My tattoo at this point was almost gone but I wanted a couple more sessions on it so I had to find a new place. I received Removery ads on my instagram account so I thought I would try them out. I completed my first session with removery and soon after I had black scarring/oxidization on my tattoo. The scarring/oxidization is so bad that anyone who saw it thought I got a new tattoo. I decided I would wait a few months to see if it would go away as sometimes it takes time for your body to clear. It did not go away. I went in to see the nurse who did the work and she said that its normal for a white section of a tattoo to oxidize and I would need more sessions. So basically she was telling me I would need to pay $350 a session for many more sessions just to get my tattoo to look the way it looked BEFORE she started on it. Clearly what happened was the nurse at removery used the wrong laser on my tattoo and she lasered an area that essentially didn't need it because there was nothing there. Like I said, I had two other places do many session on me and this did not happen at the other places. Now Im stuck with a really bad scar/tattoo that looks worse that I am going to need to pay to do sessions on just to return it back to where I started. I believe this removery nurse's lack of training and or experience caused this. What's worse is I have emailed Removery many times to kindly follow up and see what we can work out on this and no one has responded. (mind you this is to the same email address i have corresponded with them before on). I would not recommend going here for your tattoo removal. This is coming from someone who dislikes writing bad reviews. I feel like I tired everything I could to contact removery before coming here to no avail.

The service itself seemed fine, done by a nice female piercer who made the service quick and relatively painless. Flash forward 5 years, and my piercings have still never healed correctly. I'd gone into a piercing shop yesterday to have them taper my left piercing open, before I was able to get jewelry back in after taking them out for a procedure. I only had the jewelry out for two hours, max. The piercer told me that my nipples have never healed correctly because of how they were pierced. The placement was far too close to the base, which I've suspected all along since the right piercing had never stopped giving me issues. (Left one was the one that had closed up and had to be tapered open, interestingly enough.) The tattoo from a past-his-prime artist is one thing, it's just a funny story now. I kinda find the tattoo endearing, even. But a misplaced piercing on a super intimate area? From a female piercer as well who should have known her anatomy better? I don't live in the area anymore, so there's no point in me making the trek to come into your shop to get anything fixed. I'm just updating my review to communicate how upset I am that BOTH the services I got done at your shop got butchered. And it's literally caused me unnecessary pain and suffering. I now have to consider removing my nipple piercings and getting them redone correctly, if I ever want the issues I've had from them to go away. I've also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and many other medical conditions since I got this piercing 5 years ago, so getting them redone or getting any tattoos or piercings at all isn't something I consider lightly- the pain and healing is different for me. That's all. Coming back to "chime in" because ya'll did me worse than I'd even previously realized.

I thought it looked off, but assumed it was just a bad tint. When I got to the car I realized my eyelashes were completely curled in a circle back into themselves. I reached out and Su was kind enough to get me in to fix them a couple hours later. I came in crying and worried my lashes were going to fall out, I was assured it was an easy fix and my lashes would not fall out so we proceeded. In the studio, the fix looked fine, certainly better than before. I was refunded. I think if I had the lash lift with Su originally I would've been pleased with the results and the experience as the studio space is nice. Unfortunately, 2 hours after the fix the lashes started to retain the shape of the first lift again. I reached out again asking what I could do as they had gone back. The text I received back restated what had happened, but did not offer advice. I tried to clarify with a longer description of what was happening and said I was asking for advice. I did not hear from her again. This morning I woke up to my lashes falling out in clumps and the lashes that are left have all broken in half. I'm devastated. I have been getting lash lifts for years and have never had anything like this happen. It is going to take a very long time for my lashes to grow back. I was assured nothing bad would happen in the correction and it was an easy fix. Again, I was refunded, but it's not about the money. My lashes are ruined.

