My husband and I were dinking around town on our day off so we decided to hit up The Collector's…read moreOutpost. My husband has been a fan of comics since his youth. Bat Man and Marvel comics were his go to. So, coming to this joint only made sense. Yoooooo, this has to be one of the dopest comic book stores around! As soon as you walk in, everything catches your eye! You have Deadpool right at the door. You have beautiful display cases with the most realistic characters in them. Funko Pops nicely organized on shelves. Comic books neatly arranged in bins nicely labeled. It truly is a prestine store. We looked around for a bit. I was just in awww at how cool everything was. My husband was mainly doing the looking. He didn't really find anything that caught his eye. He has a pretty good collection but didn't find what he was specifically looking for. All good cause there's always next time! The gentleman that was working today was really nice! Even though he was mid conversation with another customer, he still greeted us! Very loudly and happily too! The set up of this joint is cool! And the fact that they serve coffee here so you can chill and read a comic is dope. I wouldn't mind sipping on a coffee chilling with my husband while he's vibing to a comic. We both look forward to coming back and seeing what kind of new displays and comics they have.

What is not to love?!? Honestly, so excited to have found this place. It's a collectors dream, and…read moreso fun to just hang out, walk around and check everything out but also to enjoy a delicious coffee. Service was great, the smoothies were so yummy and I ordered the Starlord coffee and it was fantastic. We can't wait to go back and highly recommend this fun coffee shop/collectors shop. Such a fun find.

Village Coffee is serving up some seriously divine and completely guilt free coffee. Why guilt free? Their coffees are all 100% free trade, organic, and nonGMO. AND (!!), Tuesdays are discount days in The Village and so the Tuesday I was there they were offering their coffees at buy one, get one half off! They have plenty of seating and even have a lovely fire feature you can sit by if you so choose. Plus, in finer weather, there is outdoor seating as well. Bonus reasons for fandom: They serve BOTH a Salted Caramel Mocha and a Mexican Mocha! How to choose? Both are like Autumn in a cup. They have some particularly tasty looking cinnamon rolls (I was just there for coffee but would definitely like to give the cinnamon rolls a try next time!). And, finally, you can order ahead, my people! Just bop over to their website coffeeatthevillage.com and click "order online" and they'll have your swirling cuppa goodness ready when you get there! Get to it!

I told her I specifically requested water with ice. That's all I drink, I don't drink plastic bottled water, yep, she replied, we won't be doing that for you in the future. Came for the street Tacos- YUM! Kids wanted a different drink- so Village Coffee was a good option. But this will be my last purchase. If I want ICE WATER, and willing to pay, gimme a break. AND DO NOT CALL ME HON! Seriously, rude! It's very warm inside, and they do not make it welcoming that's for sure.

Great flavor to coffee, delicious PB, banana and Nutella smoothie, and great breakfasts. I haven't tried the pastries, but I hear they're amazing. The avocado toast is the best I've ever tried. Loved this place and this breakfast is what we have been searching for here in the treasure valley! The lady taking our order was also so sweet and nice! We ordered 2 papusas, one revuelta, then a jalepenos/cheese, two of their coffees that were on the specials hot and iced, avocado toast, two chocolate milks, chilaquiles, and a pastry desert. We have been searching for a while for the perfect chilaquiles in the valley, and finally found it! Man, this was the most traditional one we have found...mo joes/the griddle, they don't even come close! This place takes the cake!! So flavorful and I feel like we don't need to even try any other place for the remainder of the time we are in the treasure valley. Papusas were amazing! Made with love and tasted so fresh! They have the pickled sides and salsa. Coffees were delicious! Loved the hot one with the breakfast, we tried both iced and hot just to see which one we would like more with our breakfast and the hot one paired perfectly with this perfect breakfast. Kids said it was the best chocolate milk they have had. Not sure if there was anything special about what was in there, I should have tried it. All I know is they didn't leave any milk left in their cups. Wife and son shared the avocado toast and when I read the reviews on the avocado toast I didn't think avocado toast could really be "amazing". I was wrong, wife said that it was the best avocado toast she's ever had and agreed that she didn't think it could be that great, but it was! They have cream cheese and some oil they have on it? I don't know but they devoured it. Pastry with the fresh fruit on top was so good! Flaky crust and custard paired perfect with the fruit, we all shared it and took it down! Very cool set up, lots of plants, great music ( old school tunes were playing), and comfy couch by a fire place. All in all so glad we found this place and this is one place we will continue to go to. I wish they were open Sundays, but that's just me being selfish :p. AMAZING food and drinks!
