Very disappointing experience and poor follow-through…read more I contacted this company for a time-sensitive electrical issue at my rental property in Renton after my tenant raised safety concerns. The technician came out, identified several issues that needed repair, and provided two pricing options: a higher price if the work was done the same week, and a lower price if scheduled the following week. I approved the early-next-week option and asked for confirmation of the schedule and final cost. After that, communication stopped completely. No confirmation, no follow-up, and no response to my approval. When I reached out again over a week later to schedule the work, I was told they were "too busy." This was after my time and my tenant's time had already been spent, and after I had clearly communicated approval and intent to proceed. If they were unavailable or no longer interested in the job, that should have been communicated upfront. Instead, I was left hanging and now have to restart the process with another electrician and inconvenience my tenant again. This was an unprofessional experience with poor communication and unreliable customer service. I would not rely on this company again for time-sensitive or tenant-occupied properties.

(I'm a really picky customer :) ). He recommended me to get an EV charger level 2 to take advantage of the rebate ending in February, I was not even aware of that. He also worked with the city seamlessly and in a timely fashion. When the work was scheduled, his team showed up and in a day they did all the work without any assistance. The whole installation looks great, the team has great attention to details and they have been really accommodating my asks. Great job Alfred and Ohm Electrical team!

Roger came promptly and timely for the scheduled morning appointment. Very cheery and nice, he had only begun to work a few minutes, when he let me know he was finished. My "dead" outlet was my own daft oversight of a related wall-switch connected to the respective outlet (alas, for as long as I have lived here, I have never use that switch and must have knocked it to "off" at some point... silly me). Roger thankfully waived any charge for the work-order and we both had a big laugh about it ;D. Greenvolt got back to me the most promptly and was able to give me the most comprehensive information about a quote, and basic information about what to expect in the possible process of fixing stuff. They were professional and had me DocuSign an initial consultation process agreement which amounted to an hour of consultation or $200/hour. I had other places offer less pricey hourly rates: but they didn't seem to have the same feel or professionalism so I opted for Greenvolt. Also their scheduling was almost immediate. Which I really appreciated. Brian, the Electrician was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and was respectful. He explained the issues being much more related to the antiquated nature of my circuitry rather than some deep problem that needed some cutting into the dry wall or replacing something. He fixed the faulty wires and showed us what the issues were and how to adjust it again if it kept happening. All and all it cost us $200 plus tax, and nothing more. The only minor problem I have looking back at the experience is that the light has started to flicker again and I will have to get back in there and do what he said to fix it. Makes me wonder of if I would have been happier for a more detailed fix. But for the price and the fact that Brian the electrician was so cool and entire experience was so good... Tessa, at the office, texted me to confirm my appointment time and included a photo of Rich, my service technician. Rich was fantastic. He showed up on time, was extremely knowledgeable and very communicative. As expected, after his very comprehensive inspection and testing of my Furnace and A/C some serious issues were found. The 20 year old furnace had a crack in the heat exchanger, which Rich showed me on his camera. The 30 year old A/C had lost a significant amount of its effectiveness to cool my home and was wasting a lot of energy. Rich was there almost 2 hours and I got all this at an amazing special price of $29! He asked me if I wanted someone to come out and give me a free estimate to replace my furnace and A/C, and had the office schedule someone to come out when I returned from my upcoming trip. Two weeks later Dan Severt showed up on time to take measurements and collect the information needed to properly size the new systems I needed and provided me with a detailed estimate. He explained my options, explained the installation process, and covered possible financing options. As it was possible for me to get a loan through GreenSky to make monthly payments with no penalty for early payoff and no interest if paid in full within 18 months, I decided to proceed. Dan called the office to schedule the install for me and got me started with the GreenSky loan process. A short while later, Tessa texted me information about my install to begin the very next day. Later Tessa sent me a text to confirm my appointment and included photos of the technicians that would be coming. Next day she texted me that they were on their way and included a tracking link so I could monitor their progress. Technicians Obet and Cody arrived to begin the installation. As is usually the case with 40+ year old homes, and today's updated building codes and newer, more complicated "smart" systems, a few issues popped up. At all times the guys kept me informed of the issues, explained what my options were, and then executed the necessary workarounds. Dan also made himself available to come by personally to see the issues for himself and answer any questions I had and offer advice when asked. A short while later, a highly experienced Carlos arrived to assist the guys with problem resolution. They guys worked really hard from 9am to 10pm in order to complete their job for the electrician coming the next day. They cleaned up the job site and hauled away the old units. Meanwhile, back at the office, Sarah who had processed the necessary permit(s) texted me that she had made arrangements for the two required inspections, one for the electrical work and the other for Snohomish County building code adherence. She informed me that those two entities would reach out to me to set things up. Later I received a text that the electrician, Fredo, would arrive early the next morning. Fredo showed up on time and completed the electrical work in time for Benjamin to arrive. Benjamin completed a checkout, testing and startup of the system and demonstrated how to program the new smart thermostat. All worked perfectly. Without exception, everyone involved was timely, possessed excellent communication skills, was organized and highly skilled at their respective jobs. All of them were positive and courteous and respectful of me and my property. This was, by far, one of the best experiences I've ever had in a job requiring skilled labor! Kudos to As You Wish for having quality people and using quality suppliers for their HVAC systems! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to invest in updating their systems, or in having them inspect and service their existing equipment. Ordinarily I would have sought out multiple estimates before hiring someone to do such a big job. I have no idea how the cost for As You Wish to do this job compares to the numerous other competitors in this sector, but I'm kind of glad I didn't. Otherwise I may have gone with someone cheaper, who knows? But one thing I know for sure is that I couldn't have found anyone better!
