Size is pretty small and at $1.30 each, not worth it. There's no discount for ordering a whole dozen either, just flat per donut cost. Thought it might even be a little cheaper at the end of the day but I was wrong. The 2 older ladies working there didn't even greet me walking in, just stared at me like I was taking up their time. I am so glad I tried Poppy's out. From the moment I got out of my car I could smell the fresh baked goodies. One word.....heavenly. The lady working was so patient with me after I told her this was my first visit. Everything looked so delicious. I chose an assortment or cinnamon rolls, raspberry filled donuts, cheese danish and cherry cream Cheese danish. When I say this was the best danish Ive ever had I mean it! I will admit that I have a bit of a bias considering my daughter is a baker. She is not local to us so this review is based on strictly a non-bias experience. After enjoying a meal around the corner from here, I decided to stop in for a "sweet retreat" with an excitement and joy to discover well sized macarons on the menu. Price is fair for size and location. Their brookies and brownies are jaw dropping when you see their size. We were so full from lunch that I couldn't fathom anything more than what we bought. The ambiance is very inviting and spacious, and the service was very quick and accomadating. I ordered the Reuben sandwich with the tomato basil soup, and both were fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The Reuben was piled high with meat. I had enough left over for another meal! I couldn't leave without trying the red velvet crinkle cookie, and I'm so glad I did. I saved it to share with my husband when I got home, and it was incredible. I found out the owner's daughter, a Culinary Institute graduate, made it, and you can definitely taste the quality.
