I really can't understand the low rating on this place. Yea it's crowded, yea it's loud, yea the waitstaff isn't perfect but it's a great place. There were a lot of kids, but you couldn't notice them with the loud music (I had my almost 2yo with us). The waitstaff was pretty good- I had to remind her once or twice of something, but the place was packed on a Saturday night so it was perfectly fine -she did better than I could. The food was pretty good! It's not a 5-star restaurant but neither is this place, so don't expect it. For pub food, they have a large menu (and kids menu) and everyone seemed to enjoy what they got. The portions seemed a bit small but once you ate them, it was a case of "my eyes were bigger than my stomach." The food came out hot and fresh and the beer was cold! I would totally frequent this place if I lived closer. I do wish the music was slightly lower but it is what it is. Overall a great experience.

Love that they do beer flights, can pick six. Love that they have sours. Clearly a very local and clicky type spot, which is fine-ish. But when at the bar maybe check in on people once in a while. Very expensive for what it was, would go back maybe for an event, wasn't bad. Just can do better for cheaper elsewhere and be served quicker despite like two other people being there but they were too busy chatting...

This is the second to go order that we have had an issue with first time half of our order was not in the bag had to drive back to get it. This time order a hangover burger med rare. Get mostly raw burger and no hollandaise sauce on it. Not even going to waste my time this time in going back.

Where do I begin? My beer tasted like either the bottom of the keg or gas line issues. (2nd beer was from a bottle.) Our food came out at all different times so some people were done eating while others were still waiting. All we got was , sorry, kitchen backed up. The pizza had no sauce in the middle of the pizza....was just around the edges and 2" in. You've got to see the pic of the celery I got!!! And finally, the smoked wings had this spice blend on them with one ingredient I just didn't care for. Maybe cinnamon or nutmeg...just not sure but wasn't a fan. Not my type of bar.

The service was excellent and quick. The menu had a large and great selection. Food came quickly, was hot and delicious. My teenager commented "this is some of the best food I've ever had." We will definitely be back!

Went to the Thirsty Moose for the first time. We are not in the area, but needed to stop to eat en route back from to NH to Mass. There is a huge selection of food and beer. I can't remember the last time I saw so many taps! The french onion soup was very hearty. I liked the croutons instead of the usual bread. I had a cheese pizza which was really good! My husband had a peanut butter hamburger. He wanted to experiment. He said it was okay. I tried some of the fries and they were really tasty. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. It was a bit loud and distracting with all the noise from the TVs, but we could still hear each other at the table. Suggestion - please please put hooks on the bathroom doors. There is nothing more annoying than having to put your handbag on a dirty bathroom floor. And where would someone put a coat? Or leftovers.

The food was delicious, but the seating is more like cafeteria style which I'm not a fan of.

We…read morewere at an event nearby on a Saturday afternoon and decided to stop by the quaint and beautiful center of Milford NH. Ogie is just off the oval at the center of town. We went in and it was just a very friendly welcome. Airy and spacious, with a high tech beer menu board that visually depicts what they have and how much is left. There are two main spaces for seating, the main storefront and next door, connected by an archway. The beers are superb. As an IPA lover, I started with their DIPA Alien Autopsy and followed it with the Sasquatch, a single IPA. My other half had the Blueberry and the Festival King, an imperial pumpkin ale. All were amazingly good. Ogie has a First Responder and Military Board where you can pay forward a drink so those folks who keep us safe, can enjoy a libation. I thought that was a class detail. The clientele was amicable, easy going and obviously, local. This is a unique place with first-rate beers.

