I can't say enough good things about Lindsey! We recently brought home a rescue that I knew would be challenging but had no idea how hard she would be. She was food aggressive, she was aggressive with our family - bit all of us at least once - attacked our other two dogs and literally went to the bathroom wherever she preferred. I'm not one to give up on dogs but knew that if we kept her we needed help! We decided that if we were going to work with one of our dogs - we'd also work with our other naughty dog to retrain him of his bad habits. IN THE FIRST SESSION we saw significant changes in their behavior! She is so knowledgeable, so professional, and she got my kids involved so they know what to do! We just finished our last session and I'm so grateful to her for all of the tools she's given our family to help our dogs be the best behaved versions of themselves! Lindsey is the real deal and you'll be hardpressed to find a better training and sitting service in the Chandler area. We moved away earlier this year and were so SO bummed to leave such a great training and caretaking provider. All of her team is prepared to deal with difficult dogs and help reinforce good behavior, so all of our lunchtime visits included built-in training for our little pups. The team also sent photo updates and left detailed report cards every single day without fail. Lindsey herself is such a boss when it comes to training and is so so patient and welcoming. All of her own dogs are super patient too and were incorporated into the training sessions to help our little pups get used to being around other dogs. There's not enough good I can say about TLDSH. I was brand new to AZ and found them from googling dog sitters in my area. I had a French Bulldog with health issues and one of the side effects was aggression and they worked with him and loved him regardless. They have been a true support system with all the health related questions and were there for me in ways I will never forget when he suddenly passed. They were more than a peace of mind in the middle of the day. Lindsey spent hours on the phone with me talking about his health and being my shoulder to cry on when the worst day came. I cant say enough about Lindsey and her training techniques. She patiently listened to all the issues I was having with my Pittie and honestly I was so close to having to re home his due to his outrageous strength and will to be the BOSS! I was constantly bruised and had to wear long sleeves from him mouthing me when he didnt get his way or pulling me like I was driving a dog sled. There are lots of dog trainers out there but there is only one Lindsey. She not only talks the talk (and there is LOTS of talk out there) but she follows it up by walking the walk. I took my extreme fear dog Dublin to her and she worked with us for a few hours, teaching Dubs to SIT and teaching me to help him find his happy place. She even taught me some things about his body language that after living with him for seven months, you would think I would know but I didn't. Lindsey is EVERYTHING you need/want in a trainer. Lindsey was a lifesaver when I discovered my new rescue dog was extremely reactive around other dogs. He would turn into a 65-lb terror even from a distance. Lindsey identified the root cause as anxiety, not true aggressiveness, and trained from that perspective. Lindsey's thorough, patient training with Max (and me!) helped him calm down, trust his humans, and gain street etiquette. I have never met anyone who understands dogs as well as Lindsey does. I have been using Lindsey and the crew at TLDSH for a few years now. We've done training for my Husky mix with Lindsey and got her a new walk and also taught her how to not act like a crazy person when she sees other dogs or cats. I didn't think my Aussie needed any help but I've always brought home tips to work on her too. I've also used TLDSH for overnight visits when I'm on long trips because my girls do not do well at doggy day care. And it's nice to come home to them when I've been away for 2 weeks instead of getting them during daycare hours. I love the picture updates and the various sitters have always been super helpful. Lindsey and her dog sitters watched my crazy cattle dog Zoe while I was out of town for two weeks. The only way to summarize her service is awesome. They were all nice, professional and they didn't have any issues with Zoe. Which in and of itself is amazing. I was worried she was going to be too much trouble for anyone to watch for me. They sent daily updates and photos to my phone so I didn't have to worry about her at all. When I returned home from my trip Zoe even had a stack of report cards on the counter so I knew exactly how everything went. They even left her a Christmas gift of dog biscuits. So happy I found these ladies. If I could give This Little Doggie Stayed Home 6 stars, I would. We finally had the opportunity to use their services, recently, when going out of town for several days. Now, Lindsay has known our dogs for a while, due to her volunteer time where we wound up adopting our pups from so to say she was excited to watch them would be a huge understatement. We contacted her about possibly using her services for the time we were going to be gone, and she jumped at the opportunity. We had a preliminary meeting with her, to talk about the habits/routines that the dogs have currently been in and when we thought would be good times for her to come and visit/walk/play with them. During the initial consult, we never felt rushed as if she had places to be, or as if we were boring her with every little detail we could think up regarding our dogs. We had seen that she has been working on what she calls "This Little Doggie Got Trained" where she works on dogs' "leash skills" to make them better and more enjoyable while on walks. We asked her if she could work with ours, since they were pretty bad when we would take them out, and because of that we wouldn't take them out as much as we should have. "No problem" she said, and she talked to us about how she corrects poor leash behavior and we were excited to see what kinds of changes she could make with walking them for a few days. The first night she visited, she sent us a text and told us that everything went well and that she played with the dogs until they were all worn out. The following day, and multiple times throughout the next couple of days, she would notify us how well the walking was going, how they're behaving being home alone overnight, if they were into any trouble, etc. When we got home from our trip, we found little doggie "report cards" that went into detail about everything that occurred and what time of day things happened. These were nice because it let us see exactly what went on, rather than having no contact or very minimal contact about what happened while we were away. The next morning we met with Lindsay and she showed us how well the dogs were on leash now, and we were pretty amazed at the changes we saw. No more yanking or wandering all over the place on the walk. Walks are now "walks" , not "sniff around and pee every 5 seconds" sessions. We will definitely be using TLDSH any time we go out of town or are going to be away from home for an extended period of time and can't have our dogs with us, and I would encourage anyone else looking for any type of "pet sitting" in the area, to contact Lindsay at TLDSH. read more

Lindsey is the best! I went threw a few different trainers with my dog before working with Lindsey. He didn't click with any of them and their techniques just weren't what my pup needed. I cannot begin to explain my level of apprehension about leaving my two dogs. We just moved here and interviewed a couple of dog sitting companies. Something about Lindsey drew me to work with her....her ease of explanation and love for animals came through, literally over the phone. Then I met with her and it was apparent that This Little Doggie Stayed Home was our new pet sitter! We flew to Texas for our daughter's wedding and I hated to leave the dogs! I know, sounds obsessive. And it is. But with every visit I received a photo via text of my boys with an explanation of what they were doing at that time. I knew by the explanations of activity that the sitter actually was interacting with my dogs, not just performing the task of feeding and watering.
