Dr. Kosins identified the problem which was an encapsulated breast implant and was able to have me scheduled for surgery the following week. I was very skeptical about undergoing surgery because I have severe sleep apnea and a vocal cord paralysis. Dr. Kosins provided me with words of reassurance, which gave me the confidence to move forward with the procedure. The surgery went forward without any complications, and my pain decreased significantly. Now it is totally gone. Dr. Kosins was very knowledgeable about complications with breast implants and handled the situation brilliantly. I am very pleased with my results. His office staff is also very friendly and professional. The post operative care provided by his staff was top notch. I would recommend Dr. Kosins to anyone who is considering undergoing breast surgery and anyone who is experiencing issues with breast implants. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the outcome of my breast augmentation and with the level of follow-up support afterward. I had surgery on May 5, 2025. Around 4-5 months post-op, I began noticing significant asymmetry developing. By the time I returned for my follow-up appointment in September, the issue had already become very noticeable. At this point, I developed capsular contracture on my left side, causing the breast to feel hard, tight, and unnatural. On the right side, the implant dropped significantly lower than the left, creating visible asymmetry and uneven nipple positioning. I also experienced poor scar healing around my right areola, with the scar remaining thick, raised, and persistently itchy nearly a year later. To be fair, Dr. Kosins did acknowledge the asymmetry during my September appointment, discussed revision options with me, and his office provided information regarding the Allergan warranty coverage. I understand capsular contracture is a known risk of breast augmentation surgery and not necessarily the result of negligence. However, what left me disappointed was the lack of continued follow-up and support afterward. After the initial discussion regarding revision options and warranty information, there was no further outreach, follow-up phone call, scheduling assistance for next steps, or even scheduling of my one-year post-op appointment/check-in. As a patient navigating an upsetting complication less than a year after surgery, that absence of communication left me feeling unsupported and alone in the process. I never expected perfection, and I understand complications can happen with any surgery. But when complications do occur, communication, reassurance, and aftercare matter just as much as the surgery itself. Patients deserve to know not only how successful outcomes are handled, but also how they are supported when results do not go as planned.

I had previously been told by another surgeon that I would need a breast lift to get the result I wanted, but I really did not want the additional scars or a lift if it wasn't absolutely necessary. Dr. Ip took the time to evaluate my anatomy and gave me another option that made much more sense for me. We ultimately went with Motiva Ergonomix implants placed over the muscle/subfascial, without a lift, and I am SO happy that I trusted him. My surgery and recovery were honestly easier than I ever expected. I had very minimal pain, never needed the prescription pain medication, and felt extremely well taken care of throughout the entire process. I'm now several weeks out and already love my results more and more as everything continues to settle. They look beautiful, feminine and proportionate to my body, which was exactly what I wanted. I had emailed him about an estimate for my nose, it was around $30,000. I had my consultation once again after the waited time period, we talked about fixing the holes (dents in my nose from missing cartilage), and fixing the irregularities. I booked the non refundable deposit of $1,000 after meeting with him and scheduled the surgery thinking the quote would similar to what he quoted me on email. The receptionist (I can't say names on yelp), sent me a quote of $187,050. I was floored. I lost the deposit money and we can't afford almost $200,000 for a nose job. I am filled with so many questions of why? Where did we get so lost? My emails are ignored now. I lost the money to the lawyer to the last surgeon who botched me, we're in debt from 4 surgeries that botched me, and I put all my eggs in one basket as to the hope for him to fix me for good. We can't even get a loan for $200,000. I'm really down and absolutely shocked that he said he would help me, but surprised me with a price tag that's insurmountable for what we can afford. It's saddening. My hope is gone for surgeons. They're greedy and money hungry. I hope this review gets him to read what emotional toll this has taken on me, and to think before you charge a patient $200,000 to fix irregularities on their nose. I'm no millionaire or billionaire, I'm a mom raising a toddler who has had a really hard time looking in the mirror. I wish he would have kept his word. Only God will judge us at the end as to how we treated those in need of help but couldn't afford a quarter million dollars to get it.

