I would like to start off with a quick I can not wait to come back to this establishment to try more foods! Overall the ambiance, food, and service were 10's across the board for me and my group! My personal favorite dish of the night was the chili nachos. However the papi chulo plate was a very close second. The only reason we placed it in second is because of the sirloin steak. It was ordered as medium which was in fact executed perfectly however, the outside of the steak had a hard black char on it that was not flavorful whatsoever. I've let some burnt things slide before but that one was on another level of charred. Other than that the rest of the plate was fantastic and so where the other meals. Another thing I would like to mention is that the food not only looks super appetizing but it is extremely filing. If you aren't a heavy eater you could probably get away with an appetizer (such as the nachos) or you can choose an entree and be done with it. However, since it was our first time here we just couldn't help but try a little bit of everything while we were there.

I was with a group of 20 ladies and we were able to sit in a room in the back and enjoy fellowship. I ordered the Puente salad with chicken. It was delicious and it was a very generous portion. I must say what completely stood out about the experience was our phenomenal server, Alex. I have to tell you I can't remember the last time. I had such a great server. He was funny, attentive, efficient, and on his game. If I owned a restaurant, I would want every server to be and Alex. On a side note. I was beyond impressed at how they were able to handle our food in our drinks so quickly with such a big group.

Truffle-lings. These are phenomenal. A must try! YUMMM!

First time here and we loved it. The inside is gorgeous- would make a great date spot but for us it was a wonderful dinner place for close friends. Our waitress Layla was adorable, friendly and attentive and we asked for her recommendations and she was spot on everytime. The truffle-lings were soooooooo good! Crispy cheesey and so much truffle flavor 10/10! Garlic shrimp were good. My friend loved, my only critique is they come served in a hot and spicy oil in cast iron pan so they keep cooking and were beyond overcooked but the flavor was delish. Thr plantain crusted fish and chips were also very good- wish a smidge more crispy but loved the idea of plantains- never had that before! Thr coleslaw was also good and honestly I loved the tartar sauce lol I'm picky with that and this was so bright and was so good with the fish. We ended with thr flan dessert (they don't have a dessert menu but give you a verbal run down) and this was incredible. Perfect texture and the caramel sauce was thin like water yet somehow had the best flavor. 10/10. Would 100% go back, can't wait to try more things! But the truffle-lings and flan are definite repeat! Thanks for a great first experience!

Creative, delicious, Puente Pub is a true chef's kiss! Attentive service! Great ambiance, comfy tables and perfect lighting! The House Chips... Outstanding! The Papi Chulo plate is a must try! Someone said empanadas? Yeap! They aced those too! And if you are just in the mood for some wings, the crisp in these is PERFECT! They don't joke with their cocktails and the selection of draft beers is great! Will be back for sure!

Cheese steak and caesar salad...."pick dos". Very good!!!

A nice place with an interesting menu! Various seating options including outside tables. We had the Caesar salad, puente salad, cheesesteak and turkey club as part of the "pick dos" menu option. Very good and reasonably priced. Service was a little on the slow side and they didn't have a soup of the day which should have been an option. But all in all, a nice vibe and the food was good!

Really love this spot. Since trying this place for the first time, I've been hooked on their fish tacos. Although, everything I've gotten here has been fabulous. Their mezcal based margarita is very good, and the drinks in general are strong. We don't typically make a reservation here, and have had no issues being seated. The staff is super friendly and warm. This is a regular spot for my partner and I, and we love stopping in for happy hour

I'd describe this place with one word: Amazing. This was our first visit, we heard great things from others and finally made a trip to check it out. Service was great, our waitress was Bree. We ordered the trufflings as an appetizer, for main dishes we ordered the papi chulo, and Lucy's plate(?) sofrito, rice, chicken and kielbasa. We also ordered maduros. Everything was seasoned perfectly and taste fresh. We could taste the food quality which was refreshing. I can keep going. This is a gem, as much as I'd love for everyone to go and try this place, please do so Mon-Fri so me and my family can get in easily on the weekends . Seriously, everything was very well done here.

