My girlfriend and I went in to shop for a cake for our dog Eevee's 5th birthday. The blonde lady at the front greeted us but she kept her eyes firmly fixated on us and I feel like it was racial in nature. My girlfriend and I are both Native American and are brown in skin tone obviously. A customer came in and was talking her ear off and she still kept her eyes fixed on us as we perused around the store as we have never been here before. Like we were going to snatch some dog treats off the wall and run out or pocket a squeaky toy from the racks. The whole thing made me uncomfortable and I'm from Wisconsin so I know what racial profiling and prejudice looks like first hand and this gave me the same vibes. I thought maybe I'm being dramatic but my girlfriend felt it too so please be warned you may be watched like a hawk if your skin is too dark here. read more

Our first visit to Three Dog Bakery was a hit with our Shorkiepoo..that's a shih tzu, yorkie, poodle mix. Our boy Birch was celebrating his 2nd birthday and he is one picky eater. But the carrot cake was not snubbed by the birthday boy! We shared the carrot cake with his furiends at the dog park. This made him quite popular and made for a memorable birthday. My sister and i decided to throw our dogs a Pet-nniversary, So last minute we were looking for where to by them a cake and treats and luckily my sister landed on this page! I went to the store and they had some cakes ready. The lady working the counter did an amazing job with the letters and the decorating of our cakes. I also went with several treats for them such as the pup cake, a couple of the chow-co tacos, and some peanut butter cups. They have a great selection of wheat and grain free treats as well which is perfect for those dogs with sensitivities. As the lady got the cakes ready I walked around and was surprised that many of their treats and goodies were affordable since many pet stores over price their products. Everything I purchased was swallowed up by our dogs! I'm super happy to have found a place that will help me spoil her even more !! read more

When our pups getting an extra special treat this is our go to! We love the unique treats that the staff creates for holidays. Most people become stand-offish when they see my beefy 90 pound baby. Cuuutest spot to fulfill all your pup's dreams! This shop is so adorable, with so many fun treat and toy options. My sister and I wanted to celebrate our puppy's first birthday, and Three Dog Bakery made the best cake for her, which she enjoyed A LOT. We also got her a cute little birthday hat, and of course additional little treats and toys to spoil her. Staff here were super friendly, and they definitely adhered to covid restrictions in terms of numbers in the store. I also like that they stock locally made items (little bandanas, the party hats). We have four dogs so of course Three Dog Bakery has been on my bucket list! Today we had the opportunity to take our bulldog, Molly, to check it out and she LOVED it! They gave her a free little treat to try and she was too overwhelmed with all the smells, toys, and fun to eat it in the store but she loved it as soon as we got home. It was Taco Tuesday so we took advantage of the buy one get one free Chowco Taco sale to get four of their Chowco Tacos for just over $3! Such a steal to treat all four of our babies with gourmet treats! They were all super nice and accommodating, even though they were all very busy making treats. They also have walk in grooming services available! The main reason we didn't come in earlier is because we assumed that something this fun and specialized must come with high end prices. Yes! I found a Three Dog Bakery while visiting my boyfriend's family in Albuquerque. Our local store closed last spring in San Diego and I've been missing being able to spoil my pups with these delicious treats. It worked out perfectly that we were able to bring home goodies to our fur babies because we were feeling pretty guilty about leaving them behind for the week long trip. I knew I was going to have some making up to do! This location was bigger than our store was so I spent some time browsing through all of their adorable clothes for both humans and dogs. There's so many cute things! In the end, I stuck with my original plan and chose a few of the treats from the display case. My dogs have always loved the carrot cake so I made sure to grab one of those. We also decided to try the bon bons, which they've never had before. I'm not 100 percent certain but it seemed like the prices were a little lower here. We got both treats for about $5. So far, my dogs have enjoyed the bon bons. We gave them each one as soon as we got home on Tuesday night. The pug quickly chowed down on hers while our mastiff took her sweet time to thoroughly inspect the new treat before finally deciding that it was safe to eat. She's a goof! read more

