But since I'm a black woman in work out clothes, she probably assumed I didn't have anything. In a lot of these places, you walk in as a black person and the vibe completely changes when it's time to give us their service. I get that vibe a lot here in south florida (can't wait to move). I'm going back to the woman who usually does my eyebrows (my girl Sunitha, look her up, she's friendly, more affordable, and she's been doing my eyebrows for years. I always tip her very well because she's always been kind and she's never been disrespectful to me). I live further away from her, but today let me know that Raz Brow is on some bs, and I should just make the drive to Sunitha. The gas money is worth it. Do not go here, especially if you're a black woman who just needs her eyebrows to not look crazy when she goes into work... it gives racist vibes.

She also gave me tips on maintaining them and what to use to help them grow in the places I have slight gaps. Another thing I noticed while I was sitting there waiting for my friend is that the brow artist wouldn't take her next appointment if let's say she was waiting 10 minutes for the tint to set on her 1st appointment. This is something I've experienced all the time and really dislike at salons because then you're stuck waiting till they're done with a person that came after you. So I really like the fact that they gave their full attention to you and your appointment. I will honestly being going back here for the simple fact that they overall provide a great service. I have been having my eyebrows threaded for twenty years as I'm from New York City and lived in Jackson Heights. The women at this salon know what they are doing. You either get how good they are or don't understand the art of the threading. While it's true that in New York City I pay less for the service, I also get less. These women do a wonderful, even job in terms of shaping and efficiency every time. It simply depends on how important your eyebrow shape and grooming is to you. For me, it is important and worth every cent that I pay. The service is wonderful. Sometimes I have to wait for 15 minutes. It is worth it! I dare you to try other threaders in the area. Good luck. I must say the best eyebrow threading place in the area. I have been threading for a very long time. I was not very happy with the place I was going to and found this place through Yelp. She has done an amazing job on my eyebrows and the lip . They charged $20 for eyebrows which is well worth it. A very good find and will be going back to them. I came in after trying to grow my brows out & fearful that I would mess them up. She came highly recommended and now I know why! Her studio is gorgeous and welcoming, not to mention extremely clean. She is professional and takes the time to listen to what you want with your brows. The wax process itself was essentially painless, and I have a super low pain tolerance. The appointment in it's entirely took no longer than 30 minutes and she offered me a great and doable plan on how to get my eyebrows where I want them to be. The store offers alot of Indian items; from clothes, jewelry, accessories a few more items; for men, woman and children. Some items on display however do seem a bit out dated, compared to the fashion and style of today's designers. The prices for items in the shop seem on the higher side, but considering there are not many Indian shops around, and majority of items are coming from India, it's rare findings. The shop also has beauty services: hair, eyebrow threading, and even Hannah! I honestly never knew this shop was here, but now that I've been made aware I'll be coming in more often for some services and when I need alterations on my Indian ware. I also need to make a shout out to the kind woman who works in the shop along side the owner (I can't remember her name!!). She was extremely sweet on the phone with me, and when I was in the shop she definitely helped a lot!
