With a pedigree like this, you would expect to find the finest pint of Guinness in the land within those four walls. And you wouldn't be let down. Creamy consistency. Perfect pour. Beyond the Guinness, the management of this watering hole take a commendable interest in keeping things lively and the regulars (and not-so-regulars!) stimulated and happy to be there. From drinks promotions to a trad night on a Thursday, various bands on a Sunday (excellent Sunday Sesh to be had here folks, for those inclined), to poker nights, six screens for watching sport in the lounge, and a function room with private drinks taps on each table. Bar staff are really friendly here too - they've all been there for ages so are well versed on the lay of the land.
