Went last night for solo dinner after a busy day at work. Bartender was kind and you could tell had her regulars there. Salad was good, but underwhelming. Fries were decent but not hot, luke warm at best, although the plate they were on was scalding. Wine selection was decent. I chose a Sauvignon Blanc which was good. Nice place, but definitely could use some TLC to get it back to the ambiance and quality it was when it opened. read more

First of all our server was amazing! I'm 99% sure her name was Crystal but I'm kind of embarrassed I don't 100% remember. She was funny and patient with our party of 8 and all our separate checks. If I were rating our experience on just our server I'd be giving Three Bulls 5 stars for sure. I ordered the 5 oz sirloin and Parmesan cream corn. My entree also came with the family salad which is delicious. I ordered mine medium rare and unfortunately it was a little tough. My husband ordered the 10 oz sirloin medium rare and he said his was very tender so it might have just been my cut. Both my husband and I took one bite and needed to add salt and pepper. I wish they had seasoned it a bit more in the kitchen so I didn't need to at the table. Our sides were tasty and we both enjoyed them. After dinner we indulged in one of their desserts. We chose the molten brownie sundae. The brownie was warm and fudgy but unfortunately not at all molten and we looked! Maybe we should have chosen the Moravian sugar cake bread pudding. We have found that so many restaurants lack interesting dessert options. Many are just getting a premade option from their food suppliers and never creating much from scratch. Such a shame. The vibe inside Three Bulls is typical steakhouse decor. They have the dark interior and a mix of booths and tables. Overall our experience was good mostly because our server was exceptional. First, I'm a long haul trucker. I'm only home 8 days out of the month. So when my love asked me to a romantic dinner, obviously I said Yes. He made reservations. Granting it was a Wed night, but that's one of my days off. We arrived on time 6:30. We got seated in a small booth by the bar?? It was April 1st 2026, day of the shuttle launch. In short, seating sucked, we weren't even asked if that was ok. The waitress was ok, she seemed overwhelmed. Then in the last 5 seconds before the launch, which really didn't matter to me, but my man wanted to watch it, they cut either to a different channel with commercials, WTH? As a great woman I wanted him to see it. Hmmm Then the appetizer came, was good, shrimp with stuffed crab. But only 4 and the shrimp wasn't cooked all the way. When our ribeye came they were not what we asked for, I order Rare to medium, came too rare, he ordered medium, came rare.. And for the price, definitely expected a thicker steak. Definitely will try one more time on a weekend when I have vacation. Only time I'm home on a weekend. Maybe the chef will be better, seating will be better, and the steaks will be thicker. Had dinner here a few times now and it is consistently good. A landmark destination building, the facility and parking is its own freestanding enity. From the steer scuplture out front, stone wall accents and heavy wooden dark interior, three bulls has its own style and flair. The hostess station is center walking in, there is usually two or more greeters when you walk in. Reservations are recommended on busy nights and weekends, otherwise expect a wait. We always make reservations, we walked in at our seating time and are always greeted and seated within a minute or so. Service is very good here, several professional waiters work here and it shows in the overall dining experience. We have tried a variety of the dishes over our visits and each has been good to very good. The Tater skins and Thai Shrimp are both good appetizers, as is the Warm Pimento dip. All of the various entrees' we have tried, as well have been very good. The Bourbon Pork Chop is really tasty, also the Blackened Salmon is an exceptional meal. The Ribeye, also is a very good choice. We have tried a couple of the salads too, the Caesar is a solid choice and the Three Bulls is as well. Three Bulls is located very close to our home and we've thought about coming in numerous times. Open daily at 4pm, we stopped in about 4:15pm. (Note, they are closed on Monday's). We proceeded to the hostess station and were asked if we had a reservation, to which we replied no. They then proceeded to seat us at a booth in the bar area. We are unsure if those without reservations are typically seated in the bar area or not. (as time went on the dining room area really began filling up and there was a decent amount of people waiting to be seated when we left.) We are totally comfortable sitting in the bar area and noted they also have counter seating at the bar which we suspect is always open to customers as a quick option. We were provided menus and our server stopped to take our drink orders. We also asked him a few questions about his favorite items on the menu. Ultimately, we decided to order the Old School onion ring appetizer (House-cut and breaded with horseradish mayo) to share. My wife chose the salmon burger (fresh salmon patty, lettuce, tomato, avocado spread with no garlic aioli) and the Three Bulls side salad. I chose the Cowboy Burger (CAB Burger, American and Swiss cheeses, grilled onions, BBQ and sliced bacon) with French fries. My