Our technician,Brian,was on time,called prior,came with shoe covers,quickly identified problems with toilet,gave us estimates and couple options to think about. Prices are horribly high now everywhere,but plumbing can't be avoided,so their price point is adequate to area,but service is superb. I was referred to Winds of Valley by a company in Southern Virginia that does not work in NoVa. When I contacted Sam about my Bosch condenser that stopped working, he came out free of charge to diagnose the problem. Sam immediately noticed that the condenser unit was not matched with the proper blower and evaporator. The company that installed the Bosch system made calculation errors and told me that the two different devices would work well together; they didn't and quit working after about 2 years. Sam gave me his suggestions, showed me his prices and let me make my own decision. I made my choice and was still skeptical. Sam literally wrote into the contract that I had a year to decide if I was happy with the equipment he installed and that if I wasn't, he would replace what he installed. I never took him up on that offer. The system he installed is quiet and dehumidifies the house, which is something my other system did not do, even though I was told it would. Sam, John and Joesph removed the old components, installed the new ones and cleaned up everything. They swept up after themselves, removed the old stuff, the new boxes and made sure I was happy with everything before leaving. They also walked me through the settings on the new thermostat. They also provided a year of maintenance with the system. Two years later, I replaced the water heater and again called Winds of Valley. The water heater replacement process was as smooth and efficient as the process for the HVAC system. Sam is a small business owner who knows what it means to provide great service, use quality products and keep customers happy. If all contractors were as good as this company, contractors would have a better reputation. I have complete faith in Winds of Valley and highly recommend the company.

All I needed was my dryer vents / duct cleaned and I called MVM home service because of these reviews and I wanted to write one too No frills. Seem very honest. They sent a technician named Edwardo. He was super professional and kind. Explained everything beginning and end. Didn't lie about the charges. Said it was 165 over the phone and thats all I paid. I liked them a lot and plan to use them for hvac maintenance in the future. I highly recommend!

Of course the owner of MVM said the leak started after they put in 7 quarts of refrigerant. I have no proof when it started. Did he fail to find a leak before he put in all that refrigerant? The owner never responded to my texts. Several days passed so I contacted another company. Krafft Service was recommended so I called them last week. They got a coil in a week and was installed today. MVM Home service has a lot of 5 star reviews, but reviews are not always honest.
