The food was ok ,service was bad bad bad ...we ordered the pizza when the guy working in the back not a waiter or waitress brought it out he just about hit my wife in the head with the tray the guy seemed pissed off didn't say a word looked like he had a big attitude , then service was slow after two beers we literally had to wave our waitress down .One of us at our table ordered ice cream and the same guy came out of the kitchen and gave it to her with no spoon , we asked for a spoon never got it , we had to go get our own......I ,we told our waitress and she did say sorry, that was it , I told some guy also that looked like a manager but was not , he looked like he was then looking but no manager was found I believe , as we left , three wait bartender staff were all outside smoking ...cool you get a break , but when I told them also I will never be back because the guy in the back , one lady said he don't speak English and that's ok .......oh and the she said your the only one that ever complained about him .....WOW ok I'll spread the word to all ..... read more

STOPPED IN but place is DEAD , DEAD , DEAD , NO MUSIC , being that it should be a ROARING 1920s Place , COME ON , this Place should have some Bands Reflecting that era , The Food was Good , but service was all confused on what Plate or Food goes where LOL , Who is running this Place ??? , I would love to have a Talk with him Or Them , I Can even do a lot better , I would have the Place PACKED , and a Line Outside , Roaring to get In. Ambience for the Place is GREAT for the 1920s Style . Maybe this place needs BAR RESCUE , I love the Place , But it just ISN'T HAPPENING , This place has so much Potential , with all the Space it has for Entertainment , Also you should be at least ready and stocked for the weekends on your Variety Of Draft Beers, If you want to just DRINK with No Entertainment , Or no REAL Music , This place is for you . I cannot say enough good things about Thornton Distilling Co. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and with just the right amount of olde-tyme charm. TDC crafts all of its own spirits in house, and their expert mixologists craft unique, but approachable cocktails so that there is truly something for everyone. Their draft craft beer menu is well-rounded, and everything I have had on their food menu (think elevated pub food) is wonderful. I recommend any of the tacos, but I also enjoy their hand-cut fries, bbq pork sliders, and homemade chips and salsa. The service is friendly and personable without pretentiousness--more like a local pub feel. You HAVE TO take the tour if you come in on a Saturday or Sunday. There is so much great history at Thornton Distilling Co., and their tour guides have a wealth of really fascinating tales from the prohibition era and beyond. TDC has also started its own bespoke trivia series every other month or so, which is really cool and fun! read more

Absolutely fabulous experience! The bartender, wait staff and the gentleman that served our food were all kind, attentive and willing to go above and beyond expectations. Although it was a busy Saturday, the staff took the time to explain the products made at the distillery, the inspirations for the delicious cocktails and that the food is made from scratch in-house. The historical tour was very informative and our guide really knew his stuff!! Manager introduced herself and made us aware of several upcoming events, definitely going to make this our go-to spot!! read more

my now husband and I had our wedding here in September 2024 and everything was perfect. the FOOD was incredible, the drinks were delicious and constantly flowing, and the ambiance was perfect. Plenty of space for 130 of our friends and family to dance and have a great time. Kim was excellent with moving the event along and keeping everything on schedule. The bartenders and all staff were amazing annd attentive. and the space made for the most beautiful photos! 10/10 read more

Haven't been there yet but my late hubby's Nam buddy owned it at one time. He says the cellar was haunted. Is it still? I'll def be going there to eat soon. The White House across the street had a tunnel that went up the distillery during prohibition. Al Capone had several sage houses there & in Steger. A co worker lived at the mansion in Steger & said it was very haunted. read more
