While finalizing my purchase, another customer walked off with my bag. I called the store from the parking lot when I realized. The staff admitted they saw it on camera and was going to look for the person in the mall. Called me back and said he couldn't find them. I had to prompt him to ask how they were going rectify it. The "owner " is in the background and says tell her it's your birthday and you need to leave. The young man told me that and that the owner would call back. I asked was he calling me back immediately. He said yes and hung up. Well he never did and he wasn't going to. So I walked in. I met the owner in the store and he met me with aggravation. The owner, instead of offering help, accused me of "pressuring" him just because I needed the situation resolved immediately. I was leaving town for a game which was the whole reason I was there in the first place. It also seemed as though he was insinuating that I wasn't being honest. Telling me they gave me a bag and receipt. Which turn out it was only the new items not the original ones I didn't want to exchange. I remained calm but firm and just asked for basic accountability. Yet he kept tell me I needed to calm down and told me I was threatening him by telling him I was going to have to call the police if this wasn't handled. Sir, that's not a threat. That s what people do when people steal their things !!!! The owner tried to dismiss me, denied the obvious evidence, disregarded his own employee who looked at the footage and called another person to pull up the cameras because he didn't know how. The person over the phone saw the man take the bag. He argued with him saying he did ask that customer and he said "no" as if people don't lie!!!!! Only after the person over the phone doubled down that the bag was indeed taken and described the person did they finally admit the truth. He then asked me what items was I missing and I had to say.... You should start this conversation by offering an apology. No customer should be treated like they're a nuisance, especially when they're the one wronged. I had to witness the owner apologize to other customers about me, as if I was causing a scene when all I wanted was my belongings back. In the end, the footage confirmed exactly what I said all along. If I could have done a refund I would have taken every single item back ! If this store wants loyalty, they need to start by believing their customers and treating people with basic respect. I wouldn't wish this treatment on anyone. I will never spend a dime in this place ever again. I'll drive to Chattanooga to get my Tennessee gear from now on

Of all the product I brought in, they took one shirt and paid me $7. I had Ralph Lauren slacks, shirts, and a lot of other excellent quality items. That $7 didn't even pay for the gas to drive there. No thanks - pretentious counter clerk. Maybe they think they know their customer's wants and desires, but I will just go to Goodwill and help someone find a real bargain.

I used to buy clothing for the film industry, and this is one of the places I would check out. If you're in the Kennesaw area this store across from Town center mall and it's amazing. Some of my favorite fines have been vintage coach purses in perfect condition, suede jackets, vintage lingerie, vintage concert T-shirts, designer shoes, a Versace dress, vintage Ralph Lauren items, belts (I think I am addicted to belts), and lots of great Anthropologie pieces. The District at Howell Mill opened in fall 2006, about a year after nearby Atlantic Station opened, so the two mixed-use developments are the same generation. The District is far smaller and less unique, but it still packs a punch. At the time of writing this review, some of the big name retail tenants include: * GameStop * Office Depot * Petsmart * TJ Maxx * Ulta * Verizon * Walmart And some of the restaurant/cafe tenants include: * Extreme Teriyaki * La Parrilla * Starbucks * Subway * Which Wich The lineup is filled with chains which is hardly exciting stuff, but it's much better than what was here before which was nothing. As a homeowner in Atlantic Station, which has a Publix and a Target within short walking distance of my home, I still find myself regularly coming to The District (Walmart) to get groceries and household supplies because of better prices, selection, and convenience (one-stop shopping). Surprisingly, I've found the produce at Walmart to be consistently stocked and fresh. Aesthetically speaking, the shopping center is nicely designed. It's well-integrated into the neighborhood and not imposing. Instead of large, freestanding, cookie-cutter buildings with huge asphalt lots, which are a dime a dozen in the suburbs, The District conceals its big box retailers (e.g. Walmart, TJ Maxx, Ulta) from street view. There's multilevel parking and it's plentiful. I haven't been to another Walmart that offers covered parking. Over the years, the property has been maintained and has held up well. I've been a customer to several of the businesses at The District and have generally been satisfied. My favorite optometrist, Dr. Kim Raharja, works at the Atlanta Eye Center (inside the Walmart) on-site. I've also known and visited folks who live (or have lived) at the Alexander at the District apartment community, also on-site. The apartments seemed fine. The District is located right next to I-75 at Howell Mill Road (exit 252B).

The store also has accessories like jewelry and sandals. I was surprised to learn that their clothing is manufactured in California, which is refreshing to know.
