I scheduled an appointment with Burkett Bros Heating and Air Conditioning and was originally told they would arrive on Friday. They later texted that rain had delayed them and asked to reschedule. I worked with them to find a new time and was given a confirmed appointment window of 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM the following day. The problem is that nobody showed up during the scheduled window, and I received no call, text, or update explaining the delay. After rearranging my schedule and making myself available, I was left waiting and wondering where they were. Delays happen, especially with weather, and I was willing to be flexible. What is unacceptable is confirming an appointment and then failing to show up or communicate with the customer. If you value reliability, communication, and respect for your time, this was not my experience with this company. Update: After they missed the confirmed appointment window, I had to reach out myself asking where they were. Burkett Bros did great work replacing a disgusting moldy plenum and duct work. Their quote beat out other contractors, and they didnt pressure or upsell anything. When I asked that they leave the vent cover off of a new boot they installed (so I could clean under it) they did extra work to ensure id be able to install the cover myself without a second person holding the boot in the attic. read more
