I shared with Anastasia my vision of what I wanted and she delivered beyond my imagination! I know I wanted a fine line floral piece on my forearm, with poppies and Vietnamese flowers (blossoms). It was easy to speak to her during the idea/consultation phase over email, she was super accommodating! I was a little hesitant since there were no Yelp reviews, but she has been tattooing for many years at other established parlors, and finally pursued her dreams of opening her own shop. Don't let this stop you from booking with her! Anastasia was extremely warm and friendly upon my visit. Her new shop is extremely clean, modern, with great lighting and has a calming effect. She was really patient when I didn't know right off the bat the sizing and placement of the tattoo, and printed multiple stencils for us to try on my skin. During the actual session, she was focused, precise, yet gentle. This isn't my first tattoo, and it was a very pleasant experience throughout. I've been looking for the right artist to do my half sleeve for months till I came across Anastasia on Instagram. This studio is newly opened and so beautiful! There's plenty of street parking or a nearby lot available. It's so clean and calming, perfect for a long session. Ross is so nice and knowledgeable, and really took the time to set up the placement just right for my tattoo! Always made sure I knew what was coming, and was very nice about breaks to stretch out and grab a complimentary snack. I got a fine line tattoo, and truly the lines and shading are so thin it's unreal! It's gorgeous! I'll be coming in for a complimentary touch up just to check on things after it's healed. I found Anastasia through instagram and I can honestly say the best decision going to her for my full sleeve and first tattoo. My whole experience was great. You start by reaching out to her about the type of tattoo you want and you communicate through this portal where you send her your ideas and she gives all the info you need. (payment, reminders of appointment, cost, and after care) The location of the shop is in a nice area and when you walk in its really welcoming. She has snacks and drinks if you want them while waiting for your stencil. There is wifi as well. Everything in there is super clean and modern. She really wants you to leave happy with your tattoo. She takes time to make sure you love the placement of the stencil. While she is working on you she checks in to make sure your okay through the whole thing. I have seen the work she has done and I was expecting something more elaborate as well as delicate. I wasn't looking for anything floral but it's what I ended up getting. I regret not getting a more experienced tattoo artist. She wasn't transparent about the cost. In the text exchange I was told that it was $150-$180. It's ridiculous that a tiny tattoo cost more than $200 by an inexperienced(less than 5 years)artist. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The experience made me more drained than anything else.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was my first tattoo and the needle was relaxing compared to the design process. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think my experience would have been better if there was design transparency and clear communication.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I think she's a very kind person and I do think she's creative in her designs.
