Went here to meet a friend and my friend was late. So I hung out and had a martini. I'm an ambiance person and this place has it. A little dark and cozy. Great for a first date I think. Not too loud but not too quiet. My drink was amazing, the waitstaff was personable and fun. But the food! So good! Very happy with my visit and will be back! read more

We went here about a month ago and it was great! A wonderful addition to the restaurant scene in Suffield, for sure. We started with the garlic Parmesan wings and I had the pear salad, my mom had the steak salad. I was interested in their gluten free selections which were okay. We were very happy and satisfied and will return. It should also be noted that they did a great job with the decor, from the bar, to the dining room and bathrooms- the place looks great and we are looking forward to returning! I had people staying by BDL for a meeting tomorrow and we were looking for a place away from the airport restaurants. Found this place on yelp, and we headed over in our car (10 minutes away from our hotel). We had no res, but they got us a table for 4. Service was very fast and efficient, and the food was fantastic, not one of us got a "bad" meal (we had a steak, a scallop over risotto special, wedge salad w rare tuna, and I had chicken w sundried tomato, Gorgonzola, and garlic). Delicious. Atmosphere was very quaint and charming, the tables were nicely spaced so we weren't on top of our neighbors, and the staff were extremely friendly. I have gone there twice now. The first time was wonderful and I really enjoyed the fig baked brie and was looking forward to it for my birthday dinner this week. We went and it took forever for our food to come out. Once we got our appetizers the buffalo chicken egg rolls were good but the fig baked brie was disappointing. We got our meals finally after that and I ordered the filet cooked medium. I cut open my steak to find it completely rare. I had to wait a while to get the waitress's attention and she took my food back. But he time I got my food back my boyfriend had finished his food already. The manager brought it over said here's your re-fired steak and just walked away without checking to see if it was cooked properly this time. No one seemed to care here about our dining experience and I was so disappointed to have such a terrible birthday dinner. read more

My mother and I go out for dinner at Three Figs often because of the warm atmosphere and attentive service. The service is always friendly, but we were fortunate to have met Joshua for the first time last night. He is the best server we have had yet. It made the meal that much more enjoyable to have such a sweet and genuine human serving us. The food is always amazing here. We decided to split three appetizers and were shocked when we tried the buffalo chicken egg rolls. They were a perfect combination of crunch and bursts of flavor from the peppers and bleu cheese. We also had the teriyaki skewers. My mom loved the special chopped fruit and pepper dipping sauce on the side. And of course, we had our favorite muscles cooked in a bleu cheese, bacon, and white wine sauce. Food is to die for and service was great. Will be back again next month! read more

Good food and atmosphere. They have a lot of beers on tap and interesting healthier options for main courses and appetizers. I was there in October and they had the pumpkin shocktop on tap and they dusted the rim with cinnamon. It was exactly like drinking an pumpkin pie. It was so perfect. read more

I went to Three Figs for dinner on Friday night. We had the calamari appetizer which was excellent and for dinner I had the chicken marsala special. It was delicious! I would have to say it was hands down the best chicken marsala I have ever had. I have been there on other occasions and the food has always been great. I especially like the lobster bisque with the puff pastry baked on top. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

What a great place! First of all...I love figs! The Fig Mule was super....a little sweet...but very tasty for sure. The baked Brie and fig app was super! And plenty to share! My husband and I went there today for one of their special holiday drinks, a pumpkin martini. I was told that they were out of cinnamon vodka, one of the ingredients. Went with a group of ladies out to eat, we were going to sit in the lower dining room but it smelled like someone's damp cellar. We sat upstairs but this had poor AC, so it was smell or sweat. The waitress brought our drinks but with no napkin, the drinks glasses were sweatting more than we were. The salad was not cold nor the plates, like eating dry grass. Out of 16 women eating all got served except 4 of us, as the others were just about done out come the last 4 meals. Another diner had the wedge salad except they forgot to cut out the brown rotting core out, she wrapped in her napkin and handed it to the waitress to give back to the kitchen. The waitresses never came and asked if we wanted another drink, we were never asked if we wanted any bread. Very disappointed. Won't go back again. read more