I never write bad reviews but after how I was treated here I had to: Came into this shop for a simple quotation tattoo after knowing several friends/acquaintances who received tattoos here. Unfortunately, upon my entrance into the shop the two artists who spoke with me were incredibly rude and condescending. I came into 3rd street to get a tattoo from Andrea specifically, since I wanted floral with the quotation I was getting tatted. I knew she was a popular artist, so as a walk-in I was open to any artist, but I did want to see if she was available for walk ins or any other dates in October. When she walked up to speak with me she had an attitude and acted as if she had better things to do than talk to a potential client. It was especially irritating that she insisted I was there for a piercing when both myself and my friend stated several times I was there to get a tattoo. (FYI- I had no previous tattoos and am also a person of color. Perhaps that played a factor into our treatment in the shop. We noticed later in the shop that as non-POC walked into the shop they were greeted differently - more pleasantly, etc. But nonetheless...) After being told she had another client to work with and wasn't available until December, Andrea referred us to Sean, another artist in the shop. Initially, Sean seemed pretty nice. He introduced himself and took the sketch I gave him for my tattoo, and said he would see what he could do. After waiting for over 20 minutes while Sean worked at a computer he came back with a piece of paper with printed text in an outline. The image was extremely simple, lacked any of the designs I told him (or that were demonstrated in my sketch I brought in - I'm also an artist), had no floral, and looked as if it could have been created in 2-5 minutes tops! I was told that my tattoo idea wouldn't look attractive and that it wasn't a good idea multiple times before I finally decided to walk out of the shop. He never even told me a price quote for the tattoo. Not only was Sean extremely condescending and negative in his discussion about my potential tattoo design, but there was little to no effort to work with me in designing my tattoo. It was apparent the artists at Third Street simply didn't care to do the design, regardless of how simple it was. I ended up going to a tattoo shop only 5 minutes away from 3rd (Lovesick tattoo), where the artists were not only friendly but put more time into the designing of my tattoo in 5-10 minutes than Sean did in over 20 minutes. If you want artists who are client-focused, friendly, and accommodating I'd highly recommend Lovesick tattoo. I'd never walk back into 3rd street after how I was treated, regardless of how talented the artists are. There's talent at several shops where the artists are also personable and kind to their clients. read more

I had to make a Yelp account just to leave this review after the amazing experience I had with Bill at Third Street Tattoo! I walked in to discuss a new tattoo that I was thinking about. The artist Bill was friendly and professional, and his work is amazing. I've been tattooed by a bunch of other artists in tattoo parlors around the area (and some while traveling) and many artists have an attitude or just seem to push their own ideas on me. Not Bill! He listened to what I had in mind and made sure that we were on the same page. He did offer some suggestions to improve my idea, but he wasn't pushy about them and the tattoo came out better than I could have imagined because of his input! I checked out his previous work in his book and on Instagram and it was clear that Bill has been tattooing for a long time and he's capable of doing all kinds of different styles, all executed to perfection! I ended up getting the tattoo that same day. Bill was quick and made the entire experience fun, and his pricing was more than fair (so I made sure to tip good!). The shop is really cool too. It's a clean and fun atmosphere filled with tons of awesome tattoo art. I have 17 tattoos, and I love them all but Bill's is by far my favorite! I'll definitely be back to get more from him. Unless I decide to get another while traveling, from now on Bill is my tattoo guy. read more

I went in for several piercings but had limited funds at the time. Chris was absolutely amazing in meeting me half way and being extremely professional and kind the entire time. He was straight forward and also very informative regarding the preparations and aftercare. I wanted to have a new cartilage one over a previously messed up one and Chris made sure I was 100% happy with where he had placed the marker tip. He is probably one of the top two piercers I've had the pleasure of meeting. The job was quick and perfectly placed, he was very well mannered and pretty funny too. I've gotten my 1st tattoo here about a year ago and it was pretty decent so I came back. Got a few finger tattoos and they came out terrible! The worst tattoos I ever gotten, the lines are not straight at all and some parts on the lines are fading away already after a week! I kept telling him to fix my lines in my T because it was not connecting. He had ask me if it was okay, and I said yeh it was fine because there was no way he can fix it. Great shop! very clean and all the guys there are really nice and chill. I was getting a piercing and the guy (Chris) was very relaxed and seemed like he knew what he was doing. Also i like the location. I recommend third street. read more

No, he took my skin completely off. I tried getting a hold of him, no response. My tattoo still hurts till this day. The ink is starting to look blown out.
