My experience with Fairfield Animal Hospital was great! I recently had to put down my 11 year old…read morecat, Boog. I had brought him to Sunset Animal Hospital many times in the past & they always told me they couldn't find anything wrong with Boog, although he had stopped grooming his self, he was vomiting daily, & losing weight like crazy. He went downhill very quickly & a few weeks ago, I knew I needed to put him down because he was dying. We called Fairfield Animal Hospital on a Saturday & told them the situation & that Boog needed to be put down immediately. They said we had to arrive within about a 30 minute period because they were closing, which we did. I walked in holding my dying cat in my arms, the coolest cat ever, whom I've had for the last 11 years, & I totally broke down crying. The staff was very understanding & helpful. They let us spend as much time as we needed with Boog after he passed & I asked if I could have some tools to take his paw prints with & they provided them. We also had Boog cremated & the our total bill was about $190. The cremation took about 10 business days & the little wooden urn was included. They even sent me a sympathy card in the mail, which I thought was very compassionate. Fairfield Animal Hospital has become our new vet. R.I.P ~ Boog ~ The coolest cat ever!

I had to euthanize my 16 year old dog due to her declining health and quality of life. For weeks I…read morewas going back and forth about it but Lap of Love made me feel better about my decision. I really appreciated the people I spoke to over the phone when asking questions about the whole procedure and setting up the appointment because they were very supportive and respectful. Dr. Renee was amazing. Very sweet to my baby girl on her final day with us and she was comfortable and peaceful in her passing. They offer a complimentary clay paw print and Dr. Renee was able to shave some hair for me. It was a quick procedure and Dr. Renee ensured that she was in no pain during the procedure and she was safe when being taken away. I chose to do private cremation and was able to pick up the ashes from the crematory after a few days. I've had to euthanize previous dogs before but this was my first time using Lap of Love and I thought the whole process was perfect for my old gal.

I don't want to get into details because it's all still too raw, but after realizing it was time to say goodbye to my 15 year old best friend, I knew I wanted her to be at home and not at a vet's office when she transitioned. I talked to their team and they were very helpful, answered all our questions, and just helped us make the right decision. Dr. Jeannie was so compassionate and kind. She took care of everything, walked us through the entire process. While this was such a hard day, the team really helped us through and helped us give our sweet girl a peaceful sendoff.

Dr. Shultz, vet tech Brittany, and the front desk EXCEEDED my expectations. The whole team does a great job making my pets feel comfortable. When I addressed concerns with my pets, Dr.Shultz did her best to communicate/address my concerns and recommendations. This team truly cares about my pets and working with their temperament, providing treatment options were in our budget, and helping my dogs get the care they need without having to sacrifice their comfortability. I, being a very anxious pet mom would email the front desk with lots of questions. But they always responded quickly and took my concerns seriously. I am so glad I switched to bringing my girls here and look forward to future visits.

We did have a slight mix up one year with a pet's cremation, but the business was quick to give us refund when i offered "no", but they insisted. Additionally, we are having a nasty flea infestation. The business is that good when they take time to respond. What I mean by this is they are careful to research and respond appropriately with the best solution. My experience with Dr. Meadows is she cares for the families because she understands the pets are at the heart of feelings...and it shows how well she leads the business. Anyway, I thought i was going to have to wait the next day for a recommendation for some flea repellant. I was surprised to get a response sooner than the next day. I cannot imagine the stressors can be when helping customers, but they manage to do it. But I think the core reason is they understand the love and they just get it. This is a good practice and my wife, son and I are VERY appreciative of their care and work. Thank you Parkway!