Been a frequent visitor to their flagship in Windsor. This place doesn't even compare. The wait staff was friendly & food timely. The wine was good but food subpar! Nice place good atmosphere. I ate upfront in the bar area and did not see the back, but I was told the place is huge. Food was delicious. I shared both the spinach and feta quesadilla, and the buffalo chicken egg rolls. Both are something i've never seen before and sent my taste buds on a trip. I preferred the buffalo chicken rolls, but both were delicious and cooked perfectly. For the main course I shared the short rib ravioli. I didn't love them. They weren't bad but I probably wouldn't order them again. Next time I really want to try the lobster Mac n cheese. For dessert I had the apple pie egg rolls. I suggest getting an extra scoop of ice cream, and asking for a knife. I'm starting to see this dessert a little more often now and always loved it. They did an amazing job on it, but they only give you a spoon and you definitely need a knife to help cut it. read more

Our server was great, very pleasant. The pastry wrapped Brie wasn't warm enough to be melty, was missing the fig jam , had 3 sweetened nuts on top with a tiny bit of caramel sauce and was frankly boring. I can't understand why people love the bisque, it shouldn't even be called a bisque, it was more like a flavorless gravy - it had plenty of lobster but some appropriate bisque flavor and consistency would be better - it was almost gluey. The pastry on top just gets soggy and ends up kind of like it wasn't cooked through, gross. My girlfriend ordered a crab soup that was on special - tasted like a bland minestrone and had more corn than crab. The house salad had a whole 2 cherry tomatoes and 2 pieces of cucumber. I wanted to try the beet salad but they were out of beets (early on a Saturday night no less), so I got the pear, Gorgonzola and spinach salad. The mustard dressing with it was nice, the pears were grilled which was nice but there were only 3 rings of pears on it, the Gorgonzola was all in one clump, as were the nuts and there were a number of slimy pieces of spinach that I had to take out. She got a lobster risotto special which wasn't bad, decent amounts of lobster. I saw other tables had bread but we didn't get any. I got the meatloaf, it had a smoky flavor and was very moist. There was bacon wrapped around it which was chewy. The sauce on it was kind of bbq like, some people would probably really like it but I only thought it was ok. There was literally one mushroom in the sauce on the plate so I'm not sure if it was supposed to be there or not. It was served with under-cooked squash, zucchini and 2 strips of red pepper plus garlic mashed potatoes which were yummy but very garlicky. I feel that it was not worth the price. There really isn't much in the area which may account for the high rating. read more

They had the entire restaurant area blocked off for a party on a Saturday night and herded all patrons in and around the bar area for their dinner instead.. The music was too loud..we were seated too close to those around us..it just wasn't what I was expecting. Drinks were good..my jack and coke was potent enough...wife enjoyed her pinot grigio, For apps..my son enjoyed his chili..my wedge salad was made perfectly...my wifes lobster bisque was served way too hot she said...barely one piece of lobster in the soup. we went "safe and sane" with our "entrees"....my son enjoyed his tavern burger but was upset the top bun was smeared with mayo which he hates. My wife had the turkey burger...it was tasty but the arugula leaves tasted like weeds and she said were inedible. I had the dads dream burger..supposedly loaded with gorgonzola and onions. My patty had little of either filler...disappointing. My fries were below average...not crispy...pretty tasteless. servers were robotic and impersonal..asked my wife three times if she needed a refill on her pinot..never once asked if we were enjoying our meal. We will try again on a "normal" night when the restaurant dining area is open...and hopefully have a better experience. read more

Terrible. Service was slow and our order took forever. Only 4 tables had people. The food was terrible. I had the sesame crusted tuna salad and it was so unflavorful. Bland. The 2 appetizers my friend got looked a bit better but they both looked so unhealthy I did not touch them. One was the baked brie and then the chicken wings. They looked very greasy to me but it was a very large portion, so I will give them that. We wanted to get more water at one point and the waitress never came back to check in. At one point I even shouted across the room to get her attention when I saw her in the room and she didn't come over. We felt like an inconvenience. We had wanted to come in for a quick dinner, 20 minutes tops and it turned into a solid hour for 3 apps and 2 waters. read more
