Cuban Robusto
Bethany L.

First visit - Went with the Rasplove based on their recommendation and it was so smooth and refreshing and delicious. Intended to bring my husband home a bite but I couldn't stop! Brought him home a Cuban Robusto and he was equally as enthused! This was the perfect casual place to treat myself and leave the house to work done in the evening as they are open later than most coffee shops. They also have WiFi Prices feel a little steep at first glance but the fancy, delicious desserts are individual pieces of art and totally worth it.

It was our son's b-day and he wanted to try the "Viral Pastries" this shop did not disappoint. They turned on music and even sang to him!! And the Pastries were outstanding! Staff was just as sweet!! Thank you Pinnamel Sweets!!

So many delicious and beautiful treats to choose from! I highly recommend stopping in, selecting a few and having a seat in the cozy dining area to try them outs take home leftovers in a box for later. The staff is so friendly, the pastries delicious, overall very cool spot!

I absolutely adore this cute little shop! The vintage feel w/ mismatched furnitures, the different types of arts on the wall that go well together! So very unique and would love to go again soon! I ordered the infamous cloud nine and it was creamy and crunchy from the biscuit at the bottom and very delicious!

I think this is a good spot. Really good treats. A lot of flavor options to choose from, macaroons were flavorful & fresh. Service was fast & friendly. Quite a few places to sit & overall seems like a nice vibe.

The Milly vanilly is spongy and creamy and deliciousness. The Americano was actually so good and you could not beat the vibes inside. A lot of work goes into the pastries which makes their price point even more of a positive

Literally on Cloud Nine, this fun dessert lives up to it's name!

This cafe is absolutely phenomenal. The Cafe offers and an array of beautiful and fun-filled pastries and beverages. The pastries are intricately designed and unique. The cafe is decor is beautiful and vivid. The customer service is quick, efficient, and phenomenal. The cafe has a parking lot and offer evening hours. I would highly recommend trying out the Cloud Nine pastry as it definitely lives up to it's name! If you are looking for incredible pastries that not only taste great, but are uniquely DESIGNED check out this cafe you will not be disappointed it lives up to the hype.

If you're a fan of unique pastries, this place is a must visit! Their innovative concept of pastries shaped like fruits and foods is both fun and delicious. It's clear that a lot of care goes into the craftsmanship of each piece, and you can taste the quality in every bite. Truly amazing

Such a cute store! Parking is a little iffy, I drove by the entrance to the lot, so I had to park a little further down the street. Love the bright and beautiful pastries. Each one is super unique, and they're all so delicious! The blueberry lemon has such perfect blueberries and a sweet tart lemon flavor throughout. The magicalabaza has a delightful pumpkin flavor, with a fun filling! About $7 each, but definitely worth the price!

Just absolutely adorable inside with couches, chairs, and tables that were cute cottage / cafe-like. The service was fine, except the process for ordering is unknown. So, it would be nice if someone greeted you, directed you, or even said just a minute. The selection was so unique and creative. Each item was clearly thoughtfully created and there was pride in the presentation. We tried the Granny Smith, the Pear, and the Pina Colada. Each had such interesting flavors and textures. However, the Pina Colada was by far our favorite. The fresh creamy coconut and the pineapple jelly were exceptional. Wonderful place to try.

Chococaramel Éclair
Fat Man Reviews K.

I'll be honest, I'm not much of a sweets or dessert person. I like what I like, but I usually don't order or go looking for sweets outside of holiday candies or my birthday. The Fat Man's wife, on the other hand, has a bit of a sweet tooth. So, when she says, 'Let's find dessert,' that's what we did. We were in Louisville and headed over to Pinnamel Sweets to see what they had to offer. Pinnamel Sweets is a modern patisserie in Louisville, Kentucky, known for its artistic and innovative pastries, cakes, and Cuban-style treats. We ordered a few different options, including the Blue Lemon Tart. The blueberry flavor in the blueberry sauce and mousse was very pronounced, and the lemon came through in the background, complemented by a delicious lemon curd. It was sweet but not overly sweet, allowing for the savoring of all the flavors at once. The lemon cake was dry, but it had a good taste. The crust was dehydrated and stiff to cut through, but it had a good flavor and mouth feel. We sampled the Green Apple. The apple flavor of the filling was slightly tart, with a good cinnamon flavor, while the vanilla bean mousse is light and fluffy, with a good texture and taste that is not overly sweet. The green Jell-O top is vibrant and beautiful, with a unique texture and an apple flavor. We also had a Chococaramel Éclair. The caramel was really flavorful and thick, with an excellent mouthfeel. The chocolate mousse was light and had a subtle chocolate flavor. The eclair is slightly bitter, with an enjoyable crunch from the crackling, while the filling has a pudding-like texture and good chocolate flavor. Pinnamel specializes in French-inspired pastries with a tropical flair, as well as coffee and catering. They offer a variety of desserts, including eclairs, unique cream puffs, macarons, and cakes, with some gluten-free options available. The Fat Man says that Pinnamel Sweets is Fat Man Approved with 2 chin.

