Friendly, prompt, fun/funny. Atmosphere comfortable and not pretentious. Food: I had a simple cheeseburger and rather than fries, took them up on their offer for a small bowl of soup. All - exactly what I had hoped. Cook on the medium rare burger was clinically perfect. Meat to bun ratio was spot on. Hot, juicy. Terrific. Giving four stars in its category today as I want to dive deeper into the menu. I was pleasantly surprised with the restaurant when I went today. We got here around 12:30pm. We were greeted by a super friendly staff. The menu had a lot of great options. I decided on getting something from the special's menu, shrimp & grits. It came with eggs and salsa. It was very good. The guys that i was with got the breakfast flatbread and an order of poached eggs on an English muffin. Everything was great. Waitresses were attentive with refilling our coffee. I feel the need to leave this review here now just in case I forget to leave a actual proper long review. This is our third time, a humble looking joint so we come here always just expecting it's going to be " meh". But we keep coming back, collecting calories around our waist because everything is so good here! Service - always awesome. Everyone here looks like they work cohesively, everyone is smiling working hard . Coffees always refilled. Food- fantastic, always fresh, on point. This time I got an omelette with tomatoes and this is the first time I had an omelet where the tomatoes don't get mushy. Their hash browns are also amazing! ... while we like the shredded we LOVE the fried- like mini French fries. While all of their proteins are awesome - their turkey bacon deserves a special shout out because it often misses the mark at most places.. but not here .
