We've been to this restaurant a bunch of times and every time the food is consistent. We've gotten the Krispy rice, Bangkok roll, blue crab rangoon, Thai lettuce wraps, rock shrimp, tuna truffle roll, TNT roll, shrimp yakisoba, hamachi toro signature and salmon toro signature. All are delicious. Service is also great. There are two ladies that are always there and they are so nice. The place is set up to be more upscale, but I would say it's more casual. read more

This place started off strong but has slowly gone down hill, but prices keep rising. No longer a quick decent priced sushi spot. Prices are on par with nicer places in the area, but the atmosphere doesn't match. It's usually warm in there and health score of 86... A good friend recommended this place, so we all decided to check it out for the first time (for me and make a return visit for him). He raved so much about this place that I had to see what the hype was about. I absolutely love Thai food, and my favorite place is close to downtown Atlanta, but I felt like I needed to drive there. The place is small but has a nice ambiance. I liked it because the servers have time to take care of you instead of trying to manage six or seven tables. Speaking of servers, Christi was our server and took AMAZING CARE of us. Since it was my girlfriend's and my first time, Kristi made recommendations, including what spices to put with the meal. On to the food... For appetizers, we ordered Blue Crab Rangoon, and for our meals, we had, Yakisob with chicken, Royal Lobster Pad Thai, Wonton Soup, Green Papaya Salad and one other dish that I can't remember. We discovered this restaurant while out and about. It had pretty good parking and it was open. I was nervous about it since it was close to dinner time and it was empty. It has a nice selection at the bar and was very clean and open. The host and waitress were very friendly and attentive. Service was quick and the rolls were fresh. Rice N Spice is in our normal rotation of Thai restaurants, and we really enjoy having both sushi and Thai options. I've had both cuisines, and they do a nice job. The sushi rolls are tasty, and there are some creative rolls. The Thai options are solid also. I don't necessarily love the fried rice here, but the stir fry dishes are the best (especially the cashew chicken). It's not a huge place, but it has nice ambiance. And they do offer a full bar. read more

In our continuing effort to try places that are new to us, we decided on Rice N Spice Thai Sushi. At 6:30 on a Saturday evening, we had a short wait. We sat at a 4-top with some of the most sturdy furniture I've experienced in a restaurant in the past decade. This is a sushi restaurant (amongst other things) so, you can also sit at the long sushi bar. We started with a few sushi rolls, Tom yum soup and coconut soup. The sushi was good quality. The soups were some of the best versions I've had with good quality ingredients. The quality of ingredients continued when it came to our entrees: pad see ew with chicken, green curry with tofu, and massaman curry with chicken. There were a variety of fresh vegetables in each dish with the curries as velvety and smooth as you could want. The servers ask you spice level for the timid to adventurous. The curries were served in a beautiful steel crock alongside a cup of white rice. The restaurant can get pricy depending upon the ingredients you choose: there are Thai dishes with lobster, scallop, short rib, and duck. Otherwise, the prices are reasonable. The service is consistent- the dishes were cleared after use and water was refilled without having to ask. We do have a longstanding favorite Thai restaurant in Roswell. However, I will definitely "cheat" on it and include Rice N Spice in our rotation. It was delicious! read more

