I was searching for affordable TV Mounting Services and came across ThoseTechGuys on Yelp. Initially, they were providing me with a quote that didn't quite meet my budget considering that I only wanted a 32" TV mounted in a small bedroom. I was about to cancel my request until they stated that they'd be able to match the quote I received from another professional. It wasn't much of a difference, though still within budget, however the main thing was that they were able to mount right away as I had some guests visiting. They showed up during the specified time frame, and were very quick, efficient and friendly. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for the job to be done promptly but efficiently. These are 2 young guys who used to work for Comcast & have now started their own business. They have full time jobs elsewhere so they do this in their spare time. I hired them to wall mount my tv. They arrived late however they did give me $10 off the total price because of that. We discussed the height & I was told that they needed to mount it 2" higher than normal due to an outlet on the other side of the wall. I have since spoken with a business that said the mount did not have to be 2" higher. After a week of having to crane my neck to look at my tv I called them to come out & fix the mount. They told me they were on a job but that they would call me the next day. 10 minutes later they called (after obviously having discussed it with each other) & said they would come out, but that it would cost me an additional $80, after I had already paid $125 originally. And when I asked for their business license number/bond number, they said they'd have to talk to their attorney. There shouldn't be any problem in giving your business license information if you're a legit business. You want people to know that information. I think these two individuals are inexperienced and if they're going to be in business, they need to be in business; not part time when they're not working their other jobs. I don't think they know what they're doing. I wouldn't recommend them. I'm now stuck with a too high wall mounted tv. UPDATE: After their response, my review stands. I bought a MantleMount from the official website and ThoseTechGuys were an authorized dealer for installation. I reached out via Yelp and Julian, the owner, was quick to respond and scheduled me in 3 days later. John and Jared came out for the actual installation and were friendly and very knowledgeable of the MantelMount. The new Samsung TV's have a massive One Connect box that is extremely awkward to position with when using mounts but John and Jared did the best they could to accommodate this inconvenience. Unfortunately, the TV was mounted but slightly unleveled when fully extended out. They had to leave the job unfinished with concerns of stripping the screws if they redid the mounting so they confirmed with Julian that they would come back and correct the issue free of charge. 2 weeks later, Julian and Peter came out to correct the issue. They came with extra screws and the job took only 30 minutes. They were able to perfectly center and level my TV. Even though the job took a little longer than originally intended, I'm happy Julian was communicative and able to eventually complete the job. I would definitely recommend these guys for installing a MantelMount and trust their expertise for any future mountings. read more

Due to a bathroom being behind the wall I was putting the TV on, they advised it best not to install a recessed box given the high likelihood of there being plumbing inside the wall, but we're able to quickly pivot to a standard install. I never knew who to call when I had computer issues, but I now have Jake's number saved. My laptop didnt turn on any longer and I thought I had lost all of my photos of my kids. After pressing send on my quote request, I got a response from Jake in seconds. He was able come our home the very next day to look at my laptop.
