I'm not sure of her role but she knows what she is doing and on top of everything. She took care of the previous problems I had. I walked out with what I needed! I also spent far less than I had been quoted at other places. The only downside is their transition lenses font change in the car. They don't offer those but they are less expensive as well. So far that hasn't really been an issue for me but it could be something I have to deal with at some point, I'd recommend them because I'm pleased with my glasses and Nanette is so good at taking care of the customers. If she is not in charge, she should be! Nanette gets 5 stars!

So we thought we'd drop in while out running errands one day, and when we did, we almost didn't return. As soon as we walked in they were judging us and looking us up and down. Following behind us while we browsed. The first communication was not "Hi! How can we help you today?" It was "Do you have insurance?" Yes. "Who is it with?" One lady followed my wife around, and when she picked up one pair, the lady said to my wife "THOSE frames are $240!" My wife looked at her and said "OK." We decided to give them a shot since their prices were good, so my wife picked out her frames and sat down with them. The lady kept telling her about how much it cost before insurance and warning my wife how much the lenses she wanted cost, like we couldn't afford to be there. When she ran the insurance and told my wife the amount, my wife said she'd go ahead and pay in full right then. Her response was "Oh! Really?" The products they sell are great products, and their prices are very reasonable. But the people working at this particular store need to learn about how to treat everyone who walks through the door as a potential customer and not a potential thief or deadbeat.

The main attractions for me are the Ferris wheel, the aquarium entry area and the cafe (+ sweets store). However, they have so much more to offer. It has departments for all sorts of team sports, all types of outdoor and adventure sports like fishing or hunting, fitness, footwear, games, toys, apparel, home goods and more. Do not forget to have the pizza and fudge at the cafe after a long stroll at the store. Also on the second floor they have beautiful taxidermy animals areas which is a fantastic site. It can get busy on the weekends so plan your visit accordingly because it's hard to get parking outside the store. Overall it's a clean, huge store with super friendly staff and a must visit if you're in the area!!

It's totally one part corporate, crisp, functional retail goods store, and another part taxidermy animals, rides, fudge, and hunting & fishing gear like you'd find at Bass Pro. We took our kids here on a winter break, gray day and it was a lot of fun. First off, there's a mini aquarium when you walk in -- it's nothing to write home about, but it gets the kids attention and they realize right away this is a fun store. From there, you can't miss the gigantic ferris wheel in the middle of the store. Gonna be real, it's fun and worth the wait but also a bit nerve wracking. Something is just odd about quietly swaying at the top of a department store quietly for such a long time. My daughter was like, "Dad, I'm scared to look down!" and all I could think was, "so am I, kid, so am I." We both agreed it's pretty fun once it gets going. There's also a little bowling area where you get five frames for a buck, and ditto to a little arcade game area as well. There's toy stores, outdoor goods, quality brands of clothes and outfitting, and really a nice answer to online shopping. In fact, it feels like malls used to feel in the 90's but a modern spin on everything. We did eat here but I'd say skip it. I didn't find anything I wanted and when I went to finish off my kids chicken tenders I was super underwhelmed and ended up pitching them. I will say at this time they carry Sylas & Maddy's ice cream (best IC in the city IMO) so that was a nice surprise treat. What more could you want if out shopping with the kids?! It's a great spot to kill a quiet afternoon.

When we first arrived she was helping another customer, that's totally okay we looked for ourselves. She very snarkily said "what do you guys need?" Later after she finally started to help my friend we asked her a few questions and wanted to write down the information so if he came back for the glasses he liked best, he would know the exact ones. Totally normal. She said "no, I don't write things down but these are one of a kind, I only order one of each, I will remember, it's my policy." (Which isn't true because a salesman wrote down a pair for my sister in law a few weeks back) Then naturally we asked if they were 'one of a kind', was she the only local one who sold them... Because since she wouldn't write them down and only had a single pair we were curious if we'd be able to purchase them someplace else if they sold. Then, in the middle of my question, she looked at us and said "okay, you can leave now. Bye."

From check in to eye exam to check out, it took 30 minutes. They have a machine they can use in lieu of dilating your eyes. It cost $35 and is definitely worth it. I've seen Dr. Stacy Phillips and Dr.Kirk during my annual visits. Both women are friendly and listen to you. If you're looking for a new eye doctor, highly recommend checking this place out. They also have an optical shop with a wide, variety selection of glasses for men, women & kids. On a personal note, Dr. Stacy Phillips was able to help me solve an on going issue with my left cornea by referring to another specialist doctor. I'm truly grateful for her for helping me resolve with what I thought was an "issue I just had to deal with" for the rest of my life.

When I walk in the door I am greeted and checked I right away. There is little waiting for my scheduled appointment time. There are cool frames to look at if in need of a new or updated pair of glasses. This practice operates like a well-oiled machine.