wife's side salad was delivered and it looked pretty good, but she prefers romaine, spinach or a spring mix versus iceberg lettuce. Our onion rings were brought out and they looked good but since the menu noted they were hand breaded we were hoping they would be similar to other hand breaded ones we've had and these were more like a cornmeal type onion ring and they lacked flavor. We also did not like the horseradish mayo served with it and asked our server for ranch. Our entrees were brought out in a timely manner and both looked yummy. We both enjoyed our meals but nothing blew us away. The prices for our items were comparable with other restaurants in the area. We don't splurge for steak in a restaurant often as we prefer to prepare them at home because they are so expensive. We came here for a birthday dinner with a moderate size group (10) and were able to get reservations with only a few days notice. The table was ready even though we were a few minutes early which I appreciate! The ambiance was just right, not too bright or dim, not too loud, the seats are comfortable. Tables were a bit cramped for a group but that's an awfully minor complaint. Service was excellent, and our server (Al) was really a shining star. He was friendly, knew the menu well, extremely attentive. I'd come back just for him! Food was great all around. Our salads and bread were great. Kids food came fast during salads so they could go ahead and start (and not be hangry!) All the group enjoyed their side dishes. Personally, I had the New York strip. I thought it was a bit tough but overall good. Oddly their knives seemed pretty dull which was not what I'm used to at steak houses. I had the blue cheese crust topping on my steak which was very bold in flavor and some people night not like, but I thought was great. Three Bulls was offering a surf and turf feature recently, and I happened to drop in at a time when I could try it. The restaurant had several patrons but was not overwhelmed, and I was seated quickly. Nothing's changed inside the building as far as the decor goes; it's comfortable but also a bit loud as sound carries throughout the dining area. I had a very prompt server who kept me well taken care of. The salad hasn't changed, and while I do wish they'd chop the contents of the bowl into smaller segments the mix was still good and the dressing was still delicious. Why just three stars then? Lack of flavor during the main course. The chosen steak in the featured dish was a sirloin (which doesn't help; I like the marbled flavors of the ribeye), and to call it plain would be an understatement. Even with medium rare preparation eating the steak seemed a bit like chewing big chunks of cardboard, dull and uninteresting. Can we not add some seasoning, a brine or marinade, or something if the meat itself is devoid of flavor? The grilled shrimp were also unseasoned, though at least there was a nice cocktail sauce to help liven them up. And all this dullness meant that the accompanying mashed potatoes were a bad choice for a side since they're pretty bland by their very nature. Steakhouse prices should come with bold steakhouse flavors. I felt distinctly underwhelmed by this main course. Better cuts of meat and better seasoning are what I expected to go with the Three Bulls experience. I hate to say the chain steakhouses in the area are doing it better when it comes to the food they serve, but they are. read more

We decided on 3 Bulls after finding out the FMOB had an hour wait time. On a Friday night, we didn't have to wait for a table, the restaurant is rather large inside. We were met by a server that was fairly new but well trained. There's an impressive wine selection, I know to just order wine next time. I ordered an appetizer of bacon which was not so impressive; it was more like chewy fatback, thick cut but I would prefer it be cooked more. I ordered an Aperol Spritz and the server came back to say the bar didn't have the ingredients. Thats understandable on a busy night so I ordered a Painkiller and again the server returned, saying the bartender didn't know how to make it. So, choosing a simple sangria: it did taste like they forgot to add the wine. I think the bar staff were probably just hating the fact they were restaurant bartenders or had some angst/issue with our server. That's standard F&B but anyway, on to the food. My brussel sprouts were pretty tasty but not crispy and some almost not fully cooked but the bacon jam made up for it. The parmesan creamy corn was definitely just plain Del Monte creamed corn out of the can; no parmesan and was cold. My bf had chicken alfredo which he said was delicious. So I learned my lesson: order steak at a steakhouse restaurant named Three Bulls and order just wine when one whole wall at the bar is wine bottles. read more