Oj Como Va?!?!!! Or rather, Oye, ¿cómo va?" a Spanish phrase that translates to "Hey, how's it going? This bakery is the answer to that question! Everything is going phenomenally! Everything here is absolutely amazing! A delicacy not only in taste but also visually beautiful pastries. Each time, I cannot wait to try the next treat. To be surprised at how flavors, textures and visually stunning presentations can become tantalizing to your senses and exceed expectations. The inside of the bakery is incredibly cute. A cozy vibe with comfortable seating. There are parking spaces directly out front and a few around the side. Easy to get in and out with exceptional service. The bakery is run by a family who serves every pastry and coffee fresh and made with love.

Absolutely adorable and equally delicious

Food was delicious, but the $10 hot chocolate was a joke. Don't waste your money on that. It was watery and unpleasant.

If you visit Louisville and don't stop here for a bite to eat, I feel sorry for your taste buds and…read morebelly. All of the reviews about the Danwich are TRUE! True people! Because it was bigger than my head (ok, maybe this is a slight exaggeration but not by much) i had to disassemble it to eat it in stages. First off were the waffle fries and I found them to be tasty, crunch and fluffy in all the right spots. Once the taters were off I cut that biggie baby in 8 'Oh My Danwich' slices. Y'all, I rarely find myself at a loss for words, even my high dollar, 10 letter ones, but I can't fill this space with all the adjectives I would want in describing this sanwich that would make you want breakfast for every meal. The sausage had that savory salty pork taste that makes you happy you're not a vegetarian with an egg slice that was fluffier than my German Shepherd's downy fur. The cheese even had a nice pull with the topper being their chive aioli. And that sandwich was just the beginning because I also ordered a Strawberry Cruffin, Bourbon Peach hand pie and a raspberry Danish to have as late night snacks. The handpie didn't do it for me. The peaches lacked flavor that I found myself asking bestie if she wanted it because I was jiat going to toss in the trash after just 2 bites. The strawberry mascarpone cream in the cruffin was silky smooth and berrylicious with the croissant being flaky and fluffy. It was almost like a sweet and savory after school snack. The kind of bakery item that keeps you coming back for more. And more. And the piece de resistance was the raspberry Danish. I've lived my 61 years learning to never turn down raspberry anything and today, my raspberry research paid off. One hundred percent tenfold. Even though the glaze drizzle was super sweet, the flaky danish offset it with that light crunch but fluffy innards. Y'all, with each bite I just fell more in love. The Danish was so good that when I came to my last bite not only was I sad that it would soon be gone but I wanted to cry. Cry y'all. Over a Danish! Yes, do it. You only live once. Order the Danwich & the Danish. You won't be sorry. You can pay me in Butchertown gift cards. Or Bourbon. Hubby's brother lives across the Ohio so, next time he goes to visit them I'm going with him. Just so I can drive over here and try their lunch items and grab more danishes. The folks were super friendly, the place both clean and quiet. Which, kinda surprised me because the food is so good I couldn't understand why there weren't lines around the block. That changed the longer we dined in as folks just started roaming in. I said to my friend that the Louisville folk must get started late in the day.

Got the bacon and egg biscuit sandwich and a chai tea latte. The biscuit sandwich was really good…read more The chai tea was good.

Cute bakery shop! Lots of pastries and homemade bread to choose from…read more I ordered a cinnamon roll to go along with the white cheddar grits and side of toast. The sourdough toast was delicious! I also really enjoyed the salted mocha coffee, the flavor was rich! The staff were all friendly and patient, we sort of held the line up because we were first timers but they were nice enough to allow us to order when we were ready and the gentleman who ran to the back just to bring me grape jelly, thank you!!!!

The amount of variety on the menu was pretty nice, looks like there's something here for most people. I had the Cobb Salad and was happy with the amount of colorful vegetables and toppings on my plate. It comes with mixed greens (glad to see more salads with mixed greens instead of romaine), roasted chicken, nice crispy bacon, a hardboiled egg, blue cheese, black olives, tomato, avocado and a good amount of dressing. It tastes very fresh and is a decent portion size, but in terms of flavor there wasn't much going on. It tastes like "greens" and that's kinda it. I don't know what the cause is, like it's seasoned but I just didn't get much flavor. Perhaps my pallet prefers stronger flavors over lighter ones, so take this with a grain of salt (figuratively, or maybe literally). If you're in the area, check em out.