I just placed a to-go order tonight and picked it up. The service was not too friendly. When I got home to eat my dinner, this rotten avocado was across the top of my vegetable massaman curry. I cannot believe they served this. The fact that I tipped, paid a fee and got poor quality food after a long day is not ok. I do not plan on going here again. You get 3 shrimp, 1 sweet potato, 1 onion ring, and 1 broccoli. The portion size doesn't match the price. My husbands garlic pepper shrimp was missing the pepper. My dish was a bit confusing! It looks delicious. However, the tamarind sauce was clumpy and thin at the same time! It was so bad, that I asked for garlic sauce to pour on top of it. I'm sure they have better dishes on the menu. The food was very tasty and I thought the prices were pretty reasonable compared to other Thai places I have been to aside from the ones near Jimmy Carter Blvd. The cocktails were pretty tasty and when you ask for spicy they actually do try to make it spicy. My dish which was the basil chicken was not spicy enough for me with double Thai hot but when I asked for raw bird chilis on the side they brought me some and it gave it the kick I needed. A few Thai places that I have gone to only had frozen raw chili when I asked which really cut the spice in half and watered down any flavor. I am always weary of fusion cuisine places because I feel like they tend to not get either cuisine right but this place is pretty awesome. My husband and I went for dinner a month ago and had a great experience with the food and service. Unfortunately, we decided to go for dinner on Valentine's Day and were very disappointed. They only had one server on the floor handling the bar and taking orders. The shrimp from my pad tai was spoiled and I had to send it back and didn't want anything to replace my meal since it was very off putting. Normally, when I happen upon a menu that triggers paralysis from paradox of choice, I'm done with that place. This applies to 99.99999% of these mixed cuisine Asian restaurants. I want about 8 things to pick from, all done extremely well. Rice N Spice is solid. A range of things from garlic pepper tofu to a small variety of sushi hit all the spots. I can't say it's the best in every category, but if you are dining with others that don't want what you want, it's a good place to go. The only thing I would comment that needs a touch of grandma is the miso soup. It was overly sweet. Located in the complex by Aldi across target. Has plenty of parking and nice seating area (indoor/patio)! I've got the Basil stir fry (Veggie) that came with a side of rice and an order of spring roll! The food was ready for pickup within time and was delicious! Thai food was on point. This is SUCH a great addition to the area. We have been here several times now and everything has been delicious. It is rare to find a sushi place that can do great sushi and still nail other items. This one hits across the board. In addition, while so many places are struggling to find enough staff - they are always friendly. This building (located at the other end of the Aldi parking lot) has been several things over the last couple of years, and we have liked them all - but this one is a true love. The service is excellent and everyone, including the sushi chefs, wear masks. In a pandemic, I personally appreciate that! I started with a house salad with peanut dressing. The dressing is sweet and spicy and delicious! We ordered the JB Tempura roll, Pineapple fried rice and chicken Pad See Ew. I loved the cooked sushi roll! I wish there were more cooked sushi rolls on the menu. Both hot entrees were delicious. There's a tv and bar area inside. You can also sit in front of the sushi chefs and watch them make their rolls. We came here starving, and we were not disappointed. The food, staff and ambiance were all spectacular. My absolute favorite was the sea bass. I don't know how they did it, but the fish had the perfect crispy, seared exterior and melt-in-your-mouth interior. The sauce had the richest flavor, and it blended very well with the fish and vegetables. I fondly poured all of it into my bowl of rice and ate it like nobody's business. The sushi was also good. We came here for dinner on a weeknight and it was pretty full. It was a nice evening out so we sat outdoors on their patio. It is located in a strip mall so the ambiance out here was not great. But the food and service more than made up for it. The menu had a ton of items covering many Asian countries, including, as the name may represent, Thai and Japanese items. We got the Tom Yum soup, Tonkotsu Ramen, Pad See Ew, and Spicy Tuna Roll. All of them were good, but the Tom Yum soup and Spicy Tuna Roll stood out. The soup had great flavor and was a good amount, enough for our whole table. The roll was also well presented and tasted fresh. The noodles were good and reheated well the next day. Been meaning to try Rice N Spice for a while and we finally had a chance to do so. I love places like this. The keys to success never change - know the neighborhood, deliver quality, care, give a darn about customers and good food. We passed a couple new places with empty parking lots - places which have missed on one of those key things. Rice N Spice hits on every one. It's busy - like a good neighborhood place should be - these are regulars coming here. The staff is busy, efficient and friendly. Nice dining room, sushi bar with a few seats and a bar in the back with a few seats. I am sure they do a good bit of takeout, but come and sit for a while. Everyone is really friendly while being busy - happy to have you there. They work as a team. The food was dynamite - we had some sashimi to start - the hamachi with jalapeños were great. Spring rolls were crispy and hot and then a couple dishes - Penang and then also Cashew Nut. It was great - not too much salt, but more relying on the spices for flavor - really well done We will be back often read more

My wife and I have not had the opportunity to go out and eat alone in a long time since we have two kids. We also moved a year ago from Washington state that is full of amazing Japanese and Thai food. So our expectations are extremely high for this type of food and interesting enough our two favorite foods are made in one convenient location, rice n spice Thai sushi. Let's start off with the most important thing, the food. Hands down the highest quality, most flavorful and most complex flavors we have ever had in our lives! We were absolutely shocked that we found this gem serving such high quality of flavor. We had three sushi rolls, pad see ew and ramen. Every single dish was made to perfection. What surprised me was the tonkotsu ramen soup as I have never had ramen worthy of eating again but here the broth was so smooth and full of flavor but not over bearing. It had a Large noodle portion, thick cuts of tender pork belly, eggs boiled to perfection and and amazing experience. Although it was not my favorite dish I would absolutely buy it again. The most flavorful dish was the pad see ew. Right of the bat you can see and smell the rich flavor and with the large wide noodles absorbing all those flavors the pad see ew was by far the start in the flavor department. You just want to continue eating this dish non stop. It's was not overly sweet like other places trying to overcome their inadequacy to cover faults and lack of flavor. This dish brought all the well seasoned flavors and texture straight forward, front and center. The most delicate and surprising of flavors was the Bangkok roll. The Salmon, tuna, cilantro and red onion combination was by far the most complex flavor profile because with such simple ingredients it packed the largest wow factor and caught us off guard at how tasty this combination was. All the rolls were absolutely perfect and unique. Many other restaurants will cover their rolls in sauces and or will be identically made with slight differences between the rolls. Not here. Quality of fish and flavor is front and center in all their rolls. Absolutely amazing place. Make this your stop if you are in the area or not. We live in jasper and will absolutely be coming back here as often as we can. This is the gem that we were looking for to take over our favorite locations in Washington. Highest complements to the chiefs and owners for putting their products quality and flavor front and center and making their dishes with such precision.
