Charlie's Car Wash provides me a consistent, top-notch level of service each time I come by. Sure, I could do the wash myself, but when time is an issue and I'm going to get the same result, I will pay for the convenience factor. I signed up for one of the unlimited monthly wash plans ($40-ish) and I have absolutely gotten my money's worth out of that contract. I just pull up to the gate, the system recognizes my license plate and pulls up my options, and I drive right over to the entryway. The whole process takes maybe one minute from entry to exit. If I want extras, such as a hand detail, then I am given an option to tag that on to my overall order. The vacuums are free, they are easy to pull into, and there's always one open. You can always add a hand-detail option for $25-ish and I'd bet you would be very pleased with the level of detailed service that is provided! I know that some people can be finicky about who touches their car, but I feel pretty safe that my sweet ride gets treated carefully and mindfully each and every time. No fuss, no muss, and everyone is always friendly. Maybe a monthly subscription isn't in your range, but it's a deal if you are going weekly or more (like me) and gets my full seal of recommendation. Either way, Charlie's treats you right and delivers excellent service and value.

I have a…read more2023 392 Rubicon with only 18,000 miles and had always stored it in my garage and always used touch-less car wash. I needed it to be cleaned since I had coolant leak smell in my engine and I thought why not get the exterior cleaned too. Bad idea. There were scratches on my car, trimming on my vehicle melted and was somehow pulled from its original place. I brought it to a third party collision center to assess the damages and I was told there were chemical burns on my car and rotational scratches from not using the correct buffer. Total estimate is $5,500 in damages! I specifically asked Shammeriffic if they wash and shine the vehicle by hand and they said yes, well that wasn't true. They wanted me to bring my car back in so they can "fix" the problem, but why would I bring my vehicle in if they caused the damage. Please do yourself a favor and read all reviews, not just the 5 stars.

This location of Waterway is our "home" location and the one we frequent the most. Once you go through the process of a wash a time or two, you get the general flow of how it all works. That said, those first couple times, there's quite the "system" to understand and get used to. They have employees who come to help out with what type of wash you want, and they do a good job of assisting with all aspects. The wash itself is really good! You can really get just about anything from a bare-bones exterior-only wash, all the way up to a full detail, inside and out! To make your money back on the full-monty membership, you'll need to get a weekly full detail wash, and we try pretty hard to do that. The employees are always very professional, very helpful, and they do a great job washing and detailing your car! You can tell they have a good training program and/or culture, as most of the car wash employees appear to be pretty young, but they do an excellent job overall. Why four stars instead of five? Like I said - they ain't giving these things away. The value proposition is really, really tight... Not sure I'd say I feel like I'm getting MORE than what I'm paying for...and it's probably slightly the other way. That said, we are well into our second year of the membership program, and I have a good feeling we'll re-up next year as well! There's nothing like a perpetually clean set of wheels!

It didn't even wash the dust off my bumpers or remove little amount of bugs off my windshield. I could have done a better job with my garden hose and no soap. In the past I have been very pleased with this place.