This was my first time here and we lucked up on reservations after a last minute cancellation. Celebrating my dads Birthday and Easter this was a treat. Very nice place, very clean and I love the hostesses energy. Will was our server and he was an absolute pleasure. He was very thorough with the menu and I love how he convinced my dad to get the "big steak" T-Bone to celebrate his birthday. Appetizers we had the fried cauliflower and garlic shrimp, it was very good. Our meals came with a salad for the table, we had the T-Bone with broccoli, Ribeye with broccoli, chicken Alfredo and crab cakes (not pictured). Gotta say I was expecting so much more. I had heard of this restaurant from friends and decided I had to try it out on a special occasion. I met the hostess and explained I had a friend joining me and it was a special occasion. The family style I had read about online must be gone. Typical salads in a bowl. The server who brought our salads apologized and went to get some dressing. Steaks.... Now. This is a steakhouse. There is a bill outside. It's named Three bulls steakhouse. The website touts a 1200 degree grill. Well.... My date ordered a filet medium well. It came out medium rare to rare. The center was actually cold. I got up and got someone to come over and have it recooked. A server brought the pieces of her steak back after they were recooked and it was medium rare. She didn't eat it. My ribeye was close to the medium I preferred but the steak had not been handled with care. The cap was pealing off and had separated from the eye. There was little to no seasoning and the seer I would expect from a screaming hot grill was non existent. Dessert.... Crème brûlée. I've been in some amazing restaurants and had a lot of these. The flavor was great! The presentation on their logo plates was on point. The texture...? This was a crème brûlée that ate like pudding, no structure at all, very little sugar on top. Strange with all the hype that the food would let this place down so much. We spent close to $200 on meal and drinks and the filet was not taken off the bill. Not once in 4 1/2 hours did a manager once stop by our table. Not once. We saw a short guy pass by our table several times who I would assume was a manager but not even eye contact. So sad that in a post Covid world that people take customers for granted. This was a decent drive but if it were worth the hype I'd be back. This was my first visit to Three Bulls and I have to say that the service was the star of the evening, top notch with the perfect blend of professional and knowledgeable but friendly and attentive! I was told by several friends that the Tuscan Salmon dish was a "must try" so I opted for that while my friend decided on the salmon burger. They are very accommodating and offered to switch out the sides but we both stuck to what they were paired with on the menu. My salmon dish was served with a parmesan creamed corn and garlic sautéed spinach. The salmon was cooked nicely, not over done and the spinach was flavorful but the dish overall looked like maybe it sat under the heat lamp waiting to be delivered as the corn wasn't hot and had a crusted over look to it. Flavor was good but I wouldn't go out of my way to order it again. My dinner companion enjoyed their salmon burger (first time trying it) and we both really enjoyed the salads served before the meal. Nice to see a house dressing and not a premade one! I hear the steak tacos and steaks are very good here so I will be back to check those out soon! Lots of local choices for steakhouses in the Triad, including the typical chain restaurants, but 3B is by far the best I've experienced at this point! It's not even close! The place is clean and with an appealing trendy ambience that, just like their steaks, isn't overdone. Also, as I stated in my tip, our server was so friendly and accommodating! He knew the menu by heart and did a perfect job to put our experience here over the top! If you'll refer to exhibit A, you will see that the fillet mignon was cooked perfectly to order, juicy, and so flavorful! Usually if I get a pricier steak at a restaurant I end up really disappointed because it isn't cooked right, but 3B got it spot on! Excellent experience tonight for a date night dinner with my husband. We haven't been here in years, but we found an old gift card and figured we'd give it a try. Excellent meal. My sirloin cut like butter and was cooked perfectly. The brussel sprouts side was delicious and I could make a meal of their house salad. We sat at the bar and had excellent service. Our old gift card ended up being so old it was invalid, but they comped us for an app anyway just to be kind. Something we didn't expect and they didn't have to do. So I decided to try something new for my birthday. I had been once before and really enjoyed the blackened tuna. I decided to get it again but I thought it was over cooked for medium rare. Maybe the first time I ordered rare? Anyway, it was way more salty than the last time so I didn't eat much. Hopefully I can finish the leftovers tomorrow. I tried the blueberry margarita which was tasty but way too much ice and very little tequila for a $10 cocktail. We had the pimento cheese dip as an appetizer. It was fair. I was a little surprised that it came with a type of ritz cracker and the presentation was lacking as some of the crackers were broken. We aren't fancy so we really didn't care but I still noticed it. Our waitress noticed we were celebrating a birthday and presented warm bread pudding with ice cream on top with a candle which was a pleasant surprise. We ordered 2 other desserts of cheesecake which was rich and tasty and a creme brûlée that was meh. The bread pudding was a hit! The service was good with a very kind waitress. The have plenty of seating inside and outside but the patio was closed due to the weather. They have a sit at the bar area with plenty of TVs to watch sports. We have been here twice and both visits have been exceptional. We had