One of the Worst Dining Experiences I've ever Had I came here for a birthday dinner, and from the start, it was a mess. We were seated at a sticky, filthy table -- it felt like dried soda had been left on it for hours. It took 30-40 minutes for the food to arrive, and even then, multiple entrées for our dinner party were missing. While our waiter seemed like he was trying, the service was chaotic at best. He yelled out food orders and frantically passed plates around the table while sweating bullets. When my chicken sandwich finally arrived, the ciabatta bread was clearly stale, the bacon was overcooked, and the only thing I could taste was canola oil. The fries were cold, and tasted of Canola oil, and easily the worst I've ever had. My husband ordered the double bacon cheeseburger, took one bite, and couldn't finish it. We both felt nauseous for the rest of the evening. I don't know how a restaurant can get it this wrong, but this place was truly a disaster. I would never recommend eating here. This place definitely has a high ceiling but potential for a big drop. In the last year, I've had the prime rib 4x. First time, it was perfection. It declined with each time getting more and more fatty and I ended up spending most of my time chewing on gristle. Bacon cheese fries are a great appetizer, but would really like them to spread the cheese out better or add more. Otherwise it's just curly steak fries. The she crab soup was a big miss for me today. It was just a bowl of salt. Okay in flavor, but it was so salty. The chicken caesar salad, and the Cajun new Orleans pasta were the show stoppers. The portion for the price is better than anyone else nearby. If you like Kickback Jack's Cajun pasta, you'll love this even more. Very average experience. The chicken souvlaki I got was decent. The lettuce was browning and watery but the sauce was great and chicken was cooked well. Fries were greasy but fine. Came in for a family dinner with friends and family. I've been here a few times and the food is usually somewhere between average and good. This time, it was average. I had their special, a blackened prime salad. Their prime rib is good, and this meat was tasty, but for one thing. Salty as anything. I love salt, but wow. They sprinkled the prime rib with some blackening seasoning and way over did it. It was a good salad, and the meat was fine other than that. Well I gave this place a third try with my coworker and let's just say it's even worse. I wanted to give new ownership another chance but again very disappointed. Ordered the crab dip and prime rib salad to go and it was watery and zero seasoning..... No seasoning what so ever. My coworker orders the chicken sandwhich which the bread was stale. Very bland. Stumbled across this local joint while attending a training seminar in the area. I was greeted by staff as I entered and sat quickly. They have a standard menu along with lunch specials. I decided to get the Bang Bang chicken tacos with zucchini fries. The presentation was nice and portion size was very good with the chicken filling the tacos. The tacos were very creamy loaded with the bang bang flavor. Definitely the best chicken tacos I've had. The zucchini fries were thick cut and dipped in ranch. They were crisp and not too greasy. I wish I could give zero stars. We went tonight for my mom's birthday. She and I had the blackened prime rib salad. It was not prime rib. I feel almost certain that it was sirloin. I know my cuts of meat. What wasn't pure chucks of blackened fat was shoe leather. The pita square with mine had mold on it. The waitress was only concerned with explaining to me what prime rib is. The rolls (which you now have to specially request) were rocks and most definitely warmed over. We never got drink refills. This meal cost me $90 with tip (which I debated on leaving) for four people. If you look on Facebook, they have turned the reviews off. I can guess why. Seasoning is a foreign language here. The steak comes blue if you order medium, and tastes like salt, let alone any other seasoning, is a nonexistent element. Salad looks and tastes like a bagged salad. No carrots, cheese, tomatoes, or toppings besides one cucumber slice and three red onions are provided. Your best bet is to bring a bottle of ranch from the house. The spinach artichoke dip is literally a melted block of cream cheese with ~15 spinach leaves in it. They generously dose the entree plate with Frenches fried onions, however they are stale and greasy. Of my 12 oz New York strip, I'd say about half was inedible gristle or tendons (not to mention it was the saddest, grayest steak I've ever seen in my life). Fried okra is missing every hit, again no seasoning in site. Our server was attentive, which is the only plus. There was some off odor we noticed when we were seated, smelling strongly of moldy dish rags. Best bet is to go to stay at the house, or hell go to cookout. You'll eat a lot better for a lot less. This little place was always winkin' at me when we travel up to the King area, but we had never stopped in until recently. And, I gotta say, I waited far too long! The food was excellent and the waiting staff was exceptional! However, I am giving this place 4 instead of 5 for one reason... the hostess was exceptionally rude. When we walked inside, she was nowhere to be seen, and when she did make an appearance, she looked disheveled and unkempt. With no smile or polite demeanor, she asked how many, grabbed the menus, led us to a booth, threw the menus onto the table and said, 'Here ya go.' Then, she walked away. I know we all have bad days, but there is really no reason for rudeness. On a brighter note, our waitress was superb, and the food was delish! The place was neat, clean, & sanitized. The service wasn't with three trips to get salmon and pasta salad and a house salad. And even when it came the salads had hair in them salmon had no seasoning and was pure grilled salmon, which is crazy for 18 salmon, and the pasta salad was on par with cafeteria pasta salad.
