I have been using them for quite a while. They always do a good job! All the staff are really friendly.

OUTSOURCED!! LOST TRUST. I've seen Dr. Letourneau and Dr. Henderson for all my vision needs for many years as their practice has grown, but it appears they have forgotten why locals chose them in the first place. I selected them because they were a local practice and not some national chain where I was just another number. Well that's no longer the case. They've apparently outsourced their scheduling to a call center in a foreign country and I no longer feel that my personal health information can be trusted with them. I contacted their Olathe office to express my concern, but did not receive a return call from their office manager as I was promised. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Ridgeview Eye Care. I hope they realize that trust is key to keeping the customers who helped build their practice. read more

*They are trying to get all the money they can from you!!! Beware!!!* I never write reviews but I have to for this experience. My eye exam was fine. My prescription completely changed which is odd considering I've had the same prescription for 10 years. But the real trouble came out when we were picking out frames and what was covered. To preface, my father works for my insurance and has for 20 years in a very high position. The lady I was talking to was extremely rude and was telling me I had horrible coverage and had to pay over $900. Which is far from true. I have never paid for my frames in the past 15 years. She kept adding things on that I didn't need. When I spoke to my father on the phone he said frames are covered and the added on filters I "needed" are also coverage. When I brought this up and told her that what exactly was covered, she told me I was wrong and was extremely rude about it. She spoke to me as if I was 5 years ago and was chuckling at me. One example is I told her AR Techshield is covered in full and I always get it on my lenses. She then laughed and said that's not a thing and I told her it was, so she asked her other associates in a condescending way if they knew what I was talking about. The best part is when I looked it up on their website, it is listed as an option. Needless to say, they are trying to get you to pay anything they can out of pocket. I got my coverage forms from my insurance and everything I was told was false. Do not go here if you don't want to over pay and be treated horribly. read more

Great care and service. Everyone is very friendly. The exam is comprehensive. They also have a great selection of frames.

Great new location off of Prairie Star Parkway! Lots of tech and very nice facility and friendly from desk staff. This is a typical hustle you in and hustle you out practice. Conversation was rushed, incomplete and lacking active listening skills. In the end all I needed was an annual eye exam. read more

I LOVE the women in this office. Every single person is well educated in their fields and incredibly kind to their clients. I had an issue with a few contacts splitting in my eye while wearing them and once I called they not only contacted the provider but also gave me replacements for them and then some. I could not be more pleased with them! The technology used is also unmatched by any other provider I have in the past plus they have a new tool that does not require that puff of air to do on your eye. I love them! read more

I came here yesterday for a new pair of glasses and an updated eye exam for it had been around 8 years since my last one. This was my first time here, and let me say I couldn't be more pleased with how everything went. Everyone was friendly and helped me with getting a new pair of glasses. After years of going to the same eye doctor, it was time for a change (old doctor was in Lawrence, where my office is. Now I never go to Lawrence anymore). I chose Ridgeview because I had heard good things. They were able to get me in within about a week, which was great. When I showed up, I was escorted in to the room on-time, and the staff were friendly. After all of the initial checks, the doctor (Dr. Henderson) came in quickly and was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He definitely took care of me, hooked me up with some samples of new contact lenses, and sent me on my way. A few days later, I ordered the lenses over the phone and picked them up in person a few days later. All staff throughout the process could not have been nicer. The space itself is clean, bright and welcoming. Their glasses selection doesn't look huge, but isn't too small either. All in all, a solid eye doctor. read more

One time, They cancelled my appointment as I arrived. Another time, they rescheduled my appointment for an hour later as I arrived. Front desk people are not helpful. Mostly condescending. When I mentioned exploring other healthcare options if they couldn't help me, they said "Sounds good, bye!" Doctors are alright. read more

We've been seeing Dr. Henderson at this office ever since they opened. They could not be more friendly or professional. They are open on Saturdays and always work with my husband and I to get us in together. The staff works hard to make sure you receive fantastic customer service. They serve coffee, soda, and water in the waiting room, but you probably won't have time to drink anything unless you arrive early for your appointment--we have never been left waiting past our appointment time. They have gone out of their way to email prescriptions and visit notes to us for our insurance. Dr. Henderson has always been caring and shows genuine concern. read more

I met with Jacob, who was friendly and professional. He fitted me with some contacts that I love. I only have one bad thing to say about them. When I started looking at glasses, the lady told me that my insurance covered contacts OR glasses. If I wanted glasses, I would have to pay $350. I looked over my insurance before I came and knew that it covered frames, but I didnt argue with her. Instead, I went to lenscrafters and saved $100. So why 4 stars? That's due to the outcome of the exam. Jacob switched up my perscription and gave me something new. It really is amazing to see things this clearly. Thank you so much! read more

This office has terrible customer service. I spoke to Dr. Letourneau in detail prior to a service that would be performed. He promised and gave me his word that I would not be charged for the service. The doctor did not honor his word and I'm now stuck with the bill. If you are looking for an honest doctor, do not go here!!! I will never give them my business again!! If I could, I would give them a negative rating. read more

I broke my glasses on a Thursday in April, could not get an appt in Ottawa KS until May. Called Ridgeview Eye Care on a suggestion from a friend at work and was able to get in to their office the next day on a Saturday no less. Great service, great staff it was a very pleasant visit and I will definitely go back and would recommend them to anyone. read more

We bought new eyeglasses on a website for my daughter that needed an adjustment. I had her stop by Ridgeview Eye Care and offer to pay to have glasses fit correctly. They did it for no charge, even though we are not their patients and bought glasses elsewhere. Small thing but we'll be taking our business there next year. read more

Quick appointment and great doctor! The appointment started timely, the assistant was very pleasant, and the doctor couldn't be nicer. They also reminded me of the appointment and set up appointments a year in advance so I always keep up with my annual exam. They even have chocolates and a mini fridge with sodas and water for patients - the attention to detail show that they really care for their patients. read more

Me and my family were running late because an emergency. I had called and told them we were running late about 7 minutes!! She tells me we're unable to see us. Not even going to see us later or anything. Very pissed. Please look at your employees. I have awful vision. They are not only me in danger but anyone on the streets or sidewalks. My last pair broke, pissed at the quality. This women didn't even greet me she said yes? No discounts or no promos. Wish I got her name she was very rude. read more

BEWARE!! They will OVERCHARGE you and say it is part of your copay! They charge $20 for their Optomap machine without even asking you if you want to use the optomap machine! They say that the doctor uses the optomap because it is better than dilating your eyes. Well, if the doctor prefers that then HE or the OFFICE should cover the cost or offer the patient an option. They do not even offer to dilate your eyes instead of being charged the extra fee for the optomap and the front desk is very sneaky about it too saying it was my copay. IF you want quick in and out service where they charge you more than your insurance covers then by all means go here. We will not be returning here. read more

To me ... Ridgeview Eye Care is the BEST optometrist in town! My family and I have been going to Ridgeview Eye Care for several years now. When you enter the office you are greeted by the front desk staff who, after checking in, will offer you fresh, warm popcorn and a drink. They have a waiting area with a TV and magazines. While you wait, which has never been more than 5 minutes, you can check out their large inventory of eye glasses and sunglasses. Dr. Henderson is the optometrist that I see when I get my eyes checked. He's always very welcoming, extremely knowledgeable, very thorough and he's always willing to answer any questions I might have. Even though my visits are usually quick I never feel like I was rushed so they could get to the next patient. This optometrist is a diamond in the rough and a business you should definitely try ... you won't be disappointed! read more