The pictures pretty much speak for themselves. He lowered my hairline down so far it made me look masculine. I had to have tissue expansion surgery to regain my forehead. Dr. Sepehr never mentioned that he was going to preform a coronal brow lift on me but that is what I got. This was a devastating experience -- I Strongly Regret Choosing This Surgeon. The type of brow lift Dr. Sepehr performed on me--a coronal brow lift, which was not listed by name in any of my paperwork--is generally intended for patients with significant skin laxity or sagging. As you can see in my before photo, I did not have excessive sagging skin or wrinkles to begin with. Because my skin was pulled so tightly, I also experienced nerve-related complications on the right side of my face, including a persistent eye twitch that occurs throughout the day. My main goal was a brow lift without increasing or decreasing the size of my forehead. Instead, approximately half an inch was removed from each side and one inch from the center. Considering my forehead was only 2 1/2 inches to begin with, this was a significant change. The result has left me with a much smaller, unbalanced forehead that dramatically changed my appearance and made my face look masculine and disproportionate. My eyebrows were also raised far too high, creating a constant look of surprise I also had a lip lift performed at the same time. My goal was to focus primarily on the corners, but the center was lifted significantly instead. Several surgeons described the result as "fish lip." This refers to an unnatural, disproportionate shape where the center of the upper lip is overly full and prominent while the outer thirds taper off sharply, creating an unbalanced appearance. Seeking Second Opinions I consulted with several board-certified plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills and on the East Coast. Many immediately expressed concern about the results and the extent of the changes that had been made. I learned that correcting these issues will require additional surgeries, thousands of dollars in expenses, and months of further recovery. Emotional, Physical, and Financial Impact This experience has been devastating. I went into surgery looking better than I came out. Because of the scarring and the amount of tissue removed from my forehead, I wasn't a candidate for the electrolysis-based approach. I was hoping I could use this method to restore a more feminine hairline but the scar was significant and had turned white, resulting in a loss of pigment. I was told by multiple experts that tissue expansion surgery was my only option, and that I had to wait seven months before this could be performed. This felt like an eternity..... I ultimately had to undergo tissue expansion surgery, which is performed in two stages. During the first stage, the surgeon placed an expander under the skin of my forehead. Over the course of five months, I gradually added fluid through a port to slowly stretch the skin and essentially re-grow the forehead tissue that had been removed.The second stage involved removing the expander and using the additional skin to reposition my hairline and eyebrows. Final Thoughts I trusted this surgeon because he focuses on facial procedures, and I deeply regret that decision. I cannot change what happened to me, but I hope that by sharing my experience, I can help someone else avoid the pain, cost, and emotional toll I am facing. If you are considering these procedures, please do thorough research and seek out true specialists -- even if it requires travel or higher costs. And make sure your surgeon understands facial symmetry. This is your face. Choose carefully.

For my facial procedure, he performed a lower face and neck lift with temporal tightening, fat grafting to my temples, cheeks, and nasolabial fold, and CO2 laser resurfacing. My breast surgery was considerably more complex. I recently had an amazing experience at the Center for Special Surgery with Dr. Thomas Toohey. Everything went smoothly and perfectly from start to finish. The facility itself was wonderful--the recovery room was neat, clean, and beautifully decorated, and they even had the heater on to my liking, which was a thoughtful touch. Everyone on the staff was incredibly patient and kind. They took their time to explain every detail, which made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. I'm so happy with the procedures that Dr. Toohey and his team performed on me. I was so scared and nervous and everyone did their best to walk me thru and calm me down. I had a lower face lift and breast lift. I look much younger! I feel great and am getting my confidence back. Everything that Dr. Toohey explained to me was how it turned out. I had no bruising and NO PAIN. I can't take narcotics and didn't need to. Within a week I had all my bandages off and was shopping and doing small jobs. While the office offered me a discount for a second surgery, I still paid a significant amount out-of-pocket. Sadly, the second procedure also failed. When I reached out to Dr. Ali and his office to discuss my concerns and explore solutions, their only suggestion was to attempt the procedure a third time. I expressed that I no longer felt comfortable moving forward with them due to the risk of experiencing the same outcome. I wanted to seek care from another doctor I could trust. In response, Dr. Ali acknowledged that he may not have the necessary skill set to perform the procedure successfully and stated that he would instruct the office to issue me a refund. After taking some time to carefully consider my options, I contacted the office to request my refund--only to be told they would not be providing one. I have since spoken to others who have had similarly negative experiences with this office, and I've even heard Dr. Ali referred to as "The Butcher of Newport." What concerned me most was seeing students involved in the surgical setting and being allowed to physically participate/touch the patient during procedures, including liposuction. As a patient, I would expect to be clearly informed and give explicit consent before allowing a student or trainee to participate in my procedure. Given the amount of money patients are paying, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, transparency, and patient centered care. I personally would not return and would strongly encourage anyone considering this practice to ask exactly who will be participating in their procedure before moving forward.

I have been MORE than pleased with each procedure. This review though is for their amazing NP, Brittany, who has done a few different procedures on me in the last few months. She did lipoderma eye rejuvenation in early January and the results were immediate and long lasting. My friends couldn't get over how more youthful and "awake" my eyes looked. She also injected exosomes to help with growth factors to my skin. She recently injected my lips with Juvederm Volbella XC and they came out terrific! Brittany is not just an injector, but she is an artist. She really takes the time to get the best results possible. She uses very small needles which even though it takes a little longer, it ensures perfect product placement with a very natural look. She has great follow-up also and checked on me the next day and scheduled a follow up in a week. I would highly recommend Brittany for all of your injection procedures. She is the best!

They refused to do anything for me, family emergency or not, and told me to have a nice day. $2,500.00 down the drain and in their pocket. Not even so much as a sorry for what ur going through, instead all I got was, "The deposit is for surgery only". There are plenty of other plastic surgery options in Orange County. Do yourself a favor and goto one that has some empathy for their patients or that is at least successful enough to where they don't have to steal money from their patients for services not rendered

Typically, you're advised to meet with multiple surgeons before making a decision since surgery is a serious commitment, but Dr. K was actually the first and only consultation I did. I immediately felt comfortable with him and his staff right off the bat. Everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Dr. Kelishadi took the time to thoroughly evaluate my anatomy and recommended the Preservé technique with Motiva implants. He explained that I had natural asymmetry and suggested two different implant profiles (demi and full) with a 65cc difference to create better balance. I truly appreciated his honest, thoughtful approach and I am so glad I trusted his expertise because I am very happy with my results. One of my biggest hesitations about breast augmentation was fear of going under general anesthesia. The Preservé technique itself is incredible because it uses IV sedation and local anesthesia instead, and the downtime was only a few days.
