Only reason for 4 stars is they mark up their equipment above msrp like a new car lot. I bought a helmet accessory and the price listed on the package was 19.99 and when he rang it up he said their price is 24.99. It's 19.99 everywhere else like at dicks and big 5 so I think it's a little annoying they do this. if they're going to mark it up, at least put a new price tag on the stuff. The owner is jerk who will not make a refund when it obviously calls for one to be issued. DO NOT sign up for the memberships at Baseball Addicts. The owner will not issue you a refund even if you sign up for it by mistake; the owner likes to hide behind the 'fine print' in his membership contracts. The baseball tees are cheap plastic tees at Baseball Addicts; Designated Hitter has the higher quality tees. I had to bring in my own higher quality baseball tee at Baseball Addicts. The baseball equipment in Baseball Addicts baseball store is cheap quality at higher prices. If you want cheap baseball equipment at better prices go to Big5. For hitting cages, you are better off going to Designated Hitter in Rocklin rather than Baseball Addicts. I went to this establishment when it first opened for my son's school. It was clean and organized I recently went back and did not see the young girl who helped me previously which bummed me out because she was very sweet. Again it's been probably 3 years since I have been in this store. My son informed me that she is the daughter of the owner and is probably taking time off for the new baby she had! I scheduled my son a time to do the batting cage the night before. It was set for when they first opened. I noticed right away I picked the wrong time and tried to cancel, but it didn't let me do it online because it was less than 24 hours before the session. The site gave me a number to call to cancel, and no one picked up, so I left a message saying I would like to cancel and will reschedule. I tried calling the store several times after, but there was no answer. Later that morning, after the session passed that I canceled, I called to reschedule. Someone finally picked up the phone and told me my lesson time passed. I explained that no one was answering for me to cancel, and I left a message. The employee said that they didn't listen to the messages and refused to schedule a new time even though they had openings. They also would not refund the money either. I have taken my son and daughter here with no issue since they opened. It was very surprising that they could not be flexible in this situation. read more

We have loved this place since it opened in March 2022. We love to support local and family owned business. We frequent the cages and enjoy the one stop shop for all things baseball. We come here because the owner is extremely knowledgeable and do what they can for their customers. We had bought my son a baseball helmet at Christmas without knowing that his HS team had changed their helmet color for the upcoming season. I couldn't find a gloss navy helmet in his size anywhere and Bill, the owner, was willing to make a special order. We were so grateful. We just did a birthday party here doing a HitTrax tourney paired with blitz & wiffle ball games. One of the easiest parties I've ever done. Thanks to Bill and family for making this birthday a success. Solid service for young baseball players to get some more reps in at higher speeds (my old man arm can't pitch like it used to!)

I drove in from out of town for travel softball at the Big League Dream fields in Manteca. My daughter's catchers mitt needed to be repaired before going back out to the field the following day. Without hesitation, they took the mitt and shared an honest assessment of her equipment so I can have an idea of how to move forward with buying or relaxing the glove. But they took the glove, relaced the pocket and fixed the areas of need and sent us in our way without charging us for the quick fix. It is what you'd expect from a community of people who are about genuinely helping others. I can't tell how great of a feeling it is when help is shared without asking for anything in return. Quality people here and if that's any indication of the the type of people they have there....it most definitely speaks volumes on the quality of business and service provided there!! read more

The owner of Baseball Addicts reached out after the first yelp review was written, stating that he looked at additional surveillance videos and was able to verify that we made it very clear that son/grandson would not be playing "travel ball". Therefore he agreed to give store credit for the travel ball bat we had purchased the day before. My daughter and grandson went back to Baseball Addicts later that day and picked out a bat for little league. They also picked out a mit and glove. My daughter noticed that the bats appeared to have been rearranged in the shop and mentioned that to the staff, who was very helpful. Staff said they decided to separate travel ball bats from little league bats to help assure there would not be another incident like what we experienced. I am happy to be able to leave this review and happy that the shop owner took responsibility for making sure his staff are appropriately trained to help families like ours get the correct equipment for our kids. read more

This place uses deceptive sales tactics in order to sell you gear. they knowingly sold us wrong gear and the owner refuses to take responsibility for this. He wont let us exchange or return our money. he said the mitt is used even though it hasn't been used at all. The batting cages are less than desireable. The pitching machine only goes goes up to 65mph and the condition of the balls are awful. The machine is also not consistent. Don't waste your money, go to Dicks! The glove I bought was also half the price at Dicks. read more

My wife and I were on a business trip and decided to look up indoor batting cages/tunnels in the Roseville area just for fun. We found Baseball Addicts! The staff here are very friendly and accommodating, especially since they were so kind to let us borrow some baseball bats and helmets as we didn't have any while traveling. They have two side by side indoor batting cages that are fully climate controlled, which makes it great during this heat wave. My family went in to use their batting cage for my sons and ended up buying a catchers mitt for my son who plays baseball. Spoke at length about my son who is a high school catcher to their salesman, a nice man with longer hair and a younger girl. Looked at the catchers mitts and my son saw one that looked cool and different so we had them take it out of the case. It was in the display with all the baseball catchers mitts. Turns out they sold us a fast pitch softball mitt and tried to pawn it off as a baseball mitt. The owner is not willing to make it right and won't return the money we spent even though they were deceptive when selling us the mitt. Shame on us for being so trusting. Never looked at the receipt, shoved it it in my purse. My son went to practice and his coach said it was a softball mitt. I finally looked at the receipt and it said fastpitch. Shame on me for not being attentive and being trusting. Don't trust anyone here to have the knowledge or to recommend anything that you will need. I have never had a business not try to make something right when they were so clearly in the wrong. Anyone need a fast pitch catchers mitt? I have one for sale. read more
