Have been twice now and both times the line was wrapped around the building. I would say we waited 30 mins or so until we finally got inside the store. I had seen them on TikTok , and just knew I had to go asap!!! Once inside, we looked at all the glass display cases and chose the ones we wanted! The shop is adorable and has quite a few areas for seating and enjoying your treats!! Staff was helpful and nice and I felt like they tried moving you quick! First visit - Went with the Rasplove based on their recommendation and it was so smooth and refreshing and delicious. Intended to bring my husband home a bite but I couldn't stop! Brought him home a Cuban Robusto and he was equally as enthused! Pinnamel Sweets is a modern patisserie in Louisville, Kentucky, known for its artistic and innovative pastries, cakes, and Cuban-style treats. We ordered a few different options, including the Blue Lemon Tart. The blueberry flavor in the blueberry sauce and mousse was very pronounced, and the lemon came through in the background, complemented by a delicious lemon curd. The eclair is slightly bitter, with an enjoyable crunch from the crackling, while the filling has a pudding-like texture and good chocolate flavor. We found this place because of our curiosity to these gel like cakes that have been booming on social media as of recently. Lucky enough KY had somewhere that could cater to our curiosities. Sweet treat o'clock! If you are looking for a sweet treat where the desserts are designed to look like pumpkins and apples then this your place. They are a $9 a dessert though but totally worth it. Oh my goodness the most flavorful pastries ever and they're absolutely gorgeous! The detail is immaculate! The one that looks like a coconut was my favorite! The chocolate on the outside was perfectly paired with the coconut inside of the pastry. Romance would be the one with the heart on the top which had vanilla bean mousse, chocolate ganache, cherry jelly and chocolate cake. Then the mocha cabana was the one that looks like the coffee cup. It had such a rich coffee flavor it was wonderful. The pink one that was called Cloud Nine was an almond tart with guava jelly, guava mousse and poppy seed cake. That one was not my cup of tea but I can see it being a favorite for anyone that loves guava. The service was wonderful. I've tried Pinnamel a couple times but hadn't ordered anything since they moved to their new location. And then Thanksgiving came around and my mom decided some treats would be a great addition to our family meal. So I selected 8 different options for our family of 4 - 2 desserts each! All of them were very tasty. My brother gobbled up the tres leches cake and loved that the caramel was salted. Mom loved the opera cake and the granny smith apple. The eclairs were creamy and delicious and the cigar was unexpected and very flavorful. There are no bad choices here. The ingredients are fresh, the look is stunning, and nothing has been too sweet. One of the boxes wasn't closed properly and there was too much room in a big box with only a few items so one of the items fell over and fell into another one which, because these pastries are so delicate, it ruined the aesthetic of them. After seeing this all over tik tok we had to try it out. I'm not a sweet eater by any means but love creative and fun foods. The pastries here were both. On our first visit we purchased the blueberry lemon tart (love these flavors but this pastry had very mild blueberry and lemon, the cookie was overpowering so we were highly disappointed 4/10. 4 is for presentation and effort). The pistachio berry French breast was a 12/10. Hands down our favorite. Super light, fluffy. The Chantilly cream and mousse I could eat by the spoonfuls. The cookie and crushed pistachio balanced out the texture. The heart was a banana cream with a hint of strawberry.. also very light and refreshing 7/10. The mushroom was a light and airy cheesecake with graham cracker crust I believe and a raspberry jelly, 7/10. Now I'm not a fan of orange flavor pastries typically but boy the orange pastry was amazing. If orange juice, a dreamsicle, and pineapple had a baby this would be it. Super light, refreshing, and I might say juicy 10/10. Cloud 9 with the poppyseed cake, guava jelly, and I think raspberry mousse with a thin hard shell was the heavier out of our choices but still light, 7/10. On our second visit we got the Pina coloda...i feel like this was the heaviest/ due to the dense coconut mousse. My husband loved it, i liked it but I'm not a huge coconut fan and that flavor was dominant.. but I love pine apple, per husband 8/10. I love anything hazelnut so we got the acorn... this was a bit of a let down. I didn't really get a hazelnut or praline flavor, and it was the richest of all of our purchases... but it was ok 6/10. Out of everything we have tried, the pistachio berry French breast is by far the best. At $8 a piece, the Pistachio and the pina Colado was worth the price. Staff were always friendly and the pastry chef is quite talented. Our first visit they did give us the wrong order and luckily the box they served it in had a window so I caught it before we left. The second time was fine, so always double check before leaving. They are always busy so mistakes will happen. The ambience is super cute and fun as well. I highly recommend.....we are determined to try all their pastries. read more

A few friends and I have heard all about this place, So we wanted to try. These sweet treats are phenomenal. You can tell a great deal of effort go into making these daily. All of the delicious options are aesthetically pleasing to the eye and the details are made with great precision. Most have a hard outer shell, soft inside & some even have real fruit pieces. The cigar taste like chocolate mousse with a hint of smokiness ( if that makes sense) the green apple is flavored like a Granny Smith Apple that is sweet instead of tart.