Honestly, after reading the reviews, I wasn't too confident I would even be able to eke on in for dinner, but my God was I able to get in, and thank the LORD I was able to find a parking spot with such a full lot of cars! What started as a solo trip to J Timothy's became a welcome table event when fellow Yelper Angie showed up with her husband and invited me over to their table. I'm SO glad we were able to have that happen! It became one of the best post-event dinners I've had yet. It did take a bit of time to decide between the three of us, but we eventually split our checks, with me taking care of my order and Angie taking care of the rest. We had Kate as a waitress, and might I say, she was not only nice and efficient, but she was very knowledgeable of the menu and very helpful and accommodating. I immediately requested a take-out box and she delivered just like that. She was even knowledgeable on what foods and such were made in-house and what wasn't, which is honestly very impressive! Also note, we all got to have a taste of everything that came in tonight, so we got lots of food to get to! We did have the wings for our appetizers. I did the 10-wing Dirt Style Honey BBQ Gold for mine, and they got I wanna say 20(?) Buffalo wings. They were cooked to perfection, and I was able to twist the bones off the flats. Both flavors were good, but even though it could possibly be my bias talking, I did prefer my flavor of wings. I will say the Buffalo had that signature spice level there, but it didn't overpower the wing, which is awesome! Oh, and there were also the potato skins which was rated perfectly, and that tasted really good as well. For the entrees, this is why I immediately requested the box. My order was the full rack of ribs. Angie got the chicken pot pie. Usually, I don't eat pot pies, but the one Angie ordered was honestly very good. Flaky, buttery crust top, and savory filling or chicken, potatoes, peas, etc. As for my ribs, whenever I tried to cut them, all the meat kept falling off the bone! That's how you know it was cooked properly! And dear God were these ribs were delicious, succulent, and delicious! Did I mention they were delicious? The BBQ sauce was a symphony of bliss that helped make each bite of rib taste like I went to Cloud Nine! The coleslaw it came with was good, but it's not something I would say can compete with the South. But good all the same. Drinks were great too. I got the Dragon Fruit Martini(?), and that was sweet and relaxing to have after a long summer and a long drive to Plainville. Oh, and we also got dessert! Again we picked different things: Angie ordered the "Not Fried Chicken" while I went with the Key Lime Pie. Wherever these guys get their key lime pie from, keep them coming and let me know so I can get some more myself! The raspberry sauce was a great choice for accompaniment and complimented the pie nicely. And the slice was divine! The Not Fried Chicken is a very innovative idea, and it tasted good as well. I can see now why this place gets so much love. It's insane how good this place is in just about every aspect! The sink did take a bit to learn, but that was about my only criticism, other than that this place easily gets 5 stars from me, and I am so glad to have had this dinner with Angie and meet her husband. #KeepYelping

Timothy's Tavern when I visit back in the northeast…read more Ordered both the Gold BBQ and Buffalo flavors dirt style, and they were absolutely delicious and dank as per usual. The Gold BBQ wings were my favorite--crispy, sticky, and packed with flavor. They had the perfect balance of sweet, smoky, and tangy without being overpowering. The Buffalo wings were excellent too, with a classic sauce that had just the right amount of heat and a great buttery finish. The wings came out crispy even after being sauced, which is harder to do than most places make it look. Service was friendly, the atmosphere felt like a classic neighborhood tavern, and you can tell they've been doing this for a long time. If you're anywhere near Plainville and like wings, this place is definitely worth the stop. I'll be thinking about those Gold BBQ wings for a while.

I didn't catch her name, but the woman who was the only person working the bar and waiting on the tables was amazing. She was super friendly to everyone. She hustled to meet everyone's needs. It wouldn't surprise me if she is an owner too. It's hard to find people, who aren't owners, who are that committed. I asked for a wing flavor recommendation and she said "Montreal Honey" first. I ordered 6. The wings are part-baked and then finished in a fryer. Good inner and outer texture. The Montreal Seasoning was right on. The Honey didn't have much of a presence either visually or flavor-wise. More was needed to balance the salt from the Montreal Seasoning and to justify the Honey in the name. I tried both the Blue Cheese and the Ranch. I'd recommend the Blue Cheese. I'll definitely return to try more wing flavors. I also ordered a crock of chili, which was full of ground beef and topped with melted cheddar and chopped red onions. The chili was solid. I'd probably try something else before I ordered it again though. I'm a fan of Hideaway and I'll be back. 4.25 Stars

Think a new menu, lower prices, a super simplified Happy Hour (Every menu item & drink is $3 OFF), Weekly Specials, a lunch menu, and special events Trivia Tuesdays, Game Night Thursdays, and Wine & Whiskey Wednesdays. Our server Josh was great, super friendly and helpful. With the Happy Hour discount, we bought 2 Mich Lights for $3 a pop, a BLT with chips for $13. And a chicken quesadilla for $13. The BLT had quite a bit of bacon, and likewise, the quesadilla had quite a bit of chicken. We were very happy with our Happy Hour experience. Nice job reinventing yourself, Redstone.

Wow well this was a sad experience…read more Came here for my birthday lunch with family. The server was all alone trying to wait on a dozen tables or more. We ordered an appetizer of nachos and a few burgers for mains. And waited. And waited. I was checking my watch often because we had two hours on the parking meter that was rapidly winding down to zero. Nachos came after a while. Nothing to write home about... almost stale chips with a cheese/sour cream/green onion and jalapeño topping. Maybe a dozen black beans in the mix. We waited again for our mains. After a total of an hour, they came. I ordered a black & blue burger and asked for tomato to be added. It arrived without the tomato, so I reminded the waitress about that. And eventually the tomato came from the kitchen. Single slice. But by this point the burger was getting cold. I opened the bun to put it on and then saw the kitchen forgot the onion strings. So I flagged her down again to ask and she apologized and went off... to clear other tables. After ten minutes I asked her if the onion rings were coming and she was confused, thinking I didn't want them because I asked for no onions on my salad. No, I just said no raw onion on the salad. She asked it I wanted the onion strings after all. At this point, the burger had been sitting for at least ten minutes and I told her to forget it and just remove it from the bill. She looked over her shoulder and said, "here comes the manager". The manager shows up, reaches over to adjust the umbrella on our table, then leaves. Without saying a word. He walks off and we don't know what's going on. The waitress returns and says she comped my burger 50%. I asked why not 100% because I'm not eating it at all. She blinks and says she'll check. Bill comes back with it removed from the total, and I'm missing my credit card. She runs back exclaiming how she forgot the card and probably could use some coffee today. Ummm, yeah. This was error on error. Not a good look and pretty sad customer service. At least they had the World Cup on tv.
