Going to be totally honest, I've never written reviews, so to anyone reading this, please take this as your sign to reconsider coming here _. Firstly let's start with the environment, the workers here were pretty nice. I had no issue with their attitude or with the way they treated me. Though I did feel a bit uncomfortable when getting pierced. Often when I get pierced at my usual spot, it's always just me and my piercer alone, but here, it seemed like all the employees wanted in on the action lol Since I wanted to try a new place out, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. So for the piercing itself, while I was getting it done, my piercer was a little shaky and hesitant on the placement of the lips. Her unsureness really worried me, but I stayed calmed and put trust in the process (not a good idea). Eventually it was time to get pierced and it was not too bad, now when she was done. I wasn't given much advice on the aftercare. They did try to sell me their own aftercare, but im pretty sure it would have been of their best interest to let me know what to buy from a genuine store/pharmacy and what to use to make sure the healing process goes well... Anyways, one of the piercings were crooked :( Ok so it was bothering me and so I decided to give the owner a text. He lets me know I can come in and get it repierced. So I show up to the store and the owner himself repierced it. Thought he didn't give me any mouthwash for when I got it repierced :0 I don't know whether it was safe to have repierced an already wounded piercing, but since they were the piercer, they told me they could repierce it and it would just swell. Ok so I go through with it. Big mistake. I got it pierced at 2 pm, and around 5 pm I noticed a bit of bruising and by 9 pm, the bruising got worse. I texted the owner to voice my concerns and they told me that it was normal due to the trauma for being pierced twice, I guess I could somewhat understand that. The bruising gets worse and there's bleeding and lots of swelling. I figured it probably did just need a bigger bar. I kept waking up in the middle of the night with pain in my lips and the swelling getting worse :/ Eventually I decided to contact my usual piercer, so I go to their store and when I showed them the issue, they told me that I needed to take it out immediately and that hopefully the jewelry was not stuck to my lip. So they take me to the back and take out the piercing, which luckily comes out. There's non stop bleeding to which my piercer has to hold down towels to make sure I don't bleed out. He then tells me to go to the ER near by (._.) I go the er, they let me know that a vessel was pierced and they have prescribed me antibiotics. I was lucky that the bleeding stopped. I go back to my piercer and they also informed me that not only was that one piercing done incorrectly, but that the other piercing was pierced at a wrong angle. So both piercings in the end weren't don't correctly _ Please be mindful of where you get your piercings.

She charged me almost a band for an undone red flower on my shoulder that hasn't even been colored in. She told me she was working on the piece that I wanted for a couple weeks and when I showed up to my appointment she only had the flower part drawn out. For $700 I should have at least gotten the line work done. Definitely don't recommend, but she clearly needed the money for her kids Christmas gifts or she was late on rent.

The shop is very well maintained and clean- I believe they just renovated it as well so the space is bigger. Vhyxin was my artist and was absolutely lovely. She made sure I liked the placement before getting started and checked in on me frequently to see how I was doing. Whole thing took less than an hour and she gave me a care/goodie bag afterwards! It was rather embarrassing to go to someone I knew was serious about there profession and say, "hey I have a crooked septum piercing with awful jewelry, help?" But Mike was so kind and helpful and was not judgmental at all. The piercing wasn't terribly crooked and I didn't want to remove it and have it redone, but he installed a ring with a smaller diameter to help cloak the crookedness and offers in house anodizing as well. Overall, super nice guy that clearly has a passion for body piercing. In a world of many horrible piercers, he's definitely a pro you can trust.

While explaining the risks of the piercing she asked if she would be swimming in the next 3 months, stating "You are risking an infection next to your brain." She then cautioned her on air travel in the next 3 months. We have a trip in four weeks. My daughter asked if that was long enough after the piercing. Mady stated, "there is a real risk of your ear lobes swelling due to the altitude and you needing to have your earrings surgically removed. I have been a family practice PA for the last seventeen years. I am well versed in explaining risks of procedures to patients and how to care for wounds. This language was completely unnecessary, especially for a twelve-year-old. I will also add, I had a completely different experience 2 years ago with my other daughter. I was terribly disappointed. We went to Renaissance tattoo and had a fantastic first piercing experience.

Staff was super helpful, even with coming in without a reservation on schedule and being so late. We got in around 2200 hours. Our friends wanted a tattoo so we tagged along, yet my wife ended up getting her nose pierced. The guy that did it was super nice after he warmed up to us. Was a bit stand offish, maybe because it was late, but he helped my wife and got her set up. He was super patient, making sure the piercing went in just the right spot to match the other one she already had on the other nostril. Was a very pleasant experience. The tattoo artists use the newer tat machines that don't make any noise. Just seems odd to not hear the buzzing. Tho after a bit, on artist ended up using one, it was a pleasant sound.