For apps, the Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls were crispy and packed with flavor, and the housemade beer cheese with tater tots was perfectly balanced. I tried two entrées: the Chicken Caesar Wrap, which had a surprising crunch from roasted breadcrumbs added by the chef (Johnson & Wales alumni), and the Granite Town Flatbread, where the jalapeño jam gave just the right sweet heat to the layered toppings. For drinks, I tried the robust and smooth Patchwork Palace porter. There were also lots of IPAs to choose from (but I'm not an IPA fan), and for non-beer drinkers, they brew their own hard seltzer, customizable with flavor syrups. The unflavored seltzer had a subtle sweet citrus note, which Bill, the owner and brewer, explained comes from the fermentation process. I also love that they locally source ingredients and have a "Pay It Forward" board, offering free drinks to first responders and military. It really shows the kind of community-minded business Ogie's is. If you haven't visited yet, it's worth checking out. The vibe is relaxed, the food and drinks are excellent, and there are board games to enjoy. It's a great spot for a date night or hanging with friends. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try their newest brews! Kitchen hours (Feb 2026): Thurs-Fri 4-9, Sat noon-9, Sun 1-5. Take-out is available, and you can buy cans of their craft beer to enjoy at home. Support local. We want places like this to stick around.

It's what I…read morewould deem a hole in the wall, (only because it is not a large venue) but it has excellent service and great food. We started with some cocktails and the cheese curds, for Andres we had the Smashburger and an order of duck tacos. We do come toting along with a six-year-old so with a lack of a kids menu or a simpler eats, we went with the cheese flatbread (note to anybody reading it comes without sauce. It is literally cheese on a flatbread). We can't fall places for not being kid friendly, but it would've been awesome to have even just a grilled cheese option, but that's our problem for another day. Sadly, it will limit when we can plan our future visit visits. The service was great, friendly and attentive, in the ambience, cozy and warm. I travel quite a bit and my husband did deem this a place that "I could come and sit at the bar when I'm by myself " So personally, the only thing I would say is they could use a few more smaller plates that could thicken as child, friendly entrées... or just add a tad bit more options into the mix.

Very approachable menu with a few sections but a handful of options in each section. From the starters section, we shared the duck wings and the fried cheese curds. Surprisingly, a lot of duck featured on the menu. Not something I typically see at a casual taphouse. Duck wings were great. Ultra crispy and card with mandarin wedges for a perfect compliment. The fried cheese curds came out piping hot. Some of them seemed to pop and the cheese oozed out leaving some hollow curds. The ones that maintained their integrity and contained the cheese were superb. We shared the Korean fried chicken sandwich as our main. Super crispy and vinegar forward. Came with spiraled potato wedges which was an ideal accompaniment for a few beers. Service was quick and accommodating. Food came out quickly too. A couple TVs to catch an event. Great spot!

Walking in 7 minutes after opening, this place was already packed. Full of Patriots fans hooping and hollering to the end of the fourth quarter. Every appeared in a merry mood, and everyone knew each other it seems. Service here was great. Our waitress whipped around the room with finesse and speed, working the bar and tables all by herself. She was to the point but pleasant. The beers are ok, but they aren't anything spectacular. An average selection of nearby beers of all varieties. Going to other breweries in New Hampshire, I know that this state can produce good beers. Perhaps they just had a mediocre selection the week I was there. We ordered a medley of items and most of it was hit and miss. In the sampler, the pork cracklings were decent, although dinner pieces were hard to chew since they turned into a dense fried bit. The fries were ok, but standard. The tator tot was actual pretty good, but there's this sweetness and texture that makes me think of pumpkin? That could be upsetting to some. The chicken tenders are ok, but the breading isn't seasoned or exciting in texture. It felt like how I would fry chicken at home with only one coat of breading. The pickle chips were good, even though they were not spicy at all. If they called these paprika coated chips, then I would agree. But texture wise, they were actually crisp and not super watery. The pulled pork tacos are ok, but they rely more on sweet barbeque sauce more than anything else. The tortillas are subpar in flavor, but sturdy enough to hold everything together. The veggies slaw did add some nice acidity though. The wedge salad here is terrible. I should have looked up what others posted before I ordered it. It was a literal wedge of plain iceberg, with all the other ingredients and fixings dumped in the middle. The stuff in the middle was ok, but nothing felt harmonious. Just a bunch of salad ingredients added to a giant paper tray. It felt like a waste of 9 dollars for what was lazy preparation.
