Came here to redo 2 cartilage piercings in November. I wanted two tiny earrings so Ashley helped me out and showed me some studs that I could order through Hermosa Ink Collective - I went through their interface and paid $250 for two small gold studs. It was important to me to have studs I liked since you have to leave new cartilage piercings in for several months before you can remove them. The piercings healed nicely and my experience in the shop was nice, but fast forward just a few months, and the small diamond fell out of one of the earrings. I called the shop to ask if there was anything they could do for me. Each earring cost $125 and I would hope that I could expect it to last for at least as long as it takes for the piercing to heal. I spoke to a woman who told me she'd speak to the owner and get back to me. A week later, no contact so I called again. This time I speak to a man who tells me that Ashley no longer works there and that maybe I could try to reach out to her. I continued asking if there was anything the shop could do, so he suggested that I go in. I went in that same day only to be greeted by somebody else who could only offer to sell me some more jewelry to which I declined. Have intended to update this for the longest time... First of all, Gerard made things so right on my tattoo (like, a year ago), and because my life immediately became crazy personal/professional turmoil, I never posted and appropriate review to make amends for the unfortunate experience I had previously. Shame on me. During the time of Covid, did not have any tattoo touchups so I can't speak to what things have been like since that time so I will jump to the new totally different service that I experienced and that was micro-blading of my brows with fabulous Kika. Was so excited to have a free consultation because I have been very curious about getting this done. Kika was on time & after a very thorough Covid protocol, she explained to me and showed me photos as well as a video of what I could expect. Was super excited and scheduled for the microblading. It took about three hours and was not terribly painful. The first hour is to properly set up how the micro blading is going to be done (complex mapping - our girl Kika is extremely professional and even has an app to make sure she has balanced all the lines correctly!!), called mapping. Then it's time for a quick bathroom break and about two hours of the procedure. The first pass is done without anesthesia. After that a little topical numbing is put on and it's not too bad at all from that point. Actually the whole thing is not too bad. Sent home with a handy aftercare kit and a very cute information card. Added a week later: not only do my brows look amazing, but the charming and sweet, and super artistic Girard touched up my tiny finger tattoo. Adore him.
