Absolute nightmare of a trip. My family and I traveled 9 hours by car to Ocean Bay Club. On the fourth day my daughter noticed bites all over her body, we proceeded to check the box spring where we found a colony of bedbugs (at least 3 dozen bedbugs). As required we immediately called emergency services which did not come out to our condo until 12:00 pm the day after. The next day my daughter and wife proceeded to visit Thomas Beach Vacation headquarters, staff told my daughter and wife that WE brought the bedbugs the unit, my daughter and wife were in shock. Later that day the exterminator came out and confirmed my daughters bedroom had a serious bedbug infestation, they also found several bedbug droppings in another bedroom. We then reached out to Thomas Beach Vacations who provided us with no realistic alternatives for places to stay, later that day we spoke with an individual by the name of Roslyn, who was rude and aggressive with my daughter on the phone, Roslyn ordered us to leave the residence within the next 24 hours (mind you we still had 2 days left on our lease). This was a clear move on Roslyn's part to get us out of the unit ASAP so they could perform a quick patch up job extermination, and move the next victims into the condo. Roslyn indicated on the phone that she would be consulting with the VP and getting back to us, this was our last phone call Thomas Beach Vacations, they have still (2 days after leaving) not got back to us. We were left with no other option than to stay in a bedbug infested condo. Later that night my daughter experienced an allergic reaction from all bedbug bites, we rushed her to urgent care. To this date, Thomas Beach Vacations has taken NO ACCOUNTABILITY for this infestation that ruined our trip, no compensation offered, nothing whatsoever. We scheduled our family trip earlier at the beginning of the year with hopes of an enjoyable time after experiencing several deaths in our family during the pandemic. We have been coming to the Carolina's for 24 years. The last 3 we moved down to the Cherry Grove area. We stayed in the Bermuda Run complex and our stay was quite nice. We rented unit B401 the last 2 years and another in the building the year before that. This unit is well maintained, good pots and pans and the furnishings quite comfortable. We had one problem with a bi-fold door being broken and maintenance was on top of it with one quick phone call. The pool is fantastic and while the beach is a block away, I like the pool. They have a pool house that our family used throughout the week to have family dinners. The unit has a nice balcony and a nice cross breeze with views to the fantastic sunsets. The staff at Thomas Beach is always pleasant and responsive. I would recommend using their phone system on the day of check in. For us, they called the moment the unit was ready which is cool. Check-in and Checkout couldn't have been easier. If you plan to go to the Cherry Grove area in North Myrtle Beach, this place far and away out delivers the huge hotels up the road. You can easily relax by the pool without getting up before daylight to stake out your lounging chair. read more

My family has stayed in NMB every year for as long as I can remember. We rented the same ocean front house for 37 years until it was torn down to build a high rise condo. We switched to Century21Thomas in NMB now known as Thomas Beach Vacations, and have been with them ever since. We have had the opportunity to stay in many different oceanfront condos in the Crescent / Ocean Drive sections of NMB. Thomas has some of the best vacation rentals out there. We have stayed at the Ocean Garden Villas, Costal Dunes, The Wellington, Sea Castle, Tilghman Beach and Golf Resort and this past week we stayed at the Sea Cove Villas. I would recommend all of these condos. They were all very nice, clean and well equipped with all the necessities. The staff at Thomas Beach Vacations are very helpful and friendly and will find you exactly what you are looking for. We just got back from a weekend vacation and had the pleasure of using Thomas Beach Vacations to make it a success. This was our first time using Thomas. Their website was easy to navigate, and when I called to ask a few questions about the rental they were amazing! The nice thing is what they quote, is the price. No secret add-ons, no hidden fees, etc. The house we rented was ocean front, with amazing views. We knew going in that it was an older unit, but that did not matter. It was clean, in good repair, and fit the needs of a very large family perfectly. The only issue was the neighbors took over all the parking which prevented us from being able to park. I called and left a message since we checked in after hours, and they called us back within the hour. I was able to find the occupants and got it resolved, but they were on top of it. We will definitely be going back next year, and once again use Thomas Beach Vacations. Thank you to all the staff for making this a much needed and amazing vacation for a family of 13. read more

UPDATE to the Review I posted on 7/10. The issues were eventually escalated to Jim Goggins, manager of Guest Services for Thomas Beach Vacations.  Once he got involved the issues were addressed.  The owner of the pool company came to the house and personally cleaned the pool.  One of his employees followed up the next day to check the pool and cleaned it again.  The ants were sprayed by exterminators twice which definitely helped. Jim followed up with me several times to ensure the issues were resolved or provide an update detailing how/when they were scheduled to be addressed.  Once he got involved things got done.  Finally, he provided a generous compensation for us.  It was unfortunate we had the issues and it took 2 days to have them resolved, but Jim was great to work with and got things done.  Bottom line, we would rent from Thomas Beach Vacations again. You may not meet a more smug self absorbed entitled out of touch people than the people that work here....where it's the rental side or the landlord/housing side, they don't care about ppl AT ALL. They are the property managers of a multi-unit in N Myrtle, that they left go so badly NO INSPECTIONS that an owner was allowed to accumulate a ton of garbage and debris in his unit, which in turn caused massive insect issues for the entire complex. They have purposely ignored conditions at this and many other units, and are geared to CAPITALISM solely. One of the veteran female leaders at this locations husband was formerly wrapped up in the drug trade, and they've tried to bury that info too long. DONT TRUST THIS GROUP read more

