    flight of beer

Service was good and the beer was decent--some better than others. This place is either 3 or 4 stars. What i didn't like was that a live band was setting up inside and i saw a bucket of ear plugs on the bar. the sound check got loud, so if live music is your jam, this place is probably a 4 for you. (not for me!)

This is brewery #195 for me. I'm rapidly closing in on 200. Who do you know who has visited that many individual breweries? No one? That's what I thought... Thirsty Street is right next door to Angry Hanks so I can see a lot of spillover on busy nights. Having two breweries right next to each other is cool. TS is in an old brick building and had a laid back vibe. No real food here but they do have soft pretzels, nachos, beef jerky, etc. There is plenty of seating, which is good since they have about 20 beers on tap. I went with four starting with the Rimrock'd amber ale in honor of SWPFTD who could not be with me on this trip. I came through Billings with my family on vacation last year about this time and being here without them put me in a bit of a melancholy mood. Hopefully these beers will cheer me up! The amber was a nice amber color of course with great caramel flavors. Yes, SWPFTD would like this one. Next up was Hopster Doofus which I really ordered just because of the name. Yes I enjoy hazy IPA's but the name got a chuckle out of me. Very fruity on the nose with a consistent hop bitterness that lingered on my tongue. The Vanilla Mazevo vanilla latte stout on nitro was next. And that was a mouthful. Not just the beer I mean, but the label. I had no idea what "Mazevo" was but apparently it is a local coffee company. I definitely got coffee from this but vanilla was a little harder to find. I was kind of like that gif of John Travolta wandering around looking confused in Pulp Fiction. This was still a good beer...wait, you know on about my fourth taste as I'm still typing this I found the vanilla. That just shows you I do my reviews live. Last for today is Big Bison Stout. I appreciate that they use the term bison instead of buffalo. Roasty, chocolatey and just what I expect from a stout. Tasty all around. Just a good lip smacking stout. If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! https://www.yelp.com/collection/-8iscFkpiiCI563-FDfwGg and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Yes, you will need to read into it a little to get the joke but I have confidence in you!

Great brewery near downtown Billings. Walkable to restaurants and there is another brewery next store. Huge windows let natural light into the place. Windows face the street so you can watch people or cars go by. Huge space too. Plenty of space for a large group. The side room also has table shuffle board. Plenty of beer options, especially their seasonal selections. There is a small parking lot, but still plenty of street parking near by. This place is only a brewery with light snacks available for purchase. Week days can be quiet, so could be a good place to work for an hour or so. Overall great space, location, and most importantly beer.

    Outdoor area.

Great location with a rustic yet modern feel on the inside. The staff are well informed and polite. They have the perfect balance of being attentive while respecting your experience. Great beer selection with a dog friendly outdoor area. The pretzel wasn't the best. But who goes to a brewery for the pretzel anyway ;)

Was nearby (in Billings, MT) and decided to stop by Thirsty Street. Glad I did! I had some great tastings of their beers (Gutsy liked several). Really liked Trail Junkie, Good Times, the fabulous Mountain Margarita (rude Gusty), and Lemon Drop. They rotate different beers in. They also have a "mug club" if you are local. A husband and wife team own and have been operating for over 7 years. Jerry served me and made sure I had all I needed. If you are nearby, give it a try. Enjoy!

Very kind staff!!! Crowler canning machine and happy to can anything on tap! (I got 7-they offered me a drink while I waited) They have a great flagship selection and most of their seasonal when I went were sours which are my favorite!!! (Also why I took 7) Plenty of table seating for a happy hour crowd. It appears there is also a mug club!

    Nice open floor plan

Really enjoyed the beer I had here. Wish they had a better/more private patio. Or maybe even just adding more tables would be beneficial.

We ended…read moreup here because we needed something open late and their kitchen was open till 11 which is not common it seems in Billings. If you're an iced tea drinker, I highly recommend getting a spiced iced tea. I was skeptical at first, but it's actually just cinnamon iced tea and was lovely. I had the nachos with ground beef. The sauce was not a generic out of the can sauce. the chips were crisp and the ground beef was well seasoned. The only complaint I have if I have to have one is that the jalapeños were very thickly sliced and took over the entire flavor of any bite they were in; a smaller dice on them would've allowed for the jalapeños to be spread out over the entire nacho and not overwhelm the rest of the flavors. My companion had the mushroom Swiss burger with fries and said they were both a solid burger and fries no complaints. Wheelchair accessibility: accessible parking across the street with a crosswalk; the front door is heavy so you're gonna either need help or be able to open a heavy door and there's actually two doors but plenty of room to maneuver between. the path of travel wasn't bad and there's wheelchair accessible seating in the back of the restaurant. There is no wheelchair accessible seating in the bar area. The bathroom door was light .The accessible stall in the women's bathroom had a grab bar, but there was not sufficient turning radius and the soap was up a little high.

Restaurant was about half full of diners and there were several servers on staff. We were seated quickly and our very friendly server attended to us just as quickly. Seasoned very strongly and matched well with the au jus. Fries were crispy and delicious as well. One of my employees ordered the bacon wrapped meatloaf. I didn't try that but did take a few of his brussel sprouts - easily the best brussel sprouts I've ever had. Rich and buttery but still with a nice crunch from the char. So good! Other guy ordered the Sockeye and it looked perfect (he ate the whole plate so I know it was!) Vibe was cool also. Dark woods, cool lighting, comfortable seating. And I HATE doing that. In my 40 years of life, I've done it maybe a handful of times. Their French onion soup is bomb! And their wine list is good. Not the most amazing list for me to pick from. But it has some decent options. Just nothing called out to me. I don't think I'll be back. My husband enjoyed his meal, and felt bad I didn't like mine. I'm thankful he enjoyed it. Esp since he works so freaking hard. So that was a plus for me. Upon leaving I found out I'm not the only one who has sent back the "BLT," and it's a known issue. Clearly the chef or the owner need to make a change.
