After my truck was in and out of this shop for 7 months, and paying them over $10,000, I was told…read morenot to bring the truck back. Andrew said they couldn't figure the issue out and blamed it on the wiring. I only drove the truck 200 miles in this 7 months because I was convinced it had a real issue. I took the truck to another diesel shop in Bend and they found the issue in less than 5 minutes in the parking lot. My truck needed a simple $60 boost relief valve. Fixed the full throttle check engine light and loss of power that I'd spent thousands to repair. A 1999 Ford 7.3 Powerstroke is basic enough I didn't expect a shop with their "reputation" to be so reckless recommending repairs that turned out to be expensive guesses. I would not recommend House of Power to do any diesel work. I can't believe what they were able to talk me into and hopefully this review will help others avoid the nightmare I experienced

The first half of day one was on understanding theory of recovery options; the afternoon was advanced tire repair and then out in the field doing hands on stuck situations. Day two was all in the field understanding winch applications and applying them to our vehicles. It's one thing to read about or watch a video on winch recovery, but actually doing it yourself and seeing the winch in action is some much better for understanding and retention of the skills. These guys not only got us in, they were able to take a look at it within about 15min!!! They diagnosed a bent brake plate with a rock stuck in it (causing the screeching). My son and I were driving my 2017 Jeep home (West Richland, WA) from South Lake Tahoe, when it…read morestarted acting up just South of Bend. The cruise control began kicking off, and then some warning lights came on. When I got to Bend in the late evening we stopped at a parts store and they put the Jeep on the diagnostic tester, and it gave several error codes, but they said it would probably be ok to drive the remaining 250-300 miles home through some desolate country, at night with a chance of rain. When we got to Redmond we decided to stop and get a hotel and have the Jeep checked out in the morning. I chose Earp's. Good choice!! I was greeted by Jason, and he immediately looked at the error codes, consulted his mechanics data base on common fixes for those codes, and cleaned and tightened the battery terminals and the ground connections, while checking the battery voltage readings. After spending 30-40 minutes working on the car, he told me he'd be comfortable driving it home. I asked him how much I owed him, and he said no charge...just get home safely! We were back on the road, and one of the best things to come from this was the peace of mind I had while traveling North. We drove all the way home with no issues, no warning lights...no problems at all! Jason: you are my hero! I would highly recommend this shop for your auto needs.

Causing stand to rub on the swing arm with hundreds of miles to go. Was at a shop next to Scott's, told him of my issues. He came out to the bike with a jar of bolts and installed the bolt & tightened up the other side (about to fall out) When I asked Scott what I owed him, he said whatever you want to give to the cause. I gave him a $20 and was very appreciative of his assistance. Great guy. Had 3 Honda Goldwings in the shop at the time.