Will as our server tonight and he was chatty when we wanted and professional when we were busy. Spot on with service and speed of delivery. Steaks were both tasty and they have pizza for the little ones. Their family salad is like the best thing ever - the dressing is just yum. Thursday is half off wine night if you dare. We were celebrating our ten year anniversary tonight and this place always feels a little special. Staff is so friendly and this place has a bigger city feel but it's just a little if the beaten path. Two thumbs up - definitely go to nice sit down place that never disappoints. Solid choice for a steak house. First of all the decor is really fitting for the space. Our server was very nice and helped out with suggestions as needed. We started with cocktails and the cauliflower app which I highly recommend not too spicy not to sweet great portion. Our dishes varied :ribeye, filet, strip and fish. We all were very happy with our choices; a few of us got the Brussels sprouts and really enjoyed them my husband got the creamed corn. The salad comes served in a large bowl with small plates for those who ordered salad. And it was really great. I had read a bunch of reviews praising the salad and they were not wrong. TB also is going to take the medal for my fave dirty martini w blue cheese olives they did a great job with that. I had two! I will say I do wish my steak had a little more seasoning to it. It was slightly bland and my husband said the same of his. But our dining companions loved the dishes they chose (stuffed flounder and ribeye) so perhaps we will try one of those next time. They bring cornbread and mini dinner rolls with the meal which is a nice touch and everything came out quickly and as we requested temperature wise. Was looking for a place to eat after playing tennis Sunday morning at the Taylor Tennis Center across Lewisville-Clemmons Road. "Steakhouse" didn't scream "Sunday brunch" or "affordable" to me, but we went on over anyway. I was pleasantly surprised at the diverse menu, including a vegetable frittata that cost less than most things I've had at Mary's Gourmet Diner. They also had a range of appetizers, lunch fare, as well as steaks available, so really something to meet any appetite and budget. Our server was so-so, but they had other food runners working and one of the managers checked in on us a couple of times. I saw in the fine print of the menu that the place is owned by the same people who own Fratelli's Italian Steakhouse on Reynolda Rd. in Winston-Salem. My husband and I were so excited to try Three Bulls for our anniversary. To start we ordered the pimento cheese app which was excellent. I ordered the 6oz fillet and he ordered the bourbon glazed pork chop for our entrees. This took 40min to get our entrees, the waiter apologized as he kept checking on us! when our entrees arrived my 6oz fillet looked like a thin sirloin steak. I have never seen a fillet like this before. It was so very thin, I realized they have cut a larger fillet in half, probably to cut costs. My husbands pork was completely raw in the middle having to be sent back to be cooked more. His sides were skimpy, as I had a half plate of Brussels sprouts filling up mine Probably to make up for the lack of the super thin fillet. This was our first time at this restaurant, we usually go to Fratellis, which is an affiliate of Three Bulls. I do not think we will go back there anymore either! The only part of the dinner is that was good was that the waiter was very attentive. He did a great job and we still tipped him accordingly. He can not help what comes out of the kitchen! Also this restaurant had a dress code of business casual. Not the case here!!! People were dressed in jeans and some looked super casual, wearing slippers. Came on a Sunday to celebrate mom mom's birthday. Sundays they have a lengthy list of half priced wine by the bottle and glass. Even with the busy holiday season the hostess and waitress (Ashley) were both friendly and attentive. Ashley has several tables but still handled each one very well. We got the fried cauliflower appetizer which reminded us of a spicy bang bang sauce. the sauce had great flavor and the cauliflower had a great texture/crunch. The cornbread muffins were delicious. They fall apart and have a great crumbling texture. We all enjoyed the family style salad. For my entree I got the surf and turf. There were so many great flavors. The steak was cooked to the right temperature and for a sirloin it was very tender. The shrimp were good. I enjoyed the flavor of the spinach and the hash browns. The hash browns seemed like an odd side but they were very good. For dessert you get a half portion of the Moravian bread pudding for your birthday and we also ordered a slice of key lime pie since it's the birthday girls favorite dessert. My son wanted to go to a steakhouse, so we decided to eat here. He loved it so much. We were happy with the service and ambiance of the restaurant. We ordered the flatbread as an appetizer, and it was really good. My son loved his kid's steak and mashed potatoes. I had the NY strip and hashbrowns. All of our steaks were a perfect medium-rare. They make an amazing homemade steak sauce which was an upcharge, but so worth it. The bread and salad that came with the meal was also delicious. We can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu like fish and chicken. read more
