!!! My first bite was actually satisfying; the chocolate flavor and texture were rich. But on my second bite, I realized... it was underbaked. So disappointing.

So as my go to guide I yelped it! And up popped Kusher Bakery. You know I had to go and today we went there. It's an Eastern European bakery, and grocery store with products from multiple Eastern Europe countries. The selections are very good and then there is the bread baked daily except on Sunday. A bonus is the fact all the fresh baked bread can be sliced for you or you can take it home and slice it yourself. Having this service is great. Dark rye, 12-grain, and others that are....... well too many and all looked delicious. There is fresh baked Lavash, soft and delicious and many of the breads were still warm and fresh. The fresh piroshki! Awesome to say the least, Chicken, Cheese, Cabbage, and Apricot were available and hot. Look you can go to the other market on 70th and get very good stuff and pay quite a lot more, or go to Kusher and get a better selection and pay reasonable prices. Yes it is smaller but bigger is not always better and having this small place is a positive. For me Kusher wins hands down. So go, look around and get some awesome stuff.

The pastries are buttery, flaky, and somehow manage to ruin every grocery store croissant for the rest of your life. The coffee is excellent, the staff is consistently friendly, and it's one of those places where it's impossible to leave with only the one thing you came in for. The neighborhood feels safe, parking is plentiful, and the only real hazard is convincing yourself you deserve "just one more pastry." Five stars. My spin instructor may disagree.
