Hello I normally dont write reviews. I had a horrible experience with another company here in NOVA who tried to over/ uncharge the service and tried to sell me extra bells and whistles for like $800. All I needed was my dryer vents / duct cleaned and I called MVM home service because of these reviews and I wanted to write one too No frills. Seem very honest. They sent a technician named Edwardo. He was super professional and kind. Explained everything beginning and end. Didn't lie about the charges. Said it was 165 over the phone and thats all I paid. I liked them a lot and plan to use them for hvac maintenance in the future. I highly recommend! read more

27 days after MVM Home Service put in 7 quarts of refrigerant the AC stopped working. I called MVM and the owner sent a tech to check it out. The tech said there was a leak. Of course the owner of MVM said the leak started after they put in 7 quarts of refrigerant. I have no proof when it started. Did he fail to find a leak before he put in all that refrigerant? I will never know. I know we are out $1,796. The tech who came out said he would order a part and it would be here in 2 or three days.. after a few days i contacted him and left messages but he responded once but I texted again and he never responded. The owner never responded to my texts. Several days passed so I contacted another company. Krafft Service was recommended so I called them last week. They got a coil in a week and was installed today. MVM Home service has a lot of 5 star reviews, but reviews are not always honest. I'm not saying those for MVM are not honest but I have had companies on Yelp and Amazon offer me gift cards or money if I will remove anything negative I have written about them and some even offer me something before I write anything, I don't trust MVM Home Service. My Carrier Furnace had stopped working. I sent a service request via Yelp for heating repair technicians. About 4 companies responded but MVM contacted me as they were able to come out first thing in the morning. They provided diagnosis and a great quote to replace blower motor. Once the motor was installed they discovered that my pressure switch was also faulty. They provided the additional work to replaced the pressure switch. Their technicians were superbly competent and fixed all my issues. Mauricio, Danny and Edwardo were superbly professional. Incredible service - Danny was so friendly and our dogs loved him. Not only did Danny quickly identify the issue, but he also invited us to watch him as he explained what he was checking. We decided after a few years to have our HVAC system inspected and our ducts cleaned. Mauricio and his partner were wonderful: on-time, polite, friendly, efficient. They actually told us we did not need our ducts cleaned yet, and that our 2 heat pumps are fine for the winter, that we may need some cleaning before running the AC next summer. My HVAC went out - not blowing cool air. Called M&S and they couldn't get out here until Monday despite being gold members. Called FH Furr, they quoted me $3K to clean coils and replace capacitor. Called MVM on a Sat night at 8pm. They were out here Sun morning 8am. Fixed the issue at a fraction of the cost. Mauricio was respectful, fast, identified the issue, didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary services and FIXED the issue in an hour. I will never use one of these corporate owned services again. Read good reviews online from other platforms so decided to reach out for hvac maintenance as I had just moved into a house. Mauricio the owner was fantastic! Polite, friendly, and great service. Didn't try to alarm me to get services I didn't need. This is an honest and high quality small business. Highly recommend and look forward to using them again. 10-26-20 Update: This is an organized business. They send e-mail/text notifications for appointments and when the agent is on their way. Their invoicing system is smooth also. They are timely and won't keep you waiting. I had a deep cleaning of all the ducts done and I can tell the difference. Their team was very thorough. I also got a steam humidifier and air purification system with installation with them. They provide recommendations but there is never any pressure to get a particular service. Our humidifier stopped working and so I did a few DIY checks and changes but was not able to get it going. Mauricio showed up ( same day on a holiday) and started troubleshooting. We had a wiring issue which he diagnosed and then fixed promptly. He was very professional, ethical and the charge was very reasonable.
