Found this gem on vacation for brunch. Loved the laid back,beachy vibe. Dining room was very clean. Plenty of seating. Food was great!Family of four and none of us were disappointed. Breakfast burrito, breakfast special, and the Big Bird Bowl were very filling and tasty. Also, had the pulled pork lunch sandwich. Mmmmm. My husband and I had a wonderful meal this morning at this great cafe. I had the eggs benedict on homemade biscuits (OMG!) with grits (yummy) and my husband had the chicken with gravy on biscuits (also delicious). Our food was prepared quickly, the waitress was friendly and we even had a nice chat with the owner, Joe. His food is fresh, delicious and his menu is extensive. Shitty way to start our Father's Day. The food is NOT worth the wait here AT ALL! This is the 2nd time we have tried breakfast here on a Sunday/Saturday morning and both times I think they had to go catch the chickens for the eggs. Our table, along with 6 others waited at least 40 mins for food. Meanwhile, we watched someone who worked there (either the manager or owner) sit down and eat before many other tables that were waiting on food! Seemed to me that none of the staff seemed to have a care in the world. We will definitely not be coming back again. I honestly don't know how they remain in business. read more

The first time I ate lunch there the day after New Years & didn't expect much because of the holiday - but I was wrong and pleasantly surprised. My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try on a Saturday since it had good reviews and we didn't want to wait for a spot to open up at Berry Fresh. We called ahead and the woman who answered was not very cordial and I wish we took that as a sign. Still we gave it a try and sat down ordered our food. The restaurant was half empty and we waited for exactly 40 minutes and food had still not come out. I told the waitress very politely that we had somewhere to be and we're honestly just starving so we were going to leave. All she said was "oh" and walked away. The original waitress that I believed answered the phone the first time literally laughed at us as we were walking out and not a single staff member offered an apology or excuse. We will never be returning and will 10/10 just be waiting for Berry Fresh from now on. read more

We stopped in to have breakfast and were greeted and seated immediately by Dorothy. Our coffe was piping hot, served with fresh cream and refilled as requested. My husband ordered a standard 2 egg, sausage and toast with hash browns, he always requests his hash browns extra crispy and told Dorothy if they made them extra crispy like he requests, he will come back all the time.