Every time I go to Albuquerque I love to hit this spot to spoil my fur baby. There are gifts, "homemade" treats, packaged options, and toys. If you are a pet lover this is the place to go! I've ordered 2 cakes for our old ladies birthdays from Three Dog Bakery. One in advance and one the day of. They accommodated my last minute request without question. The cakes were absolutely adorable and our pups loved them! Our rottie got a super gassy, but that's pretty normal for rotties. The last cake I ordered, we had a puppy party with the neighbors pups, and they all drooled over the cake. Huge hit. Also bought some cookies. They are so cute! I absolutely love coming here for special items for my puppers. Walking into this shop makes you think you are going to leave with human pastries. It always smells soooooo good! For locally crafted pet attire, cute human accessories, and delightful doggy treats this is the place. I stopped in for a birthday cake for my little dog. I ask for a 5inch just like the one on the wall with the little paws. I asked if they make them like that one with the little paws and they said yes. I had to pay for it and the bill was almost $30 with a little candle!! They brought out a cake that had the words right but there were some kind of mess of a blot they said was paws. I asked if they could fix it and the two women behind the counter literally "Scoffed". They look at each other and at almost the same time made a "scoffing" noise. I said forget it. I am giving two stars only because they gave me a good tip on the flavor of the cake and it was eaten. read more

Everything is wonderful here. The treats and the gourmet snacks behind the counter were adorable. I got my dog a huge bone for $4 and an adorable little cake in the shape of a paw for $3.50. The prices were amazing especially for a cute dog bakery like this. When I came in my dog was offered a treat as well! This is the cutest doggy bakery in town, and we drive clear across Albuquerque to pick up our Scottie's favorite treats every few weeks. You can get custom birthday cakes or cookies made here for your best buddies barkday, and they even have grass flavored "ice cream". We tend to load up when we come here, simply because the drive is pretty crazy (we live on the West Side), but we're always pleasantly surprised at our total when we're checking out. The quality is high, and the snack prices are low. Visit Three Dog Bakery and get your pup a cupcake, then hop next door and grab yourself a Starbucks while sitting on the patio. I've been to 3 Dog Bakery a few times now and have nothing but love for this quirky place. Beautiful dog treats are offered and packaged at the bakery window. They also offer packages of handmade dog treats, excellent quality resale dog treats, and toys/gifts for pets. The establishment is dog friendly of course. (Sure do wish Flamz next door had a dog friendly patio so you could get a treat for the dog and enjoy a beer and a burger yourself!!) Although the treats and design of the shop is fantastic the stand out is the service. The staff at 3 Dog Bakery absolutely love dogs and are helpful with anything and everything dog. They even helped answer my questions about where to get a particular dog food brand not carried by the shop. The staff is first rate, always make me smile, even when we just said a final good bye to one of our doggy family members. I got a bone birthday cake for my Rottweiler, and she LOVED it!! She waited for her dessert every night for her piece of the cake. I was super happy they had it in the store the same day I went in, and left within a few minutes! I went with my best friend Kota today for the first time. We had been at vca and I felt Kota needed a treat. Kota immediately loved it. I asked to speak to the manager/owner, they said she would call me back. Unprofessionally I had a response via text stating that Max is a medium dog, therefore was charged the medium rate and to take him back for Kelly to fix the cut. I didn't want that same person cutting Max's hair. If you want your dog to have a good cut, I'd think twice before taking your fur baby to Duke City Doggery on Louisiana NE. The shop offers other small bells and whistles like treats, accessories and a free bandana following the wash. They're also happy to post a Glamour Shot of your dog on their social channels. Oh, BTW, our dog was softer than we'd ever known, and shed-free for at least ten minutes.

Today was my 2nd time heading in & it was to try the self dog wash area. It was my first time trying this VS heading to the groomers & the experience was great! There grooming products provided worked well & both the cleaning/drying stations were clean and safe. I called day of to see if an appt was available and they squeezed me in. Today happened to also be another shot clinic & this one looked a lot more enjoyable. Folks were allowed to wait inside and no dogs seemed to be barking at one another. So I'd say it's worth trying out & if the line is around the building/it's stressful; try to attend a different day. I'll be back to clean my pups on a regular basis!