We've been renting from Thomas Beach Vacations for over 30 years. There is a good reason why we continue to do business with Thomas even while there are several other rental firms we could do business with. Thomas stands by the renter when regular maintenance items are needed, when mechanical necessities such as air conditioners, refrigerators, dish washers go dead in the middle of vacation week. Thomas keeps properties which are nice to rent, have abundant amenities, and makes the check in and check out easy and convenient and best of all, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and take a genuine interest in seeing your vacation is pleasant and enjoyable. read more

I stayed in Fairway oaks, Town house 57B. It was 3 bedrooms 2 and a half baths. Cable, Wi-Fi, patio, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen. The town home was more than I expected. Pictures didn't do it justice. I was very pleased with my stay. Only complaint is they didnt have asaigned parking so many times we wp4uld come back and someone had taken our spots right out front. This was inconvenient when coming back from the grocery store or a shopping trip. Other than that everything was spot on. If I dont stay at Fairway Oaks again I'll stay in another place offered by Thomas Beach Vacations. read more

Our family has rented from Thomas Beach Vacations for several years. We try to rent the same condo each year. The condo is always great, clean, and always looks incredible. We always enjoy the view from the oceanfront condo. We noticed that some of the features in the condo and the overall outside of the building had been updated, which made it even better. We stayed at Hyperion Towers Unit # 605 - absolutely fantastic - everything in this unit was perfect. I have stayed at many other places but this was by far the best - ocean front with perfect views of the ocean and the fireworks on the 4th of July I would definitely recommend this unit to everyone! Staff at Thomas Beach Vacations were very helpful and courteous - the cleaning staff was so nice - this lady is exceptional - she does a great job maintaining the pool, floors, and elevators. This vacation condo was as good as it gets! From the moment we checked in we had a great stay. The condo was very clean and exceeded our expectations. The view was gorgeous of the beach and it was literally right across the street from the beach. It also had a kids club that was fantastic. The condo was very big and was more that we could have imagined. We loved the lazy river and the splash pad. They also had a diner that you could get food and drinks from. It was walking distance to the grocery store - we would definitely stay again! read more

We rented # 605 at Hyperion Towers with Thomas Beach Vacations and had the best experience. Easy check in and check out! Unit was clean and updated. Beds were surprisingly very comfortable! Views were so pretty from the balcony. We saw some news reports of criminal activities in Myrtle Beach prior to our visit but while there we didn't see or hear anything remotely concerning. Over all a relaxing and memorable vacation. Couldn't have gone better. Enjoyed it so much we have already booked the same place for next year. read more

My family stayed at Paradise Point last year and this year. We had a wonderful time both years. I wanted an ocean front place because my father has ALS and is confined to a wheelchair. He was able to move about the condo freely, and even sit on the balcony, and enjoy the view. We were able to get him out on the beach with the help of a golf cart, family, and friends. Even the life guard offered to get a 4-wheeler and bring him out if we needed him to. Wonderful place and people. We will be back. read more

We stayed in Sea Cabin 224 in North Myrtle Beach and we loved it. The condo was exactly as advertised on Thomas Beach Vacation site, pictures were exact. The condo came well equipped, clean, and comfortable. We loved the oceanfront balcony. Thomas beach Vacation personnel were friendly and professional. Check in and check out was fast and easy and the location was easy to find. I would recommend Sea Cabin 224 and Thomas Beach Vacations. My only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer. read more

Stayed at Coastal Paradise - love, love, love! Home was very nice. Area is quiet and only a block away from the beach. The only issue upon arriving - washing machine was broken BUT it was fixed within 24 hours. The community pool wasn't available during our stay - so that was the only downfall. Price was reasonable for our rental dates. Thomas Beach Vacations was very accommodating and friendly. Will go back again! read more

Everyone I spoke with at Thomas Beach Vacations could not have been any more helpful. They were wonderful each time I called and they were helpful in helping me find just the right house for a long weekend for five couples. The house was The Ocean Current and we all loved the house. Spent 4 wonderful days in unit 1609 at Crescent Shores, was very pleased with over all appearance of the unit, every thing was clean, the furniture was in great shape and not all broke down and stained, kitchen was stocked way better than any condo we have ever stayed in, the owners of this unit put a lot of thought in to this unit to make the renter's stay very comfortable and I give this unit a 100. read more

Our family has been going to Cherry Grove for 50 years now. I believe Thomas has been there since the beginning. Always friendly and professional. This year we went with ocean front and we were extremely pleased with the house and it was well stocked. Ocean Breeze was great and was ready for us early which we really appreciated.
