Perfect day for this incredible patio seating area.

Amazing folks working here. Food was incredible. Speedy service and delivery. The place reminds me of an updated 1950's diner. It's very cute and the outdoor seating was spectacular. We will be back.

This place is just adorable. I've been twice and both times were such great experiences. The first time I came. I had a seat at the bar and had a great conversation with the bartender that included some on point recommendations. I had a great drink and a wonderful burger. The second time I dined in with my husband and a couple of friends. we split some apps and my husband and I were able to split a sandwich and still walk away feeling full and satisfied. The hummus appetizer was my absolute favorite. I like that the vibe here is upscale diner with options for every dietary restriction or preference.

I went here for my birthday dinner after wanting to try it for a while and I was not disappointed. I love the retro vibes and the restaurant is very spacious & clean. The patio is gorgeous and that's where we chose to sit since it was beautiful day. Service was quick and our waitress checked on us frequently. The cocktail list is well crafted. One of the better espresso martinis I've had in the area. Definitely order the shrimp corn dogs! The salads are huge and have so much flavor packed into them. My friend had their pasta and it looked incredible. Can't wait to eat here again!

Wow! I have nothing but praise for this place! The staff were so kind and welcoming, and the building was a cute vintage diner feel. We had brunch here and it was amazing. The burrito and especially the shakshouka were delicious. From when we walked in the door until we walked out we had a great experience. We will definitely be back, maybe in the summer so we can check out the cute patio they have.

The chopped salad was fresh and tasted good but small and very little rotisserie chicken on it (and no bacon or corn as menu describes)

Three Birds is bright and cheery with tons of natural light. We went at noon on a weekday and got seated quickly. The tables are very close together, so much so that when the woman next to us got in and out, her rear end was on our table which was awkward to say the least. Our server introduced himself and brought us water and gave us some time to look over the menu. It was my first time there and my sister-in-law recommended the chopped salad with rotisserie chicken so I got that. She got the veggie burger which she enjoyed. My salad was fresh and tasted good but there was *maybe* an ounce of chicken on it. I kept thinking I'd find more as I ate into the salad but the entire amount were the few bites on top of the salad. As I'm writing this review, I looked back at the online menu and realized there was supposed to be corn and bacon on it as well, which there was none. I debated giving 3 stars but we love this restaurant group, so I think I'll go back again but will be more aware of my meal when it's brought out.

    Vegan breakfast burritos and tots

I met a few friends for brunch recently. I had the vegan breakfast burrito because I can't eat eggs. It was very filling and the chutney it came with made it extra tasty. The atmosphere here is always lovely and I can't wait to come back when the weather warms up to sit on the patio.

Patio was shady and fun place

Fun place and it is amazing to see the remodel opening up all those windows creates a real open inviting atmosphere. We grabbed a table outside the tall trees provided shade and a nice breeze even on a smoking hot day. The waiter was prompt and offered recommendations. I had the fried chicken thigh sandwich which was very taste others grabbed the smash burger and really enjoyed it. The chips were seasoned very well and I loved the crisp shoestring fries. The cocktails were tasty and reasonably priced, but I think they need to build out the beer list a bit. Over all a fun dinner and I love the look and feel of the place. Stop in and give them a try.

    Caesar salad with pulled chicken

My friends and I ordered the Caesar salad with added pulled chicken. The presentation was beautiful, but unfortunately it lacked flavor. We mostly just tasted the lettuce. On a positive note, I also ordered a cup of chili, which was good and enjoyable.

We will be returning to Three Birds for sure! The brunch was amazing. Everything from the hash browns to the Bloody Mary was top notch. Service and atmosphere was dialed in. We want to try their dinner menu. Support home grown!!

Been wanting to try out this new restaurant. I highly suggest grabbing a reservation. It's still new and was busy. Even with a reservation we had to wait a few minutes but the service was great all night. Walking up to the restaurant itself you immediately notice the large, amazing patio. It would have been great to sit out there on a nicer night weather wise. Inside is full of natural light from the big windows all the way around the building. Loved the simple and stylish decor. I especially loved the famous three 'birds' framed in the bar area. Very cute touch. Our waiter, David, took great care of us all night. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to offer suggestions and answer questions. It was very loud inside, so don't expect a quiet, intimate meal. As I said, I would have probably done the patio if it had been a nicer night weather wise. It's a tad on the expensive side but the food was delicious. We will definitely be back and try more of what they have to offer.

Today's adventure brought us to Chef Danes first restaurant, a global comfort food diner called Culture. Culture is a pleasant, if a bit noisy at times, visceral experience of its namesake. The menu full of unique yet familiar dishes and ideas Invites one's culinary curiosity yet doesn't become unapproachable. On a different day I would have tried their Louisiana catfish, but today Patrick and I were on a mission. The specials were calling. Patrick and I have been trying to slowly become part of the Dayton community and Patrick's new job at Little Fish (a nearby bar and restaurant) has propelled us to dive further into our exploration. Patrick was made aware of Cultures new specials, a Thai cheesesteak and chicken tikka masala fries. We had to try them. So on this crisp and cold mid spring afternoon we decided to become cultured. First off we got the Chicken Tikka Masala Fries and we were quite impressed. I'm not the most familar with British Indian food (maybe a bit more than the average midwesterner but not by much) and the fries definitely brought a pleasant experience that Patrick an I enjoyed...but we didn't finish all of it at once. We saw a glimpse of what was to come and we didn't want to eat to fast and fill up to much. The picture I took does not do the Thai cheesesteak justice. It just had a certain presence coming off of the kitchen. We were sitting at the bar watching it all unfold for the most part and the smell was subtle yet hypnotizing. we finished maybe 3/5ths of the fries and waited for the sandwich. Once it got to use I cut it in half, Took as good of a pic as I could, Gave Patrick his half, And dug in. It might have been a bit too hot resulting in me burning my tongue but the flavor was encompassing. I could taste all the elements coming together in such a unique groove. Could be chalked up to just a damn good cheesesteak, they tend to illicit similar responses, but still. The first words out of my mouth after finishing that first bite were "holy shit". I then maybe finished the sandwich a bit fast but I couldn't help my self, i had to have it. It was so damn good. Well worth trying while they have it. To say anymore would spoil the experience. Anyway, I've rambled enough. I encourage you try Culture for yourself! Thank you. Drew, from Dayton

For our main courses, we had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, the Salar Breakfast, and an Omelette. Everything was generous and perfectly prepared. The smoked salmon was balanced nicely -- flavorful without overpowering the dish -- and the poached eggs were done just right with a slight firmness. The spinach pairing, both cooked beneath the salmon and fresh on the side, worked really well. The ham on the Salar Breakfast was a standout: smoky, flavorful, and not overly salty. The omelette was cooked perfectly as well. Service was outstanding from the moment we walked in. We were seated immediately, our server was attentive throughout, and every request was handled without hesitation. The restaurant was also spotless, including the restrooms. Highly recommend.
